Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of madrasah leadership from a conservative approach to a collaborative one in building a more positive public opinion. The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Darul Musthofa Tiris Probolinggo with a qualitative approach through case studies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis involving the head of the madrasah, teachers, students, parents, and the surrounding community. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of collaborative leadership in madrasahs has succeeded in improving communication between stakeholders and strengthening the relationship between the madrasah and the community. Through various communication channels such as social media, direct meetings, and digital announcements, information can be conveyed clearly and openly. In addition, the use of technology in communication accelerates the dissemination of information and increases active participation from all related parties. This study also found that the communicative and open leadership of the madrasah head plays an important role in creating a collaborative environment, as well as increasing public trust in the madrasah. This finding is in line with the theory of transformational leadership and effective communication, which emphasizes transparency, collaboration, and the use of technology in improving educational performance. This study contributes to developing a more inclusive and responsive madrasah leadership model to the needs of the times.

Abstract

This research examines the role of the headmaster in developing the Tahfidzul Qur'an curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Zainul HasanPajarakan Probolinggo. The study aims to analyze the leadership strategies, curriculum planning, and implementation to enhance students' ability to memorize the Qur'an. The findings highlight that the headmaster plays a crucial role in establishing a clear vision, motivating staff, and ensuring the curriculum is tailored to the needs of the students. The leadership strategies implemented include creating a conducive environment for Qur'an memorization, regular assessments, and active involvement of parents and the community. The curriculum planning emphasizes effective methods such as tasmi' (listening to students' recitations) and muraja'ah (revision), which are integrated into students' daily routines. The implementation of these strategies has shown a significant impact on students' ability to improve their Qur'an memorization consistently. The study concludes that the leadership of the headmaster is pivotal in ensuring the success of the Tahfidzul Qur'an curriculum, fostering a disciplined, spiritually enriched, and academically capable generation. The research recommends adopting similar strategies in other madrasahs to enhance the overall quality of Qur'an memorization programs.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebabkan keterbatasan interaksi antar masyarakat, selain itu juga menyebabkan tidak dapat dilaksanakannya KSM-T kelompok 86 secara bersama-sama di satu lokasi sehingga terbagi menjadi 3 (tiga) lokasi yaitu, Kabupaten Malang, Kabupaten Sampang, dan Kabupaten Bima. Salah satu permasalahan yang ada dalam masyarakat, adalah kurangnya kepedulian tentang pentingnya menerapkan protokol kesehatan di masa pandemi Covid-19. Terkait hal tersebut mahasiswa KSM-T Kelompok 86 mengangkat program penerapan protokol kesehatan di masa pandmi Covid-19 yaitu:1) Meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menerapkan protokol kesehatan; 2) Membantu Pemerintah Desa dan masyarakat sekitar untuk mencegah penularan Covid-19; 3) Membantu memutus rantai Covid-19 berbasis wilayah. Hasil dari pogram kerja yang telah diterapkan adalah terciptanya kesadaran masyarakat untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan dalam upaya penanggulangan penyebaran Covid-19 di lokasi tempat tinggal masing-masing peserta KSM serta meningkatnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan tentang bahaya Covid-19 di kalangan masyarakat. Selain itu masyarakat mulai rutin memakai masker, handsanitizer, dan menjaga jarak ketika melakukan interaksi dengan masyarakat lainnya.

Abstract

Tingginya angka perceraian di Probolinggo telah menjadi masalah tersendiri di lingkungan masyarakat karena dampaknya yang begitu tinggi baik secara sosial maupun budaya. Angka perceraian di Probolinggo terbilang tinggi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari angka percerain dari tahun ke tahun jumlahnya meningkat. Pada tahun 2014 silam, angka perceraian sebanyak 3.578 kasus, tahun 2016 sebanyak 1.641 kasus,  tahun 2017 sebanyak 2.356 kasus hingga tahun  2020 sebanyak 2.326 kasus. Sementara dampak perceraian adalah tingginya kenakalan remaja seperti  genk  motor, anak jalanan, kasus minum-minuman keras, putus sekolah akibat rumah tangga yang retak (broken). Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengongkap dan mengelaborasi motivasi, faktor penyebab dan langkah-langkah strategis untuk mengatasi masalah perceraian. Penelitian mengambil lokasi di Desa Asembakor, Kraksaan, Prbolinggo.  Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Dari hasil penelian dapat disimpulkan bahwa,  Pertama:  Perceraian yang terjadi di Desa Asambakor dilatarbelakangi adanya faktor pihak ketiga (perselingkuhan), ekonomi dan kekerasan rumah tangga. Sehingga pihak istri memilih percerain untuk menghindari masalah yang melingkupinya.   Dampak lebih jauh adalah maslah pengasuhan anak.  Penyebab pihak ketiga mencapai 50%, Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga (KDRT) hanya mencapai 10%, pernikahan dini dan ekonomi hanya 20%. Warga Asembakor cenderung menganggap perceraian adalah suatu hal yang biasa dan wajar terjadi sehingga mereka tidak segan-segan melakukan perceraian sebagai jalan keluar. Kedua: Faktor-faktor perceraian yang dipicu lemahnya pengetahuan dalam mengatur rumah tangga yang sesuai ajaran Islam. Sehingga untuk mengansipasi terjadinya perceraian  tersebut adalah perlunya pendidikan keluarga sakinah, meningkatkan ketahan keluarga, ketahanan  ekonomi melalui penyediaan lapangan kerja, serta pendampingan kepada keluarga rentan untuk mencapai keluarga sakinah.

Abstract

Artikel ini menalaah  pemikiran KH. Zaini Mun’im tentang kebangsaan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kepustakaan (library research) dengan studi analisis deskriptif. Studi analisis menggunakan analisis konten dan deskriptif terkait pemikiran  kebangsaan KH. Zaini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  pemikiran KH. Zaini Mun’im  tentang kebangsaan  tertuang Trilogi santri dan Panca Kesadaran Santri  yang dikenal al-dawabit al-santri dan al-wa’iyyah al-khamsah. Kiai Zaini tidak bertentangan dengan keislaman. Islam tidak perlu dipertentangkan dengan negara,  keduanya adalah ranah dalam satu konsep perjuangan. Salah satu poin  dalam konsep Panca Kesadaran Santri adalah kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara. Ideologi yang ditanamkan Kiai Zaini kepada santrinya tersebut dikaji tidak hanya pada tataran ideologis saja, tapi juga pada tataran praktis.  Pemikiran Kebangsaan KH. Zaini Mun’im  bercorak Islam tradisional yang berfokus pada bidang akhlak tasawwuf, akidah (ahlussunah wal jama’ah) dan fiqh. Sedangkan, pemikiran kebangsaannya  digunakan sebagai perjuangan untuk mempersatukan umat dan melakukan perlawanan terhadap penjajah dalam memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the transformation of organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions, with a specific focus on developing a quality-oriented learning environment aimed at enhancing both academic performance and character formation. Employing a qualitative approach through an ethnographic case study design, the research was conducted between 2024 and 2025. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight key informants, six months of participatory observation, and analysis of institutional documents. Findings reveal that a tauhid-based cultural transformation successfully fostered a high-quality learning ecosystem through the synergy of three fundamental dimensions: the internalization of spiritual values as a foundation for strategic decision-making, transformational leadership that cultivates a shared vision and empowers stakeholders, and the integration of constructivist pedagogy through project- and inquiry-based learning models. Character development outcomes were equally notable, reflected in reduced disciplinary violations, improved consistency in religious practices, and heightened social empathy among students. This study contributes theoretically by introducing the concept of a Tauhid-Based Quality Learning Environment (TQLE)—a holistic framework that harmonizes academic excellence with Islamic character formation. Practically, it offers an implementable model for Islamic educational institutions seeking to embed spiritual values into sustainable quality education practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) as spaces for decolonizing knowledge through the epistemological approaches of bayani, burhani, and irfani. These three Islamic epistemologies, as proposed by Muhammad Abid al-Jabiri, offer a unique framework of rationality and serve as an important basis for the formation of an Islamic scientific paradigm. Using a library study method and a hermeneutical analysis approach, this study explores the relevance of these three epistemologies in the context of Islamic boarding school education as a space for resistance to the hegemony of Western knowledge. The results of the study indicate that Islamic boarding schools can act as centers of counter-hegemony through the integration of textual bayani, rational burhani, and spiritual irfani. The synergy of these three epistemologies strengthens the epistemic autonomy of Islam and opens up opportunities for the development of a decolonial educational model characterized by ethical and contextual characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between David R. Hawkins emotional consciousness level theory and the concept of nafs in the Quran. In transpersonal psychology, Hawkins maps human consciousness through the map of consciousness, placing emotions along an energy spectrum from the lowest (shame, guilt, fear) to the highest (love, peace, enlightment). Meanwhile, the Quran discusses human spiritual dynamics through the concept of nafs, which comprises levels such as nafs al-ammarah, nafs al-lawwamah, and nafs al-muthmainnah. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, employing comparative-conceptual analysis and tematic (maudhu’i) exegesis of Quranic verses related to nafs. The result reveal a progressive correpondence between Hawkins levels of consciousness theory and the Quranic concept of nafs, especially regarding human spiritual evolution from egoistic impulses toward divine awareness. The integration of these two perspectives offers an important contribution to developing an Islamic-based spiritualpsychology paradigm that is both scientific and transdental.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) Knowing the thoughts of Sayyid Muhammad Ibnu Alawi Al-Maliki, (2) Knowing the background of Sayyid Alawi al-Maliki's thoughts, (3) Explaining the implications of the rights and obligations of parents toward children The use of research with research bibliography (library research), and the character's thought study approach. The use of personal documents as data sources and documentation methods as data collection techniques. They use content analysis (content analysis) in the data analysis technique. The study results show that parents' rights and obligations toward children are mandatory for each parent. The implication is that Sayyid Muhammad explained how parents and children fulfill their obligations and explained the rights of parents and children, namely, (1) giving an excellent name to his son. (2) educate children with the best education. (3) placing the child in a proper place and giving halal sustenance. (4) marry off children when they are old enough, and it is also the duty of children to their parents, namely to be devoted to them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengamati dan mendeskripsikan pemikiran pendidikan Kiai Anwari Faqih dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran pendidikan di Bawean, serta mengelaborasi transformasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam kehidupan masyarakat Pulau Bawean, khususnya Desa Kebuntelukdalam, Sangkapura. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitan lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi, yang dijabarkan dengan cara diskriptif analitis. Perpekstif yang digunakan adalah perspektif sosiologi pendidikan dengan kerangka teori internalisai dan transformasi sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran pendidikan Kiai Anwari berorientasi pada pendidikan Islam yang dipadukan dengan pendidikan formal. Langkah-langkah strategis yang ia lakukan dalam mentransformasikan pendidikan Islam melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam yang diadaptasi dari nilai-nilai budaya, seperti tradisi medheng (silaturrahim) dari rumah ke rumah dan melalui komunikasi dua arah untuk menerapkan gagasannya pendidikan dan keislaman.
