Abstract

Abstrak: Pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai indikator peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat melalui wirausaha dan pemanfaatan model pembangunan yang mensinergikan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan (Green economy). Pemberdayaan perempuan menjadi strategi penting dalam potensi diri agar lebih mampu mandiri dan berkarya. Permasalahan muncul, masyarakat belum siap dalam penerimaan kedatangan wisatawan sebagai wisata edukasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mempersiapkan masyarakat khususnya perempuan dalam berwirausaha melalui pemanfaatan tanaman obat biodiversitas sebagai wisata edukasi. Peran perempuan sebagai pemandu wisata dalam melayani kunjungan wisatawan. Maka, metode yang tepat dilakukan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui beberapa tahapan: sosialisasi, pendampingan, workshop, dan evaluasi. Mitra sasaran adalah pada masyarakat perempuan yang ada di Desa Branjang, khususnya pengelola tanaman toga. Jumlah sasaran ketercapaian 25 orang masyarakat perempuan. Hasil solusi yang ditawarkan terbentuknya masyarakat sadar wisata sekitar 100 %, terbentuknya kelompok pemandu wisata perempuan untuk kawasan konservasi tanaman obat 80%, dan pengadaan paket wisata 90%. Sehingga dapat dipromosikan kepada wisatawan, perluasan kawasan konservasi tanaman obat, terbentuknya kelompok baru konservasi tanaman obat dan pengemasan produk minuman tanaman obat sebagai usaha masayarakat perempuan di Desa dalam peningkatan ekonomi dan usaha baru yang menguntungkan bagi keluarga dan Desa.Abstract: Empowering women as a sign of boosting local economies through entrepreneurship and the application of development methods that promote both economic growth and improvements in environmental quality (green economy). In order to increase women's self-potential and increase their capacity for independence and employment, empowerment is a crucial tactic. There are issues since the locals are not prepared to welcome visitors on instructional trips. The purpose of this service is to prepare the community, especially women, for entrepreneurship through the utilization of medicinal plants with high biodiversity for educational tourism. The role of women is as tour guides who serve tourist trips. Therefore, this community service program's proper methodology involves a number of stages, including socialisation, counselling, workshops, and evaluation. The women's community in Branjang Village, in particular the manager of the toga plant, are the target partners. Fulfilment of the overall goal of 25 female community members. The results of the proposed solutions are forming a tourism awareness community reached about 100%, training a group of female tour guides to the medicinal plant conservation area reached 80% and providing travel packages up to 90%. So that it can be promoted to tourists, the expansion of medicinal plant conservation areas, the formation of new medicinal plant conservation groups and the packaging of medicinal plant beverage products as a business for women in the village in improving the economy and new businesses that are profitable for families and villages.

Abstract

The hospitality sector is one of the impacted industries, as it is closely connected to the tourism sector by providing lodging for tourists. However, there have been some favourable effects, such as the establishment of Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi in reaction to the pandemic scenario. Increase in staff turnover is correlated with the appearance of opportunities that have resulted from the tourism recovery programme that the Indonesian government has implemented as a response to the Covid-19 outbreak, as was stated before. The research aims to investigate the employees' perception of the workplace climate at Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi and determine the extent to which the work environment impacts their intention to continue working at the hotel. The qualitative method offers an opportunity for an in-depth exploration of Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi's Efforts in Retaining Employees. This research found that skill development, career advancement, pay, work culture, benefits, and outstanding relationships affect employee satisfaction at Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi. To retain staff, Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi offers cross-training programmes, fair promotion processes, and a comfortable work culture for employee development. Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi employees depart for financial, professional, and outside experience reasons. Kokoon Hotel Banyuwangi has to strengthen work culture, interactions with supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates, and employee skill development.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the financial performance of a company by focusing on liquidity ratio analysis and market ratio analysis. Financial performance is a key indicator in evaluating the stability and financial efficiency of a company. Liquidity ratios and market ratios are used to measure the financial performance of PT Gudang Garam Tbk as a case study during the period 2021-2023. By analyzing liquidity ratios and market ratios, this research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the financial health and market valuation of PT Gudang Garam Tbk. The research findings explain that overall, PT Gudang Garam Tbk needs to focus on better liquidity management and strategic initiatives. Management should be proactive in analyzing the factors affecting the financial performance of the company and take necessary actions to improve the situation. With careful management and the right strategies, PT Gudang Garam Tbk is expected to improve its financial performance and maintain stability in the long term

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the extent to which expectations and facilities at RaGentar Glamping influence tourist satisfaction. Expectations refer to tourists' hopes or anticipations about the experience they will receive when visiting RaGentar Glamping, while facilities refer to the features and services provided by the accommodation, such as the quality of accommodation, food, recreational facilities, and customer service. The research sample consists of a number of tourists who have visited RaGentar Glamping. Through surveys or interviews, respondents were asked to evaluate their expectations before the visit, as well as assess their satisfaction after experiencing the facilities at RaGentar Glamping.The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a significant relationship between expectations and facilities with the level of tourist satisfaction. This means that the higher the expectations and the quality of facilities provided by RaGentar Glamping, the higher the level of satisfaction experienced by tourists. This underscores the importance of paying attention to and enhancing the quality of services and facilities provided by RaGentar Glamping to improve the experience and satisfaction of visitors.

Abstract

The Old Town area of Semarang is a tourist destination expected to become an icon of the city. Revitalization efforts carried out by the government between 2020-2023 have successfully made the Old Town area of Semarang more attractive. However, the majority of tourists visiting the area tend to only take photos and sit around without truly enjoying the tourist facilities provided. Therefore, this research aims to identify the influence of attraction and electronic word of mouth on the decision to visit the Old Town area of Semarang. The research method used is explanatory research employing questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies as data collection tools. The population of this research is domestic tourists who have visited the Old Town area of Semarang in the past 3 years and have social media accounts. A sample of 100 respondents was taken using nonprobability sampling methods, particularly purposive sampling approach. The research results indicate that electronic word of mouth and attraction positively contribute to the decision to visit the Old Town area of Semarang.

Abstract

The importance of customer satisfaction has become a primary focus, with many companies investing in customer resources and continually seeking ways to enhance satisfaction. Promotional strategies through social media are an approach that can be adopted by tourism businesses such as accommodations to influence customer satisfaction. This research aims to explore the impact of social media and facility quality on customer satisfaction levels. The results of data analysis indicate that Facility Quality (X1) positively and significantly influences tourists' decisions to stay (Y). The influence of social media (X2) is also positive and significant on tourists' decisions to stay (Y). Together, facility quality (X1) and social media (X2) have a significant impact on tourists' decisions to stay (Y) at Glamping Mawar Camp, Bandungan.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of local community engagement and traditional values on the desire to visit Kandri Tourism Village in Semarang, emphasizing the importance of local wisdom and community involvement as key factors. Utilizing quantitative methods and a questionnaire-based survey to collect data from visitors, this research analyzes the influence through multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Findings indicate that both community participation and local wisdom have a positive and significant impact on visiting interest, affirming that improvements in these aspects enhance the desire to visit. The study suggests that the management of tourism villages should focus on active community involvement and the preservation of traditional values to attract more visitors. It offers practical recommendations for destination managers and local authorities to increase community engagement and promote local wisdom as strategies to boost visits to Kandri Tourism Village, showing that synergy between community involvement and traditional values is essential for the successful development and marketing of community-based tourism destinations.

Abstract

The Old Town of Semarang is a famous tourist destination in Indonesia, with the potential to captivate tourists to return. This study aims to examine the impact of tourist satisfaction and perception of destination image on the intention to revisit the Old Town of Semarang. The research employs a quantitative approach through a survey. Data was collected through questionnaires given to tourists visiting the Old Town of Semarang. The research findings indicate that tourist satisfaction and destination image have a positive and significant influence on the intention to revisit. Tourist satisfaction positively contributes to the intention to revisit because satisfied tourists are more likely to return. Additionally, destination image also positively influences the intention to revisit as tourists with a positive perception of the destination are more likely to return. These findings provide insights for tourism destination managers to enhance tourists' interest in revisiting.

Abstract

This research presents a systematic synthesis of the role of accounting in advancing sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) based on extensive discussion in the literature. Through analysis of stakeholder perspectives, investor expectations, regulatory frameworks, employee expectations, community involvement, accounting practices, challenges, future directions, and the role of developing technology and collaborative efforts, this research concludes that accounting has a crucial role in promoting sustainable business practices and responsibility. Key findings suggest that integration of diverse viewpoints, investor needs, a strong regulatory framework, meeting employee expectations, effective community engagement, prudent accounting practices, as well as adoption of emerging technologies and collaborative efforts are key in driving sustainability and CSR initiatives. This research also identifies the limitations of current accounting practices and proposes future research directions to enhance the role of accounting in promoting sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is a highly competitive industry, where each hotel competes to attract customers and increase repeat visitation rates. One important factor that can help hotels achieve these goals is brand equity. This research aims to explore the role of brand equity in increasing repeat visitation rates in the hospitality industry. The study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and a case study at HARRIS Hotel Sentraland Semarang. The research concludes that brand equity plays a crucial role in increasing repeat visitation rates in the hospitality industry. By building strong brand equity through strategies focusing on brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality, and brand loyalty, hotels can enhance their appeal to customers and encourage them to return for future stays
