Abstract

Kegiatan bermain sambil belajar merupakan kegiatan yang paling menyenangkan untuk anak-anak. Guru PAUD masih memiliki kendala dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan untuk siswanya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kapasitas guru PAUD dalam pembelajaran numerasi melalui Edutainment Training Program di Pos PAUD Cahaya Nusa Kecamatan Ngaliyan. Edutainment Training Program merupakan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva untuk memodifikasi, menciptakan dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik, yang diharapkan mampu menjawab kebutuhan guru PAUD Cahaya Nusa di Kecamatan Ngaliyan. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah dan diskusi dilanjutkan dengan praktek pendampingan pengembangan media pembelajaran numerasi yang mengangkat konsep media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Hasil pengabdian yang telah dilakukan yaitu meningkatnya kompetensi guru melalui Edutainment Training Program dan meningkatnya kemampuan para guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran numerasi yang menyenangkan, yaitu dari 55,50% menjadi 91,50%. Berdasalkan hasil pengabdian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan Edutainment Training Program ini dapat mengembangkan kapasitas guru dalam pembelajaran numerasi.

Abstract

Permasalahan penting yang dihadapi sekolah inklusi adalah belum banyak pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk melayani PDBK (Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus), belum mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki PDBK. Tantangan bertambah pada saat sekolah diharapkan mendukung implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan pengembanagn pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.  Tujuannya agar guru kelas memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memdai untuk merancang IEP bagi PDBK dengan mengimplementasikan pendekatan mutlisensori. Pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakuakn dalam 4 tahap yang mengadopsi pendekatan OL (Organizational Learning), yaitu sosialisasi, eksternalisasi, kombinasi, dan internalisasi. Dimana keempat tahap tersebut dibangun dalam 4 blok bangunan OL. Hasil yang dicapai meliputi: (1) pengetahuan guru tentang IEP dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, pendekatan multisensori dan membaca permulaan mencapai 77,8 kategori cukup baik, (2) dihasilkan dan diimplementasikan rancangan IEP bagi PDBK, dari 3 guru kelas mencapai kategori baik. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah IEP dengan pendekatan multisensori dapat membantu guru kelas mewujudkan pelayanan yang optimal bagi PDBK berkesulitan membaca di SD inklusi.

Abstract

Education or schools that accept all children regardless of their potential, physical, mental, socio-emotional condition, religion, gender, or economic background. It is an educational service for children with special needs regardless of their physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and other conditions to learn together with normal children in regular schools, commonly known as inclusive education. Aligned with the theory of Differentiated Instruction, which explains that every child can learn in one class according to their varying abilities. This research aims to describe the service and quality improvement in implementing inclusive education at SD. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection is done using interview, observation, and documentation instruments. The results of this study show that the planning, implementation, and evaluation of inclusive education learning are done by balancing the abilities of learners, especially children with special needs. The implementation of inclusive education at SD Plumutan aligns with the theory of Differentiated Instruction.

Abstract

Learning media, as a tool for delivering information from teachers to students, aims to facilitate the teaching and learning process in school. Smart Apps Creator is a software with several advantages for developing interactive learning media, one of which is with the assistance of Canva application as its online design application. This research aims to create Canva-based Smart Apps Creator media to enhance the ability to understand the content of information texts in third-grade elementary schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on Sugiyono's research with the Borg & Gall development model modified into eight stages, namely: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision, and usage testing. This research utilizes data collection techniques through tests and non-tests. The data analysis techniques used include both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The material expert validation result obtained a percentage of 90%, and the media expert validation obtained a percentage of 92%, both categorized as "highly feasible." Using Canva-based Smart Apps Creator media in learning activities is quite effective through N-gain testing, with students' learning outcomes reaching 0.66 (65.6%), and the average pre-test score increased from 55 to 83 during the learning process (post-test). From these results, the Canva-based Smart Apps Creator media is declared highly suitable for learning and sufficiently effective in improving the ability to comprehend the content of information texts in Indonesian language classes for third-grade elementary school.

Abstract

In the learning process, students still have difficulty in understanding the material well. In its implementation, the teacher uses conventional teaching materials, less varied and not yet digital-based by actively involving students. The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of augmented reality-based flipbooks on the main idea of paragraphs of Indonesian language learning content in grade V elementary school. The type of research is the Research & Development (R&D). The subjects of this study were teachers, 1 media expert, 1 material expert, and fifth-grade students, namely 6 initial trial students and 13 usage trial students. The data collection methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques used include qualitative data analysis, quantitative data analysis, normality test, N-Gain, and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results of the study are the feasibility test by media experts obtained a percentage of 92% (very feasible), material experts are 91.25% (very feasible), student and teacher response trials obtained a percentage of 95.31%, and 92.5% (very feasible). The results of the t-test (paired t-test) obtained differences in results between before (pretest) and after (posttest) grade V students using augmented reality-based flipbooks. N-Gain test results 0.61 (medium). It is concluded that the augmented reality-based flipbook is very feasible and effective to use in learning. This research implies that augmented reality-based flipbooks can facilitate students' understanding of learning materials so that they can improve students' cognitive abilities in determining the main idea of paragraphs in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is the process of understanding information in a passage. Students with limited proficiency to elaborate fairy tale messages are the basis for this research. Students have the capability to read, but they have not reached the level of understanding the content the readings. The utilization of educational resources is restricted solely to books at present. This research aims to determine the design development, feasibility, and effectiveness of controlled e-comic media assisted by class minimum competency assessments (AKM) in improving student learning outcomes regarding the competency to elaborate fairy tale messages for third-grade elementary school students. The method used in this study is Research and Development using the Borg and Gall development model. Product validity testing is carried out by material expert validators and media expert validators. The results of this research show that the media feasibility test results obtained were 88% with the title very feasible and the feasibility test results from material experts were 90% with the title very feasible. The results of the large-scale trial showed improvement from pre-test to post-test with an average N-Gain of 0.67 and significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion of this research indicates that controlled e-comic media assisted by minimum competency assessment (AKM) class is deemed feasible and effective in improving the competency of elaborating the message of fairy tales for third-grade students at SDN 1 Sangge and SDN 2 Sangge.

Abstract

The lack of innovation and variety of media used in the Indonesian language learning process causes a lack of listenin skills for students short stories. This research is shown to create a learning media product in the form of a short story book based on augmented reality which can be effectively used to improve students listening skills. The type of research used is research and development with reference to the ADDIE model with the stages of analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Subjects for small scale trials of this study used 6 students and on a large scale trial using 31 students. The product validation test was carried out by 1 media expert and 1 material expert. Data collection methods used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The product effectiveness test used t-test and N-Gain test. The results explain that augmented reality-based storybook learning media is said to be feasible with 91% value achievement from media experts and 89% support from material experts. These results also provide an effectiveness value through the t-test analysis test value Ha is accepted and the N-Gain obtained is ³ 0.70. Thus it can be explained simply that the learning media is feasible and effective to use in learning Indonesian, especially in short story listening skills. The development of this media can be used by teachers to support interesting and fun learning so that it can improve listening skills.

Abstract

Media plays a crucial role in the learning process, and continuous innovation in media usage is essential to sustain student engagement. This study aims to develop a two-dimensional video using the Animaker platform to enhance elementary students' listening skills. The video, designed as a learning tool, was evaluated for its practicality, validity, and effectiveness. The research utilized the Research and Development (RnD) method to achieve this objective. The study's findings indicate that the media is highly feasible for use. This is supported by the product feasibility test results, which showed an 85.71% approval rating from media experts and a 92.18% approval rating from material experts. The practicality of the media was also affirmed through student and teacher response questionnaires, which averaged a 96.18% approval rating. Additionally, the N-Gain test results demonstrated moderate improvements, with scores of 0.5083 in the small-scale test and 0.6082 in the large-scale test. Based on the findings, the study concludes that the use of two-dimensional video media developed with the Animaker application significantly improves elementary students' listening skills in fiction stories. The high feasibility, practicality, and moderate effectiveness ratings suggest that this innovative media tool is a valuable asset in the educational process, successfully engaging students and enhancing their listening abilities.

Abstract

The goal of reading is to locate different types of information in a written material. To encourage reading habits, teachers must create engaging reading programs. However, researchers discovered that many children had poor reading skills based on observations made in class I of SDN Trimulyo 02 Semarang, which is where Teaching Campus 5 is located. Based on the pre-test the average is 67. based on the identification of issues brought on by a lack of resources for learning support, particularly media. Research on the usage of media, namely E- Sea Books, must be done using the Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) technique with support from the Class Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). The purpose of this study is to use the SAS to evaluate the viability and efficacy of this media approach with help from AKM Class. The Research and Development (R&D) approach is applied in this study. An assessment questionnaire with a Likert scale was used to gather data on media suitability, and a Class AKM test instrument was used to examine effectiveness. According to the study's findings, the average media validity test score is 85% with respectable credentials, whereas the average material validity score is 90% with excellent qualities. The average knowledge value for the large-scale test was 96, whereas the average knowledge value for the small-scale effectiveness test was 92. There was a 29-percent increase in learning outcomes. The media created for common vocabulary was deemed viable and efficient based on the data analysis. utilized in SDN Trimulyo 02 Semarang's first-grade classroom.

Abstract

Beginning reading is an important foundation for mastering reading skills. If students do not achieve the indicators of initial reading skills, they will not be able to master further reading skills. This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students who have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in vocabulary introduction material. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of E-Picture Story Book media based on the Steinberg Method and contain local wisdom in improving student learning outcomes related to initial reading skills in grade II of elementary school. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The product validity test was carried out by validators who were material experts and media experts, while grade III elementary school students were used as subjects for product trials. The results of this study show that the media feasibility test obtained a result of 88% with a very feasible predicate, while the feasibility test from material experts obtained a score of 92% with a very feasible predicate. The results of the effectiveness test can be seen from the comparison between the pretest and posttest results which show an improvement, with an average N-Gain of 0.58 and a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. The conclusion of the results of this researcher shows that overall, the E-Picture Story Book media Based on the Steinberg Method Loaded with Local Wisdom is declared feasible and effective in improving the vocabulary skills of grade III students of SDN Sangge. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an increase in learning outcomes in vocabulary recognition skills in grade II students.
