Abstract

Limbah kopi berpotensi tinggi untuk divalorisasi menjadi pupuk organik cair (POC), namun kajian yang mengaitkan neraca massa–energi dengan mutu POC dan kepatuhan regulasi masih terbatas. Penelitian ini menyusun kerangka neraca massa–energi gate‑to‑gate untuk konversi limbah kopi menjadi POC (pencampuran–fermentasi–penyaringan), mengkuantifikasi rendemen POC, massa cake filtrasi, dan kehilangan air, serta menautkannya pada indikator kepatuhan Kepmentan 261/2019. Metode memisahkan aliran in–process–out per tahap dan menghitung penutupan massa; parameter mutu diukur/pedoman menurut praktik baku (TS; C‑organik via TOC/Walkley–Black; N total/organik via Kjeldahl; pH; mikrobiologi), sementara beban energi dievaluasi dari kerja listrik pengadukan/pompa dan panas laten penguapan. Studi kasus ilustratif menunjukkan tiga pengungkit utama: pengenceran, fraksi padatan yang lolos ke filtrat (θ), dan kadar air cake (MC_cake); ketiganya mengendalikan kompromi volume–konsentrasi (rendemen vs. TS/C‑organik). Pada operasi tanpa pemanasan, konsumsi energi didominasi pengadukan dan relatif rendah, sehingga efisiensi material lebih menentukan daripada efisiensi energi. Kerangka disertai templat perhitungan yang dapat direplikasi untuk analisis “what‑if” (setelan pengenceran/filtrasi) dan audit mutu per batch, membantu produsen kecil–menengah merancang proses yang konsisten, terdokumentasi, dan berpeluang memenuhi ambang Kepmentan 261/2019.

Abstract

Excessive use of chemical fertilizers can reduce soil quality and cause negative environmental impacts. Biofernic is a liquid organic fertilizer made from banana peel and eggshell waste, which is rich in potassium and calcium and beneficial for environmentally friendly plant growth. As a new product, Biofernic requires an effective marketing strategy to be widely recognized, especially by farmers. This study aims to design a website landing page as a digital marketing medium for the Biofernic product. The development method includes needs analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance stages. The landing page was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with an attractive interface and features such as product information, ordering, and social media integration. The results show that the landing page can serve as an effective tool to introduce the product and expand the market reach of Biofernic.

Abstract

The study purpose was to design a development strategy for innovative gluten-free dimsum utilizing local raw materials, specifically milkfish and shrimp head waste in Sidoarjo Regency. This quantitative descriptive research collected primary data through interviews with five experts selected via purposive sampling, comprising academics, practitioners, and entrepreneurs. The analysis employed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) matrices to map internal and external factors and the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) to prioritize development strategies. The IFE matrix indicated the main strength was product innovation based on local potential (score 0.46), while the main weakness was the requirement for freezer storage. The EFE matrix showed the healthy food trend as the greatest opportunity (score 0.53). The product's strategic position lies in Quadrant I (Growth Oriented Strategy). Based on QSPM analysis, the top priority strategy with the highest Total Attractive Score (TAS) of 6.72 is strengthening product branding as a healthy and eco-friendly option. The development of gluten-free dimsum from milkfish and shrimp head waste holds significant potential using aggressive strategies, primarily by strengthening branding to enhance market competitiveness and consumer acceptance.

Abstract

The concept of integrated farming is a relevant approach to supporting sustainable agriculture in rural areas. Suci Village, Panti District, Jember Regency, has potential natural resources that support the development of an integrated farming system, particularly for sweet potatoes. However, farmers' limited knowledge and skills in applying appropriate cultivation techniques result in suboptimal production results. This community service activity aims to improve partners' knowledge and skills through training and mentoring on sweet potato cultivation to support the implementation of integrated farming. The activity method includes preparation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The activity was carried out from July to October 2025 through lectures, focus group discussions (FGDs), and direct practice of organic sweet potato cultivation in polybags using organic fertilizer from local livestock waste. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in environmentally friendly sweet potato cultivation techniques and support the implementation of an integrated farming system in Suci Village.
