Abstract

Supervised learning in Machine learning is used to overcome classification problems with the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach. ANN has a few weaknesses in the operation and training process if the amount of data is large, resulting in poor classification accuracy. The results of the classification accuracy of Artificial Neural Networks will be better by using boosting. This study aims to develop a Boosting Feedforward Neural Network (FANN) classification model that can be implemented and used as a form of classification model that results in better accuracy, especially in the classification of the inaccuracy of Terbuka University students. The results showed the level of accuracy produced by the Feedforward Neural Network (FFNN) method had an accuracy rate of 72.93%. The application of boosting on FFN produces the best level of accuracy which is 74.44% at 500 iterations

Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is a reflection of a region's economic growth. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is one of the provinces that contributes to good GRDP for Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to modeling GRDP in NTB using spatial econmetrics. The data used is the GRDP data of each district / city in NTB Province as a response variable and factors that affect the number of workers, capital value and electrification ratio as predictor variables. The results showed that there is a spatial dependence on the district / city GRDP in NTB Province on the error model so that the model formed is the Spatial Error Model (SEM) with a rho of 71.1% and an AIC value of 173.34.

Abstract

West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has its own charm in the world of tourism and is known as a pioneer of halal tourism. In addition to domestic tourists, NTB tourism always has an attraction for foreign tourists. This is evidenced by the increasing number of foreign tourists visiting NTB from year to year before the Covid-19 pandemic. This condition certainly has a positive impact on increasing NTB’s economic growth in the tourism sector and indirectly on the optimization of existing infrastructure. The purpose of the study is to predict the number of foreign tourist visits to NTB so that it can assist the government in making decisions in preparing adequate facilities and infrastructure in the event of a surge in tourist visits. The method used in this study is the Box-Jenkins-ARIMA model. The ARIMA method is based on 3 models that are formed from the results of plot data. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), from January 2010 to June 2019. The results show that the ARIMA (4,1,1) model is the most widely used model. This model is suitable for predicting the number of foreign tourists visiting NTB because this model produces the lowest SSE and MSE values compared to other models.

Abstract

Era modern saat ini memaksa manusia untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan, salah satunya dalam bidang pendidikan. Pada zaman modern seperti sekarang ini tidak sedikit sekolah yang masih memiliki keterbatasan atau kekurangan media pembelajaran, sehingga dibutuhkan teknologi untuk menunjang proses belajar agar lebih menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality. Media pembelajaran yang dibuat merupakan aplikasi media pembelajaran alat reproduksi manusia dengan menampilkan objek 3 dimensi menggunakan android yang akan diterapkan pada buku paket Biologi dan akan digunakan oleh siswa/siswi Kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 2 Selong selama kegiatan belajar. Teknologi augmented reality memungkinkan penggabungan dunia maya dan dunia nyata secara realtime. Dengan diterapkanya teknologi ini diharapkan menjadi daya tarik siswa/siswi dalam belajar agar tidak bosan dengan media pembelajaran yang megggunakan buku saja. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) versi Luther-Sutopo. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 22 orang responden dengan cara penyebaran kusioner. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan maka diperoleh hasil bahwa aplikasi yang telah dibuat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 2 Selong pada mata pelajaran Biologi Kelas XI IPA dengan materi sistem reproduksi.

Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan promosi hotel The Lombok Lodge, hotel tersebut menerapkan promosi melalui periklanan, promosi penjualan, penjualan pribadi dan pemasaran langsung, dimana periklanan dilakukan melalui katalog, promosi penjualan dilakukan melalui pemberian potongan harga sewa, penjualan pribadi dilakukan melalui agen marketing dan pemasaran langsung dilakukan melalui customer service. Terdapat beberapa metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis efektivitas bauran promosi berdasarkan dampak komunikasi yang ditimbulkan, yaitu: MMP (Media Mix Planing), CRI (Costomer response index), DRM (Direct rating method) dan EPIC Model.EPIC Model yang digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas bauran promosi yang mencakup empat dimensi kritis, yaitu: empati (empathy), persuasi (persuasion), dampak (dampak) dan komunikasi (communication).Pada penelitian ini jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif yang dikuantitatifkan.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif eksploratif.Secara keseluruhan pelaksanaan bauran promosi pada hotel The Lombok Lodge telah efektif, terbukti dari hasil analisis EPIC Model secara keseluruhan sebesar 4.01, nilai tersebut masuk dalam rentang skala penilaian 3.41 – 4.20 (Efektif).

Abstract

Instrumen merupakan alat ukur dari sebuah penelitian yang dilakukan. Keberadaan instrumen adalah hal yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari sebuah penelitian. Karena apa yang menjadi topik pembicaraan dalam penelitian tentu akan tertuang dalam instrumen. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu agar mahasiswa mampu menggali kemampuan yang dimiliki dalam menyusun berbagai instrumen penelitian sesuai dengan bidang ilmu yang ditekuni. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan yaitu coaching class. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu pengetahuan tentang pentingnya mengetahui pola penyusunan instrumen penelitian yang pada akhirnya tentu akan meringankan proses penyelesaian berbagai kasus dikehidupan sehari-hari bahkan jurusan masing-masing.

Abstract

The Ladrang Crispy Business of Mrs. Ni Kadek Indra Puspita is a home industry business located in Kenderan Village, Gianyar Regency. Indra's mother has been running the business of making ladrang chips for approximately 2 years since the onset of covid-19 which caused Indra's mother to be dismissed from work. During this 2 year period, the production of Ladrang Chips produced by partners is erratic every month depending on orders from small shops / stalls, which Indra usually entrusts to sell Ladrang chips which are produced by partners, and there are orders from relatives and partners, resulting in income uncertain partner. Customers owned by partners come from the partner's village of residence and there are also some from villages around the partner's residence. Therefore, the marketing area of ​​Mrs. Indra's Kripik Ladrang business is not wide. Based on this, the goal to be achieved in this community service activity is to help solve the problems faced by partners by helping to develop Instagram and Facebook marketing media, so that the businesses owned by partners are more easily known to the public. The result of this service is that Instagram and Facebook marketing media training can run well and smoothly and can achieve the expected results. Based on the results of the evaluation using a questionnaire, the results of the index category are very good with an index value of 92.5%.

Abstract

The development of tourism in West Lombok is supported by geographical conditions with scattered clusters of small islands (gili), tropical climate, and the cultural peculiarities of the Sasak tribe, so that it becomes an attraction in the development of global tourist destinations. West Lombok tourism development will be even more attractive with the establishment of the Mandalika National Tourism Development Strategic Area. West Lombok can play a role concurrently with this strategic policy momentum. Developing new growth centers based on the tourism sector in collaboration with other sectors and packaging the village's potential to become a thematic tourism village. Methods for predicting the number of tourist visits to West Lombok Regency are urgently needed to assist the district government in preparing appropriate facilities and infrastructure if there is a possibility of an increase in tourist visits. The method used in this study is the Box-Jenkins ARIMA method to predict the number of foreign tourist visits in West Lombok Regency. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the West Lombok Regency Tourism Office from January 2014 to December 2021. The results showed that the ARIMA model (2,1,2) is the most suitable model for predicting the number of foreign tourist visits to West Lombok Regency because this model produces the smallest Sum of Squared Errors (SSE) and Mean Squared Error (MSE) values compared to other models.

Abstract

This article discusses the analysis of the final grade of Linear Algebra course with multiple linear regression approach. The study was conducted by collecting data on attendance, daily grades, and final grades from students of the Bumigora University Computer Science Program who took Linear Algebra courses in the odd semester of 2022/2023. Collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the variables that have a significant effect on student’s final grade and how to predict these variables using multiple linear regression models. The results of the analysis show that both independent variables, namely attendance and daily grades, have a significant impact on the dependent variable, namely student's final grade, with a significance value less than 0.05. The resulting multiple linear regression model can also be used to predict student’s final grade with an accuracy of 70.4%. Furthermore, the results of this analysis also show that daily grades has a greater influence than attendances in predicting final grades. The results of this study can provide useful information for lecturers in improving teaching and for students to improve their performance in the course.
