Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and customer satisfaction on brand loyalty and repurchase decision among Samsung Electronics consumers in Indonesia, within the context of electronic waste (e-waste) management issues. The phenomenon of increasing global e-waste volume and the low recycling rate in Indonesia encourage electronics companies, including Samsung, to implement sustainability strategies to maintain brand image and customer satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative with a Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 200 Samsung Electronics consumers in Indonesia. The variables in this study include brand image, customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, repurchase decision, and demographics as moderating variables. The results show that brand image and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty and repurchase decision. Furthermore, brand loyalty mediates the influence of brand image and customer satisfaction on repurchase decision. However, demographic factors do not moderate the relationship between brand image and customer satisfaction with brand loyalty. These findings indicate that Samsung's sustainability strategy through its e-waste recycling program plays an important role in strengthening brand image, increasing satisfaction, and encouraging repurchase behavior. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the green marketing and consumer behavior literature, as well as practical recommendations for Samsung brand managers to enhance the effectiveness of sustainability programs in Indonesia.

A quantitative approach was employed through a survey conducted among active Shopee Live users in Indonesia. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings indicate that Interactional Element has a positive and significant effect on both Perceived Influencer and Purchase Intention. Audience Characteristic significantly influences both Consumer Attitude and Purchase Intention. Additionally, both Perceived Influencer and Consumer Attitude have positive effects on Purchase Intention. Mediation analysis confirms that Perceived Influencer and Consumer Attitude mediate the relationship between Interactional Element and Audience Characteristic with Purchase Intention, respectively. This study contributes theoretically to the understanding of digital interaction and audience alignment in shaping consumer behavior in live commerce. Practically, the results offer insights for developing more interactive and personalized digital marketing strategies for e-commerce businesses.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMAs) on purchase decisions, mediated by Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and perceived value, in the context of Compass as one of the leading local sneaker brands in Indonesia. The rapid growth of the creative economy in Indonesia and the dominance of digital platforms in consumer behavior make understanding the role of social media in shaping purchasing decisions even more important. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method to analyze data from 384 respondents who knew about the existence of Compass on social media. The results show that Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMAs) have a significant effect on Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and perceived value, where interactive content and following trends are the main drivers of consumer engagement. Furthermore, Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) has been proven to have a significant mediating effect between Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMAs) and perceived value by strengthening consumer trust and perception of brands. Perceived value is also an important determinant in purchasing decisions, including functional, emotional, and social dimensions. While Compass already has a strong level of digital engagement, it has been found that there are gaps in functional value and price perceptions that are areas for strategic improvement. This research contributes theoretically by integrating the consumer behavior framework with the concept of digital marketing, as well as providing practical implications for fashion brands in utilizing social media to strengthen consumer decision-making pathways in the competitive sneakers market.

Abstract

This conceptual study examines the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and consumer purchase intention, with trust as a mediating variable, within the context of Indonesia's sustainable cosmetics industry. The research explores how trust mediates the link between consumer perceptions of CSR and their decisions to purchase environmentally friendly cosmetic products. Drawing on an extensive literature review, the study proposes a conceptual model that outlines the relationships among CSR, trust, and purchase intention. This model is intended for future empirical testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The findings suggest that authentically and consistently implemented CSR practices can foster consumer trust, which in turn enhances purchase intention toward sustainable products. This study contributes to the literature on sustainable marketing and offers practical insights for local cosmetic companies in formulating business strategies grounded in sustainability principles.

Abstract

This conceptual paper explores the relationships between job autonomy, job engagement, and employee performance, specifically focusing on Generation Z employees within the service sector. Given the distinct characteristics of this generation, the study aims to develop a theoretical framework that illustrates how job autonomy and engagement serve as predictors of innovative work behaviors, which subsequently influence employee performance. The research highlights that job autonomy positively affects employee performance by instilling a sense of ownership and responsibility among Generation Z workers. Furthermore, job engagement is identified as a critical factor that enhances performance, as employees who are emotionally and cognitively involved are more likely to tackle work challenges enthusiastically. Innovative work behavior is proposed as a partial mediator in the relationship between job autonomy and job engagement, thereby strengthening their impact on performance outcomes. The findings emphasize the necessity for organizations to cultivate a work environment that promotes autonomy, engagement, and innovation, which are essential for improving the performance of Generation Z employees.

Abstract

Employee retention is essential for maintaining academic service quality and institutional knowledge in universities. At Telkom University, variations in employee satisfaction indicate the need to understand organizational factors associated with work engagement and turnover intention. This study examined the effects of internal branding and perceived organizational support on turnover intention through work engagement among lecturers and academic support staff. A quantitative, cross-sectional causal survey was conducted involving 328 respondents selected from a population of 1,808 employees. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results showed that internal branding positively affected work engagement (? = 0.430; p < 0.001) and turnover intention (? = 0.510; p < 0.001). Perceived organizational support positively affected work engagement (? = 0.372; p < 0.001) but had no significant effect on turnover intention (? = 0.010; p = 0.877). Work engagement did not significantly affect turnover intention and did not mediate the effects of internal branding or perceived organizational support. The model explained 55.4% of the variance in work engagement and 32.6% of the variance in turnover intention. Internal branding and organizational support strengthened work engagement; however, turnover intention was not explained through work engagement, indicating that additional organizational and individual factors should be investigated in future research.
