Abstract

Abstract: The issue of student character is a major concern in the world of education today, especially at the elementary school level. In an effort to instill moral and ethical values, SDN 2 Maria develops Cultural Thursday activities as a medium for character building based on local wisdom. This study aims to analyze the character education values reflected in the Cultural Thursday activities at SDN 2 Maria. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The object of this research is the Cultural Thursday activity. The research subjects consisted of principals, teachers, and students.  The results showed that Cultural Thursday activities at SDN 2 Maria are able to instill various character values, including religion, nationalism, mutual cooperation, independence, integrity, discipline, and love of culture.Key Words: Character Education, Thursday Culture, Elementary SchoolAbstrak: Permasalahan karakter peserta didik menjadi perhatian utama dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Dalam upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan etika, SDN 2 Maria mengembangkan kegiatan Kamis Budaya sebagai wahana pembentukan karakter peserta didik yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang tercermin dalam kegiatan Kamis Budaya di SDN 2 Maria. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan Kamis Budaya. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Kamis Budaya di SDN 2 Maria mampu menanamkan berbagai nilai karakter, antara lain religius, nasionalisme, gotong royong, kemandirian, integritas, kedisiplinan, dan cinta budaya.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Kamis Budaya, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam dunia akdemik sering ditandai dengan capai indeks prestasi yang diperleh. Namun disatu sisi prestasi tersebut juga dipengaruhi oleh Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dimilikinya. Tujuan penelitin ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara indeks prestasi (IP) mahasiswa dengan keterampilan berpikir kritisnya. Penelitian ini berupa expost facto research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 102 yang di pilih secara purposive sampling dari 335 mahasiswa PGSD angkatan 2021. Data IP mahasiswa diperoleh melalui Kartu Hasil Studi (KHS) mahasiswa dan data keterampilan berpikir kritis (KBK) diperoleh melalui tes. Indicator KBK yang diukur mengacu pada indicator menurut facione yaitu interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, dan penjelasan. Analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan uji linearitas selanjutnya uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi. Hasil uji normalitas data KBK dan Indek prestasi diperoleh nilai signifikansi secara berturut 0,475>0,05 dan 0,283>0,05 yang menunjukkan data berditribusi normal dan uji linearitas diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,792 > 0,05 yang berarti kedua variabel linear. Selanjutnya hasil uji person korelasi diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai r sebesar 0,342 yang berarti Ha diterima dan H0 di tolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan indek prestasi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an ethnopedagogy-based learning module incorporating the local wisdom of the Sasak Tribe for the IPAS subject in grade III of elementary school. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires. Observations were conducted during the analysis phase to identify the needs and conditions at SDN 11 Praya and SDN 3 Praya, while questionnaires were used to gather data from expert validators, teachers, and students regarding the validity and practicality of the module. Data analysis was carried out using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data were analyzed based on suggestions and feedback from validators for module revision, while quantitative data were derived from validation and response questionnaire scores, which were analyzed by calculating the average scores and feasibility percentages. The validation results showed that the module obtained scores of 97.9% from material experts and 97.5% from media experts, both categorized as very valid. The practicality test results showed scores of 94.4% from students (small group), 96% from students (large group), and 85.3% from teachers, all categorized as very practical. Based on these results, the ethnopedagogy-based learning module incorporating Sasak local wisdom is proven to be valid and practical, and is suitable for use in grade III IPAS learning to enhance students’ understanding of local cultural contexts.

Abstract

This research is a research and development (R&D) study using the 4- D model. The research aims to produce valid a integrated ethnoscience science education module using a case based learning model. The data sources consisted of three expert validators who used validity instruments with four indicators (structure, organization of material, language, and appearance). The research data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. Test the validity of the learning tool using score validation analysis. The results of the validity test show that the average score validation for structure module is 3.89 with a very valid category, for the material's organization it is 3.66 with a very valid category, for the language it is 3.67 with a very valid category, and for the appearance it is 3.73 with a very valid category. With a very valid category, the overall average mark validity is 3.74.

Abstract

Keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran seperti buku LKS yang monoton dan kurang menarik menyebabkan sebagian siswa merasa bosan dan kurang minat dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal melalui model ADDIE yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yakni terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara dan angket. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 14 Cakranegara dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi kearifan lokal, ahli materi Pancasila, angket respon siswa dan angket respon guru.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal memperoleh persentase skor validitas dari ahli media sebesar 88,75%, dari ahli materi kearifan lokal sebesar 93,3%, dari ahli materi Pancasila sebesar 82,6%. Nilai tersebut termasuk kategori sangat valid. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan rata-rata sebesar 91% berdasarkan angket respon siswa, dan 84% dari guru wali kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Cakranegara. Sementara itu, pada uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh rata-rata persentase skor sebesar 90,45% dari siswa. Seluruh nilai tersebut termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book berbasis kearifan lokal melalui model ADDIE layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Creativity is a crucial ability in teacher education, especially for prospective teachers, as it relates to designing innovative, engaging, and contextually relevant learning strategies, methods, and media. However, the creativity of prospective teachers in designing primary science learning remains a challenge, as teaching practices are often conventional and less connected to local cultural contexts. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Ethno-STEM Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in fostering prospective teachers’ creativity in designing science learning media and modules for primary schools. The research was conducted at a University in Mataram involving 59 students of the Elementary School Teacher Education study program, divided into two classes. Data were collected using product assessment observation sheets with a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–4), and the scores were analyzed descriptively to determine the level of creativity demonstrated in the students’ products. The results show that students successfully developed learning products in the form of media and modules integrated with Ethno-STEM. Based on 15 indicators, the average score for learning media was 81.69, while the average score for modules was 82.52. These findings indicate that the products were in the good category, reflecting a positive impact of the model on fostering prospective teachers’ creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teachers’ pedagogical competence and project-based learning on the story- writing skills of fifth-grade students in Bahasa Indonesia at SDN Gugus 1 Selaparang. The research was conducted at SDN 5 Mataram and SDN 18 Mataram, which are part of Gugus 1 Selaparang. This study employed a quantitative method with an ex-post facto design. The sample consisted of students from Class VB at SDN 5 Mataram and Class V at SDN 18 Mataram, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure teachers’ pedagogical competence and the implementation of project- based learning, as well as a writing test to assess students’ story-writing skills. The data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that teachers’ pedagogical competence had a significant effect on students’ story- writing skills, with a t-value of 2.683 > 2.019 and a significance level of 0.010 < 0.05. Project-based learning also had a significant effect, with a t-value of 2.342 > 2.019 and a significance level of 0.024 < 0.05. Furthermore, teachers’ pedagogical competence and project-based learning simultaneously had a significant effect on students’ story-writing skills, indicated by an F-value of 6.650 > 3.23 and a significance level of 0.003 < 0.05.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau biasa dikenal dengan HOTS sangat dibutuhkan dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di abad 21 ini. HOTS tidak hanya menuntut siswa untuk menghafal tetapi menuntut siswa untuk berikir kritis, kreatif, dan analitis sehingga mampu memecahkan masalah kompleks dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam konteks implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis HOTS pada Muatan Pelajaran IPAS kelas VI di SDN 1 Suela. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas VI SDN 1 Suela. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes yang diberikan sebanyak 6 soal muatan esai IPAS berbasis HOTS yaitu indikator C4, C5, dan C6. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data Milles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 6 siswa berkemampuan tinggi, 11 siswa berkemampuan sedang, dan 12 siswa berkemampuan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada muatan pelajaran IPAS kelas VI di SDN 1 Suela. Penelitian ini dapat melatih kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal yang membutuhkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS).
