Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of foreign investment on the development of natural resources (SDA) in Indonesia using a descriptive qualitative approach. Foreign investment plays an important role in driving economic growth through the provision of capital, technology, and job creation, especially in the mining, energy, and plantation sectors. However, behind its contribution, there are major challenges related to environmental sustainability, social inequality, and the dominance of control of natural resources by foreign parties. The data in this study were obtained through library research, document review, and analysis of relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that the development of natural resources involving foreign investment often does not fully prioritize the principles of social justice and ecological sustainability. Therefore, an active role is needed from the government, society, academics, and NGOs to ensure that foreign investment is not only economically profitable, but also fair and sustainable. This study recommends strengthening regulations, technology transfer, local community involvement, and increasing transparency in every process of natural resource investment.

Abstract

The management of medical records at Mamuju Tengah General Hospital in 2016 was still conducted manually, with the completeness of medical records ranging from 60-80%. This study aims to describe the behavior of medical record officers at the hospital. Using a descriptive quantitative method, a sample of 38 medical record officers was selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument used was a structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The type of data collected consisted of primary data obtained directly from respondents’ answers, and secondary data in the form of hospital documentation related to medical records management. Data analysis was performed using univariate descriptive statistics, presented in frequency distributions and percentages. The results showed that the knowledge of the officers (52.6%) and their actions (63.2%) were still inadequate. Additionally, the facilities and infrastructure in the medical records installation were also lacking (76.3%). However, the officers' perceptions of the standard operating procedures (65.8%) were considered good. It is recommended that the officers receive training, improve the facilities and infrastructure, and enhance the socialization of SOPs to improve the quality of medical record management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merancang platform digital berbasis design thinking untuk home industri tenun sutra tradisional di Kabupaten Wajo, dengan fokus pada peningkatan efisiensi pemasaran dan daya tarik bagi generasi muda. Data Dinas Perindustrian Kabupaten Wajo menunjukkan pertumbuhan signifikan industri kecil-menengah (IKM) pertenunan dari 185 unit (2020) menjadi 631 unit (2022), diikuti penurunan drastis 30,2% menjadi 440 unit (2023). Penurunan ini dipicu proses produksi tradisional yang dianggap tidak efisien dan rendahnya minat generasi muda dalam melanjutkan usaha tenun. Melalui lima tahap design thinking (emphaize, define, ideate, prototype, test), dirancang platform marketplace yang mengintegrasikan budaya dengan teknologi. Hasil uji blackbox menunjukkan kestabilan sistem 100%, sementara evaluasi User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) memperoleh skor "Excellent" pada aspek daya tarik, efisiensi, ketepatan, dan stimulasi, serta "Good" untuk kejelasan dan kebaruan. Hal ini membuktikan platform ini mampu mengoptimalkan operasional bisnis dan meningkatkan minat pengguna dalam melestarikan tenun sutra. Kontribusi penelitian mencakup solusi strategis revitalisasi IKM pertenunan dan kerangka inovasi digital berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Purpose — This research was conducted to find out how entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial experience, and entrepreneurial motivation influence the management of farming in urban areas.Method — This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with associative methods and employing multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The research population consisted of members of the Citra women's farmer group, totaling 20 people located at BTN Citra Tello Permai, Tello Baru Village, Panakkukang District, Makassar City.Result — The results of the research indicate that the entrepreneurial education variable has a positive and significant effect on the management of urban farming businesses, the entrepreneurial experience variable also has a positive and significant effect on the management of urban farming businesses, while the entrepreneurial motivation variable, partially, shows no positive and significant effect on the management of urban farming businesses.Contribution — This research makes a valuable academic contribution by addressing a population gap, as prior studies primarily centered on MSMEs, with limited exploration of the crucial urban agricultural sector.
