Abstract

Chaetomorpha sp. is a green macroalgae that contains various bioactive compounds with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities, as well as the potential to improve the physiological health of fish. This research investigates how incorporating Chaetomorpha sp. extract into the diet influences the hematological parameters of Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four levels of extract supplementation (0, 25, 50, and 75 mL/kg of feed), with each treatment replicated three times. The hematological parameters analyzed included total erythrocytes, hematocrit, hemoglobin, and blood glucose. The findings indicated that adding Chaetomorpha sp. extract to the diet significantly (p<0.05) improved all hematological indicators relative to the control, with 50 mL/kg of feed as the most effective dosage. The highest erythrocyte count 1.89 x106 cells/mm3, hematocrit value 35.67%, and hemoglobin concentration 6.87 g/dL were observed in fish fed 50 mL/kg extract. This increase in hematological values indicates improved oxygen transport capacity, physiological condition, and metabolic response in fish. Bioactive constituents, including sulfated polysaccharides and flavonoids, are believed to enhance the hematological condition of fish. These findings confirm the potential of Chaetomorpha sp. as a natural supplement to support Tilapia health in sustainable aquaculture systems.

Abstract

Hermeneutic epistemology is a branch of the philosophy of science that focuses on the process of knowledge through understanding and interpretation, rather than mere empirical observation or logical rationality. In the Western philosophical tradition, hermeneutics developed from Schleiermacher and Dilthey, who positioned it as a method for understanding texts, to Heidegger and Gadamer, who viewed it as the ontological foundation of human existential understanding. Ricoeur later enriched hermeneutics with a phenomenological approach to uncover the meanings of symbols and narratives. In the context of scholarship in Indonesia, hermeneutic epistemology has become relevant because it offers an interpretive paradigm that emphasizes dialogue between the text, the reader, and the socio-historical context. This approach has made significant contributions to the development of Islamic studies, particularly in Qur’anic interpretation, education, and the philosophy of science, ensuring that they do not become trapped in empirical reductionism but instead remain contextual, reflective, and humanistic.

Abstract

Abtrack: This study aims to analyze Islamic law's perspective on the phenomenon of marriage by accident, as highlighted in the film "Dua Garis Biru," specifically regarding the child's lineage status and its impact. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that marriage resulting from an out-of-wedlock pregnancy raises complex issues in determining the child's lineage. In Islamic law, lineage is very important because it is related to children's civil rights such as inheritance, guardianship, and maintenance. The majority of Islamic scholars believe that children born from an out-of-wedlock relationship do not have lineage with the biological father unless the marriage took place before the pregnancy or the child was born at least six months after the marriage contract. In the film "Dua Garis Biru," the couple Dara and Bima married after Dara learned she was pregnant, but the gestational age before the marriage did not meet the minimum requirements for determining paternity. This indicates the unclear status of the child's lineage from an Islamic sharia perspective. This study emphasizes the importance of a deep understanding of Islamic law in dealing with cases of marriage by accident, so that children's rights remain protected even though positive law in Indonesia, through the Compilation of Islamic Law, permits the marriage of pregnant women without waiting for birth.   Keywords:  Lineage, Married By Accident, Islamic Law, Two Blue Lines, Illegitimate Children

Abstract

This study develops an aquaponics system using tarpaulin ponds and recycled plastic waste as planting media. Conducted in Gampong Ruyung, Mesjid Raya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, the project involved community participation through socialisation and demonstration. The pond was constructed with durable tarpaulin and bamboo frames, while plastic bottles served as planting containers. A water circulation system with PVC pipes and aerators maintained water quality, enabling optimal growth of fish and vegetables. Results show that this aquaponics model is land- and water-efficient, environmentally friendly, and supports local knowledge and economic opportunities.

Abstract

Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) are organic compounds that are not classified as plant nutrients but are biologically active at low concentrations and can stimulate, inhibit, or modify plant growth and development. The objective of this community service program was to develop a fermentation technique for bamboo shoots into a PGR solution and to enhance farmers’ capacity through extension services and hands-on training. This program was implemented by lecturers and students of Politeknik Indonesia Venezuela in Cot Cut Village, Kutabaro Sub-district, Aceh Besar Regency. The activities included field observation and the fermentation of bamboo shoots to produce PGRs. The fermentation process successfully yielded a dark-colored PGR solution with a characteristic aroma. The local community of Cot Cut Village showed strong enthusiasm for this program because it used natural materials that are inexpensive, readily available, and environmentally friendly. This activity demonstrates that bamboo shoots have significant potential as a source of natural PGRs and can serve as an innovative component of environmentally sustainable agriculture. Through this approach, bamboo shoots are expected to provide a simple yet impactful solution in supporting sustainable, locally based agricultural practices in Cot Cut Village, Kutabaro Sub-district, Aceh Besar Regency.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has influenced literacy practices and language use among Generation Alpha. This phenomenon affects their language attitudes toward the Indonesian language in digital spaces. This study aims to describe the language attitudes of Generation Alpha in Indonesian digital literacy practices. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation of digital literacy activities, questionnaires, and interviews with Generation Alpha students. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Generation Alpha demonstrates varied language attitudes, including positive, neutral, and negative attitudes. Positive attitudes are reflected in the functional and communicative use of Indonesian, while negative attitudes appear in the excessive use of foreign languages and code-mixing. This study concludes that digital literacy plays a significant role in shaping Generation Alpha’s language attitudes, highlighting the need to strengthen digital literacy education oriented toward the preservation of the Indonesian language

Abstract

Speech in the marriage proposal procession is an important part of traditional communication that is full of cultural meaning and social values. This study aims to describe the form, function, and implicature of speech used in the traditional marriage proposal procession in Jepara Village, BPR Ranau Tengah District. A qualitative-descriptive approach was used with observation and interview methods, documentation and recording of the village head, traditional leaders, and the local community. The results of the study indicate that speech in the marriage proposal procession is indirect, subtle, and full of Ranau cultural symbols. There is the use of proverbs and traditional expressions that have a pragmatic function as a form of respect, expression of good intentions, and efforts to maintain harmony between families. Speech implicature shows a collective understanding of customary norms and values, such as respect, humility, and caution in conveying intentions.
