Abstract

Teamwork and organizational synergy are important factors in building effective, harmonious, and sustainable Islamic educational organizations. The development of modern organizations shows that institutional success is determined not only by individual abilities but also by the capacity to build collective work, collaboration, and effective communication among organizational members. This article aims to examine the concept of teamwork and organizational synergy from an Islamic perspective based on the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW and its relevance to the management of Islamic educational organizations. This study employed a library research method using a content analysis approach. Data were collected from Hadith, Qur’anic verses, organizational management books, scientific journals, and previous studies relevant to collective work and organizational synergy. The findings indicate that collective work in Islam emphasizes the values of coordination, communication, shared commitment, and interdependence among organizational members. The Hadith of the Prophet also highlights the importance of solidarity, mutual assistance (ta‘āwun), togetherness, and unity in building strong and harmonious organizations. Furthermore, synergy and collaboration contribute significantly to improving organizational effectiveness, strengthening working relationships, and creating an organizational culture based on ukhuwah (brotherhood) and togetherness. Therefore, teamwork and organizational synergy in the Islamic perspective are not only oriented toward achieving organizational goals but also contain spiritual dimensions and worship values.

Abstract

This study discusses conflict management and decision-making from the perspective of the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Conflict is a common phenomenon in organizations, including Islamic educational institutions, which can reduce productivity and harmony if not managed properly. Therefore, an approach is needed that is not only managerial in nature but also based on Islamic values. This study aims to identify the concepts of conflict management and decision-making based on the hadiths of the Prophet and their implementation in organizational life and Islamic educational institutions. The research method used in this study is library research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from the Qur’an, hadiths, books, journals, and various scientific references related to conflict management and decision-making in Islam. The data were analyzed descriptively to understand the values contained in the hadiths related to conflict resolution and fair and wise leadership. The results of the study show that Islam offers several strategies for conflict resolution, such as negotiation, tabayyun (clarification), deliberation (musyawarah), tahkim (mediation), and ishlah (reconciliation). The hadiths of the Prophet also emphasize the importance of good communication, peace, and listening to all parties before making decisions. In addition, decision-making in the perspective of hadith must be based on the principles of justice and wisdom so that the decisions made do not lead to injustice or create new conflicts. In conclusion, conflict management and decision-making based on hadith have strong relevance in building harmonious, fair, and humane organizations. Islamic values such as honesty, deliberation, justice, and peace can serve as guidelines for leaders in creating a better organizational environment oriented toward collective welfare.

Abstract

Controlling is one of the core functions of management, serving to ensure that all organizational activities align with predetermined plans and objectives. Within educational and religious institutions, controlling is not limited to technical aspects such as efficiency and effectiveness but also encompasses moral and spiritual dimensions. An evaluation approach based on muhasabah—self-reflection and accountability—offers a relevant framework, emphasizing introspection, responsibility, and awareness of entrusted duties. The integration of modern management theory with Islamic values positions controlling as a strategic instrument that not only measures quantitative achievements but also assesses the quality of ethics, honesty, and integrity. Consequently, controlling grounded in muhasabah strengthens accountability, enhances institutional quality, and fosters an organizational culture that is both competitive and character-driven.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of humans as khalifah and its connection to self-management from the perspective of the hadith. The findings indicate that the role of humans as khalifah is not only spiritual in nature but also has practical implications in daily life, particularly in self-management and social responsibility. The hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasizes that every individual is a leader who will be held accountable, making self-management the primary foundation for fulfilling this trust. Self-management involves the effective management of time, emotions, and resources. This study is also supported by empirical findings showing that self-management skills contribute to increased productivity and quality of life. Thus, the integration of Islamic values and self-management skills is key to realizing humanity’s role as responsible and effective khalifah.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Obesitas merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang terus meningkat dan erat kaitannya dengan gangguan metabolik, termasuk hiperglikemia. Perilaku binge eating (BE) memiliki kontribusi terhadap peningkatan asupan kalori berlebih yang dapat memicu kenaikan kadar glukosa darah. Binge Eating Scale (BES) digunakan untuk menilai tingkat keparahan BE, sedangkan kadar gula darah sewaktu (GDS) digunakan untuk menilai regulasi glukosa tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik responden, skor BES, kadar GDS, mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis arah dan kekuatan hubungan antara skor BES dan kadar GDS pada perempuan obesitas di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sumatera Utara. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi analitik korelasional dengan desain cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability purposive sampling. Sampel yang diperoleh terdiri dari 58 orang perempuan obesitas di FK USU angkatan 2022 sampai 2025. Data primer yang dikumpulkan mencakup tinggi badan, berat badan, kadar GDS, dan skor BES. Analisis korelasi Spearman digunakan untuk menilai hubungan antara kedua variabel. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden berada pada kategori BE minimal hingga sedang, dengan proporsi lebih kecil yang menunjukkan BE berat. Keseluruhan kadar GDS responden berada dalam rentang normal (GDS <200 mg/dL). Uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan hubungan lemah dan tidak signifikan antara skor BES dan kadar GDS (p>0.05; r=-0.057). Hal ini berarti H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Kesimpulan: Tidak ditemukan hubungan bermakna antara skor BES dan kadar GDS pada perempuan obesitas dalam penelitian ini. Meskipun demikian, tingginya prevalensi perilaku BE serta risiko gangguan metabolik pada kelompok obesitas menunjukkan perlunya edukasi terkait pola makan sehat dan deteksi dini risiko diabetes pada populasi berisiko.

Abstract

Learning activities are understood as a phenomenon experienced by students, which is seen in behavioral growth due to interactions with the surrounding environment, which is inseparable from the influence of mathematical disposition and learning environment. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of mathematical disposition ( ) and learning environment ( ) on mathematics learning outcomes ( ) of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Grogot. The method applied in this research is a quantitative approach through an ex post facto design framework. The population in this research includes all grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Grogot in the 2024/2025 academic year with a totaling 198 students. The sample was selected through a probability sampling method with a total sample of 155 students. The research instruments include questionnaires and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential, namely through multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level ( ) of 5%. Descriptive findings show that the average mathematical disposition and learning environment are in the moderate category, and the average mathematics learning outcomes with a value of 59,05 are in the poor category. The results of the inferential analysis using multiple linear regression method, obtained a regression equation model: . The resulting coefficient of determination ( ) is 0,332. The results of the inferential analysis for the t test show a significance value for the regression coefficient (mathematical disposition) and the regression coefficient value (learning environment) less than , namely and , then is rejected, meaning that the mathematical disposition variable influences students’ mathematics learning outcomes and the learning environment variable also influences students’ mathematics learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of mathematical disposition and learning environment on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Grogot.
