Abstract

This research was conducted on September – October 2019 at Rambutan Plantation unit PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III, PayaBagas Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai District. The location of this research determined purposively and the sampling technic in this research was proportionate stratified random sampling with a total of 38 samples from cast section (Afdeling). From the results of the research conduded that the harvest salary system in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Rambutan Plantation were a task bare system determined based on the area topography and potential production. Harvest salaries significantly affect the performance (quality of work, quantity of work, work attendance) in the PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Rambutan Plantation Unit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income level of fishermen anchovy catchers and analyze the factors that influence it. The research was conducted by purposive sampling method. The result showed that : Production Cost Variables had a negative and insignificant effect on the income of skipper fishermen, this was due to diminshing returns. Variable Amount of Labor has a positive and significant effect on the income of skipper fishermen, this is because if the greater the amount of work, the speed in obtaining the catch  (production) is more effective. Variety of Sea Trips has a positieve and significant effect on the income of fishermen, this is because if the distance goes to sea, then the amount of income of fishermen’s fishers increases. Variable Experience of skipper fishermen income, this is because if the longer or more business experience, then in managing business capital in obtaining results better and more accurate, so that income is maximized. Variable Production Costs, Number of Workers, Mileage, and Business Experience together influence the income variable.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the world's largest coffee producers, it can be seen from the amount of exports from Indonesia for coffee export. In the past few years, several companies have carried out massive expansion to get Gayo coffee from Central Aceh Regency and Bener Meriah. The purpose of this study was to analysis what factors influence the volume of Gayo coffee exports from Central Aceh Regency to the United States. The data collection method using the documentary method is the data obtained and viewed by the document in accordance with the variables in the research model in the period 2013-2017. Data collected is secondary data. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with the method used is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) Method. From the research using multiple linear regression analysis obtained that variables which have significant effect to the export demand of Gayo Coffee from the United States is Global Coffee Prices. While the production of domestic Gayo coffee, the exchange rate of dollars against the rupiah and the price of foreign Gayo coffee are not significant to the demand for export of Gayo coffee to the United States.

Abstract

The objectives of this study to determine the effect of production, land area, fertilizer costs and labor costs on the income of corn farmers in Perbesi Village, Tiga Binanga District, Karo Regency. The research was conducted using sampling techniques by purposive sampling. Prasurvey data collection as many as 427 farmers in Perbesi Village had 1-2 Ha of corn planting area so 10% of the total population was 43 farmers as samples. The results showed that simultaneously production, land area, labor costs and fertilizer costs affected the income of corn farmers in Perbesi Village, Tigabinanga District (Fcount 26.768> Ftable 2.62). Partially the production variable has significant effect (thit 2.271), land area has no significant effect –(0.868), fertilizer costs have significant effect (3.326) and labor costs (-0.875) have no significant effect on the income of corn farmers in Perbesi village, Tigabinanga district with t table 1.68959. Simultaneously all variables  affect the income of corn farmers in Perbesi Village, while partially the production and cost of fertilizers have significant effect while land area and labor costs do not.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa pendapatan petani kelapa sawit, untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi produksi kelapa sawit, untuk mengetahui berapa pengeluaran konsumsi petani kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Lubuk Bunut Kecamatan Hutaraja Tinggi Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan menggunakan proportionate stratified sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendapatan bersih rata-rata yang di peroleh oleh petani kelapa sawit di Desa Lubuk Bunut pada bulan Juni tahun 2019 adalah Rp. 6.079.229,00. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kelapa sawit secara parsial adalah pupuk NPK dan luas lahan sedangkan yang tidak berpengaruh adalah tenaga kerja dan harga TBS. Pengeluaran konsumsi petani kelapa sawit di Desa Lubuk Bunut pada bulan Juni tahun 2019 yaitu rata-rata sebesar Rp. 3.068.734,00.Kata Kunci: Kelapa Sawit; Pendapatan; Pengeluaran Konsumsi

Abstract

Shallots are one of the horticultural commodities that are included in the spice vegetables which are used as a complement to cooking spices to add flavor and enjoyment to cooking. Becoming an onion peeler is an alternative job for some housewives around the sambu market. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the job acceptance of onion peeler workers at Sambu Market, Medan Kota District. This research was determined purposively that is determined intentionally. In this study, the number of samples used was 45 shallot peeler workers in Pasar Sambu, Medan District, Pasar Sambu City. The results of the study of the factors that influence the acceptance of shallot peeler workers are working hours and work wages. The variable score of working hours and higher wages has a significant effect on increasing the acceptance of onion peeler workers at Sambu Market, Medan City District. Judging from the acceptance value of shallot peeler workers at Sambu Market, Medan City District, this average income per month reaches Rp. 1,411,111. It can be said that shallot peeler workers have low acceptance. The magnitude of the effect of work experience, working hours, and work wages on the acceptance of shallot peeler workers at Sambu Market, Medan City District, which was measured using R2 was 0.763. This means that the independent variables in this model are able to explain the dependent variable of 76.3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the value added and the feasibility of processing fish into salted fish. This research was conducted in Percut Village, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict which is located in a coastal area which has quite good fishery potential and the average villager has a livelihood as a fisherman and most of the housewives of fishing families work as fish processors into salted fish. The sample in this study consisted of 36 respondents. Data analysis was carried out descriptively with added value and feasibility analysis. The results showed that the amount of added value obtained from the processing of salted fish in the research area with raw materials of 67.86 kg of wet fish was obtained as much as 47.14 kg of salted fish every month with a selling price of Rp. 23,000.00/kg and the profit earned is Rp. 421,626.25. The average added value of salted fish processing is Rp. 10,837.22/kg with a ratio of added value of 68.29% 50%, meaning that the added value is quite high. The feasibility analysis revealed that the R/C ratio was greater than 1, namely the processing of salted fish of 1.64. Because the R/C ratio is greater than one, it can be concluded that the salted fish processing business in the research area is feasible.

Abstract

Abstract            This Research was conducted at sub-district of beringin as chosen location of research by reason the sub-district of Beringin is a central area of soybean production and as one of area for development of soybean in Regency of Deli Serdang. The objective of this research is to analyze the net income of soybean farmers in soybean agribusiness per planting season at sub-districtof Beringin and to analyze the influence of land, manpower, urea, TSP, KCl fertilizer and pesticide to the production of soybean per planting season in the sub-district of Beringin.                      This research applies field observation method by using research instrument, i.e. questionnaire and interview. The research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this research is all of famers who harvest of soybean at 3 (three) sample villages at the sub-district of Beringin. The respondent is 95 farmers as samples that distributied at village of karang anyar, Beringin and Serdang. The apllied data analysis mode is multi linear regression analysis that estimated by production function of cobb-douglas.            This result of research is conducted by using F-test that proved that the variable of land area (XI), manpower (X2), urea fertilizer (X3), TSP fertilizer (X4), KCl fertilizer (X5), and pesticide (X6) is significant to the soybean production variables. And on t-test, the land area, TSP fertilizer and pesticide influence the soybean production significantly. While the manpower, urea and KCl fertilizer has not significant influence to the production of soybean.            The conclusion of this research is the net income of soybean farmers per hectar/planting season at sub-district of Beringin is IDR 1.885.191 or 35 % of total cash income from the selling of 1.204,7 Kg while the production factor, i.e. land are TSP fertilizer and pesticide has a significant influence to the production of soybean at sub-district of Beringin. Keywords :   Production, Function of Production, Factor of Production, Estimation Model, Soybean, Production Elasticity, and Return to Scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan dan model pengembangan agrlblsnis dan agroindustri kelapa di Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah perhitungan kelayakan proyek yang terdiri dari B/C ratio dan IRR; Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa hasil olahan samping dari kelapa berdasarkan nilai B/C ratio dan IRR adalah : sabut kelapa (3,58 dan 76° o); tempurung kelapa (1,11 dan 23° 0) nata de coco (1,32 dan 32" 0); dan biodiesel kopra (1,78 dan 24,720 0). Model yang sebaiknya dilakukan adalah model koperasi usaha ' kelapa rakyat karena besarnya potensi perkebunan kelapa rakyat di Sumatera Utara.Kata Kunci : Agribisnis, agroindustri, kelayakan, model, kelapa

Abstract

Efforts to increase the income of the PKK KWT group in Sei Rotan village are carried out by the Tridarma activity of higher education. The objectives of the service activities include increasing efforts to maximize house yard land management efforts by cultivating horticultural plants in the yard, and increasing the knowledge, understanding and skills of the community on hydrophonic plant cultivation techniques in the PKK KWT group community, Sei Rattan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, and to improve community income which is classified as fitting to meet daily life, the implementation method applied is by conducting training and mentoring, in the training activities training is carried out: Hydrophonic Cultivation Training vertically and horizontally, Technical culture training for HEALTHY Horticulture plants through hydrophonic seeds, while in Mentoring: Guidance and Community Development who have started to apply technology, Discussion and Evaluation. the results of the activities based on the transfer of knowledge obtained a statement 60% of the community's responses strongly agree, 30% agree, increasing community knowledge after training obtained very good data 25%, good 60% and good enough 9%, and not good 0% and responses Satisfaction with PKM activities shows the data is very useful 42% and useful 52% and quite useful 2% and 0% which states not useful. The three categories of community responses show that the activities that have been carried out show that it is very important for the community to consider community knowledge and skills that are very useful for improving the quality of these farmer groups.
