Akreditasi sebagai bagian dari penjaminan mutu satuan pendidikan merupakan bentuk pelayanan publik pemerintah untuk masyarakat yang sangat penting. Selama ini, hasil akreditasi sekolah/madrasah belum memperlihatkan kualitas yang sesungguhnya diakibatkan oleh salah satunya faktor kompetensi dan kredibilitas asesor yang tidak memadai. Untuk meningkatkan pelayanan akreditasi yang lebih efektif dan efisien, dan menjamin hasil akreditasi dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, Tim Pengabdi melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan penilaian akreditasi sekolah/madrasah berbasis elektronik atau yang dikenal dengan istilah Sispena, yang difasilitasi oleh BAN-S/M Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi asesor sehingga memenuhi standar kelayakan untuk ditugaskan melaksanakan visitasi ke sekolah/madrasah melalui penggunaan aplikasi Sispena. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan asesor mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil evaluasi pelatihan yang dilakukan di mana sebagian besar asesor merasakan lebih memahami dan terampil dalam menggunakan aplikasi Sispena.

Coronavirous Disease (COVID-19) outbreak has struck the globe including Indonesia. With the COVID-19 pandemic rapidly crawling, Government implements a Large-Scale Social Limitation (PSBB) in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Culture (MOEC) has boosted the transformation of educational institutions through the Learning From Home (LFH) policy. LFH is policy that concerns with serving students to conduct learning activities through the distance learning either via online or offline. The goal of this policy aims to mitigate the immediate impact of COVID-19 which rapidly spread across regions while at the same time Government can maintain the quality of learning process. Using the model of policy evaluation, this study assesses the LFH policy which is focused on the rooted causes contributed the ineffectiveness of the policy. As the COVID-19 pandemic becomes a critical challenge for Government, this study finds that the ineffectiveness of LFH is relied on some factors which obviously exacerbate the proper teaching and learning programs. These are including the incompetence of state (apparatus) resource which can be traced from the state perplexed to face the COVID-19 outbreak with no providing a comprehensive policy; the weak of a coordination between MOEC and other stakeholders both local government and private sectors, the infrastructure gap among regions particularly in the remote and rural areas, and less financial support for conducting LFH. These are becoming the huge problems during the Pandemic as these obviously impede the succeed of learning policy. Keywords: COVID-19, Policy, Learning, Government, Capacity

Abstract- This service was done to help the Election Supervisory Agency of Indonesia (Bawaslu RI) in compiling the Manual Book of Community Satisfaction Survey. The Community Satisfaction Survey is necessary effort to improve the services provided. The preparation of this manual book is very urgent because the agency has the responsibility to accelerate bureaucratic reform as mandated by Presidential Regulation number 10 regarding of the Grand Design of Bureaucratic Reform 2010-2025. Based on an analysis, the results of the assessment of bureaucratic reform including public services within the agency have not obtained maximum results despite an increasing trend in recent years. On the other hand, the Election Supervisory Agency of Indonesia doesn't have a technical guide yet to measure the performance of services that have been carried out. The results of community service focus on the preparation of the Community Satisfaction Survey Book. This book is very helpful for the Election Supervisory Agency of Indonesia to improve the performance of public services through the implementation of the Community Satisfaction Survey which will be carried out within the agency's environment at all levels. The results of this service activity can of course be a reference for all election supervisory organizers throughout Indonesia, especially in relation to how to carry out the duties and functions of public services for the community in a measurable and sustainable manner.

This study aims to grasp the policy of state defense which embedded through the form of school culture which plays an important role to shape the character of state defense in Katolik Karya, Toboali Elementary School, Bangka Belitung. This also seeks to capture how state defense culture is effectivelly implemented to support the students’ character. This study uses descriptive qualitative, in which data and information are obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and documents involving principals, teachers, education staff, and students. This study found that the school already has developed policy to instill a state defense culture which is introduced by the Tunas Karya Foundation. The state defense policy is developed through a set of values which are arranged in the ten main character as a genuine of cultural product to form of student character. Schools conduct a state defense policy through habituation with a nurturing and modeling approach by teachers. This study also shows that the habituation of the ten main character values in making state defense behavior is quite effective. Based on the assessment results, the data shows that the majority of students have regularly employed the habituation of the state defense with average marks at 82 point.

Penyediaan data gender terpilah berdasarkan jenis kelamin telah menjadi salah satu kendala bagi pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Tangerang dalam mengintegrasikan isu-isu gender dalam perencanaan dan penganggaran pembangunan responsif gender. Workshop penyusunan data gender menjadi salah satu solusi yang ditempuh oleh pemerintah daerah Tangerang untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini. Metode kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan diskusi kelompok dan praktik disertai penyelesaian masalah. Hasil kegiatan ini memperlihatkan peningkatan sensitifitas dan pola fikir (mindset) para perencana program pembangunan daerah di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Tangerang. Para perencana program melalui kegiatan ini terbantu dan terfasilitasi dalam menentukan program prioritas daerah yang didasarkan pada data gender untuk mengurangi kesenjangan gender di berbagai bidang pembangunan daerah di Kabupaten Tangerang.

The COVID-19 pandemic, first detected in Wuhan, China, in late 2019 created a challenge to public health unprecedented in modern history and had a major impact on public health. In addition to the direct impact on physical health, COVID-19 also has a negative impact on economic and social aspects. The phenomenon of social inequality in the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is very visible and has exacerbated pre-existing aspects of social and economic inequality. Therefore, this study was conducted to further analyze the causes and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on socio-economic inequality in society. This research uses qualitative rules through data collection with a descriptive-qualitative analysis approach. The results of the study found that the causes of socio-economic inequality after the COVID-19 pandemic were bloated health financing, massive wage reductions and layoffs (Termination of Employment) that had a significant impact on the economic and social sectors. This research is expected to contribute to the development of political science studies through critical analysis related to the dynamics and appropriate public policies in overcoming socio-economic gaps after the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia

Education is a constitutional mandate in which its fulfilment becomes the responsibility of the government. With various limitations in resources, especially the budget owned by the government, the implementation and management of education have involved community participation through private educational institutions. This community involvement is carried out in the context of conducting studies carried out through the guidance of organizing private high schools in Indonesia. Private high schools in Indonesia are one of the educational institutions that play a significant role in the implementation of learning programs to educate all children in the nation. However, the arrangement of private schools has not received full attention from the government. Therefore, there are no standardized benchmarks for private schools, resulting in a wide variation in the facts and dynamics of education in the field. The guidance program for organizing private high schools is an important initiative to conduct a study to find the best governance model for private high schools in Indonesia. A focus on financial management patterns (planning, implementation, and supervision) of private high schools needs to be conducted to establish standardized education practices. Accordingly, the government can intervene accurately and measurably to support more effective future implementation of private high school education.

Tindakan plagiarisme merupakan masalah serius dalam dunia akademik. Menyusun karya ilmiah bebas plagiarisme memerlukan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kesadaran untuk melaksanakannya dalam berbagai tugas ilmiah. Untuk menunjang hal tersebut, diperlukan kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan secara terprogram dan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan memiliki peran penting untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang penyusunan karya ilmiah bebas plagiarisme. Hasil kegiatan dengan melibatkan 30 peserta yang tergabung dalam Forum Riset dan Debat Mahasiswa (FRDM) Fakutlas Hukum UPN Veteran Jakarta menunjukkan peran pendidikan dan pelatihan yang efektif untuk menambah pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kesadaran mereka dalam menyusun tugas dan karya ilmiah yang terbebas dari tindakan plagiarisme. Temuan ini menunjukkan mahasiswa memperoleh manfaat yang sangat besar di mana mereka memperoleh tambahan pengetahuan tentang kaidah-kaidah penulisan karya ilmiah yang benar, dan mengetahui apa yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilakukan dalam penyusunan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini juga efektif yang bisa dilihat dari kesungguhan mahasiswa untuk menindaklanjuti hasil pelatihan dalam penyusunan tugas dan karya ilmiah mereka.
