Abstract

The problem of students' short story writing skills is still a challenge in learning at the higher education level. Conventional learning that is limited to understanding theory is considered less effective in improving students' practical skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of discovery learning model assisted by serialized picture media on improving students' short story writing skills. The research used quantitative methods with a pseudo-experimental design and non-equivalent control group design. The sample was taken by random sampling, with one class as the control group and one class as the experimental group. Data were collected through essay tests and analyzed using t-test. The results of the analysis showed that the value of Tcount = 3.623, this value was then compared with Ttable at the 5% significance level (α = 0.05) with dk (35 + 32-2 = 65). So that the value of Ttable = 2.500 is obtained. Because the value of Tcount = 3.623 > Ttable 2.500, Ho is rejected, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. In conclusion, the discovery learning model assisted by serialized picture media has a significant effect on improving students' short story writing skills compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and compare the legal status of children as heirs based on the Civil Code and Islamic Law. The data collection process uses primary legal sources, including the principles and standards that have been set out in documents such as the Civil Code, Islamic jurisprudence, and the Compilation of Islamic Law on inheritance. Additional information is obtained from legal textbooks, academic journals, scientific articles, legal dictionaries, and relevant encyclopedic references. This study illustrates that there are significant differences in the procedures used to transfer inheritance to unborn children.

Abstract

Contractor evaluation remains a major challenge in safety-critical industries such as oil and gas, where the need to comply with stringent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards demands a robust and objective assessment mechanism. The existing manual evaluation methods are plagued by subjectivity, inconsistent data handling, and inability to resolve performance ties, leading to unreliable contractor differentiation. To address this problem, this study investigates how can a computational decision support framework minimize subjectivity and enhance ranking precision in contractor evaluations. It proposes a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (Fuzzy TOPSIS) to improve the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of evaluations within the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS). The DSS integrates qualitative and quantitative criteria using fuzzy logic and expert-assigned linguistic weights. Developed following the Waterfall software development lifecycle, the system was validated using black box testing and applied to realistic simulated data from ten contractors evaluated across multiple criteria and subcriteria. Results demonstrate that the DSS effectively resolves score ties present in manual evaluations, enabling finer distinctions among contractors, with the highest closeness coefficient of 0.479 achieved by the top-ranked contractor. This value reflects a 47.9% closeness to the ideal performance profile, marking a significant improvement over binary or aggregate-based evaluation methods..User feedback confirmed high satisfaction with system usability and performance. The proposed DSS offers a robust and adaptable framework for contractor evaluation, enhancing decision-making accuracy and operational transparency in high-risk environments. Its novelty lies in the integration of fuzzy linguistic modeling within a CSMS context to operationalize HSE performance evaluations. Future research should focus on incorporating advanced fuzzy logic methods and artificial intelligence to facilitate real-time, dynamic contractor evaluations under uncertainty.

Abstract

This article aims to synthesize various studies related to numeracy literacy skills in the ELPSA learning model with the Realistic Mathematics Education approach, and its impact on students' mathematics anxiety. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and meta-synthesis, this research examined how applying the ELPSA model combined with the Realistic Mathematics Education approach can improve students' numeracy skills while reducing their mathematics anxiety. The analysis found that this learning model is effective in helping students better understand mathematical concepts more openly and contextually, while supporting the enhancement of numeracy literacy through a Realistic Learning-based approach. Moreover, more positive interactions between students and the learning material help reduce anxiety in mathematics learning. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating the ELPSA and Realistic Mathematics Education models as a strategy that can optimize mathematics learning outcomes, create a more inclusive learning environment, and reduce students' psychological barriers.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Student Worksheet (LKPD) for the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject on the theme of Indonesian Cultural Wealth for fourth-grade students at SDN 39 Pontianak Kota. The research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with a mixed-method approach that combined quantitative and qualitative data. The ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) was employed because of its systematic and flexible structure. The LKPD was designed to integrate PjBL stages explicitly, apply communicative language suitable for students’ developmental levels, and feature attractive, contextual visuals. Expert validation in design, language, and content showed high feasibility, with scores of 87.5%, 97.5%, and 81.67%. Student responses were also very positive, reaching 98.57% in the small group trial and 88.52% in the large group trial. Overall, the findings confirmed that the PjBL-based LKPD was feasible and effective as a learning tool, increasing student engagement and motivation while fostering collaboration, communication, and critical thinking as essential 21st-century skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of correlation between learning independence and learning motivation with the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a correlation study research form. The population in this study were fourth-grade students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 32 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were indirect communication techniques and documentary studies. Indirect communication techniques were used to collect data on learning independence and student learning motivation with a questionnaire while documentary study techniques were used to collect data on learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak. The data analysis technique used with statistical analysis showed an average of student learning independence of 84.31, an average of learning motivation of 81.09 and an average of learning outcomes of 83.88. Statistical calculations using the product moment correlation formula, namely learning independence with learning outcomes obtained 0.674, learning motivation with learning outcomes obtained 0.605, and learning independence with learning motivation obtained 0.536, for learning independence and learning motivation with learning outcomes using the multiple correlation formula obtained R of 0.733 included in the category of strong relationships with Fcount 16.89 and ɑ = 5% of 3.33 which means (16.89) > (3.33), then Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a strong and positive relationship between learning independence and learning motivation with the learning outcomes of class IVB students of State Elementary School 06 South Pontianak.

Abstract

Perilaku perundungan (bullying) merupakan salah satu permasalahan serius yang kerap terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, termasuk pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Fenomena ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan emosional peserta didik, tetapi juga dapat menghambat proses pembelajaran serta perkembangan sosial anak secara menyeluruh. Sekolah Ramah Anak merupakan inisiatif yang digagas oleh Kementerian PPPA bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) yang bertujuan menjamin pemenuhan hak dan perlindungan anak selama berada di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan materi penanganan dan pencegahan perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan sekolah ramah anak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan meliputi koordinasi internal antara tim PkM dengan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kota Pontianak yang akan terlibat, meliputi tanggal pelaksanaan, lokasi pelaksanaan dan sebagainya; persiapan materi oleh tim PkM, pembuatan modul dan hand out oleh tim PkM dan lain sebagainya, tahap pelaksanaan yaitu workshop penanganan dan pencegahan perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan sekolah ramah anak. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan meminta peserta kegiatan untuk mengisi kuesioner melalui pemindaian QR code. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap penanganan dan pencegahan perundungan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effects of differentiated instruction on primary students’ mathematics achievement in the Indonesian context by comparing learning outcomes between classes taught with differentiated instruction and those taught with conventional methods.Method: This quantitative study employed a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group design with two intact grade 4 classes from a primary school in Indonesia. The experimental class received differentiated instruction based on students’ readiness, interests, and learning profiles, while the control class received conventional teaching. Data were collected using a validated mathematics achievement test with acceptable reliability. Assumptions were checked, and independent-samples t tests compared posttest achievement between groups.Findings: Students taught with differentiated instruction obtained significantly higher posttest scores than those in the control class, indicating a positive effect on mathematics achievement.Significance: The study provides empirical evidence that differentiated instruction can improve primary mathematics achievement in Indonesian classrooms. The findings offer practical guidance for teachers and inform school leaders and policymakers seeking strategies to enhance learning outcomes

Abstract

Etika Bermedia Sosialdan Aspek-Aspek Pengubah Hukumditinjau Dari Uu Terkait Informasi Dan Transaksi Elektronik Di Kecamatan Tarogong Kidul, Garut, Jawa Barat. Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi (Information and Communication Technology-ICT) yang begitu pesat dengan segala fasilitas penunjangnya dalam peradaban manusia modern saat ini, telah membawa kita memasuki era baru yang disebut sebagai era digital (digital age).1 Berbagai bidang kehidupan akhirnya dirambah oleh kemajuan ICT tersebut. Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi massa yang menekankan pada komunikasi antar individu manusia secara langsung. Dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi kemudian dikenal internet sebagai salah satu media untuk berkomunikasi.Aspek-aspek tersebut mempengaruhi ekonomi, hukum, sosial budaya, politik, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta pendidikan. Suatu negara akan tertinggal jauh apabila tidak dapat dengan cepat mengikuti dan mengaplikasikan perkembangan bidang transaksi yang memanfaatkan kemajuan di bidang teknologi informasi. Transaksi melalui media internet telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan efisiensi daya kerja dan menumbuhkan aktivitas baru yang merangsang tingkat pertumbuhan. Namun demikian untuk memberikan koridor hukum yang jelas dan terarah serta menyikapi pentingnya akan undang-undang yang berkaitan dengan dunia maya (cyberspace), khususnya yang mencakup pengaturan transaksi elektronik, pemerintah Indonesia telah mengeluarkan UU 19 tahun 2016 tentang Perubahan Atas Undang-Undang No 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik. Lebih lanjut seluruh kebijakan, perilaku, dan aktivitas apapun manusia Indonesia, harus mampu dipertanggung jawabkan secara hukum. Penjelasan tersebut bermakna bahwa hukum bersifat imperatif atau memaksa. Adanya etika bermedia sosial yang harus dijalankan, sehingga walaupun sosial media terbuka secara luas namun ada ketentuan hukum yang mengaturnya. Sifat imperatif/memaksa hukum tersebut seharusnya mampu mengarahkan ketaatan masyarakat terhadap hukum. Adapun masalah yang akan di bahas adalah 1. Bagaimana pengetahuan masyarakat kecamatan Tarogong Kidul terhadap pentingnya bersosial media yang beretika ? 2. Faktor penyebab saat bersosial media yang dapat menyebabkan terkena sanksi pidana ? Metode pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah berbentuk ceramah. Peserta PKM ini adalah para kepala desa dan kepala kelurahan dan masyarakat sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman masyarkat tentang regulasi dan pencegahan timbulnya pidana dari bermedia sosial. Akibat dari ketaatan terhadap hukum yang masih demikian tersebut, secara nyata menunjukkan bahwa profil warga negara yang baik “good citizen” belum terwujud secara baik. Hukum yang bersifat memaksa ternyata belum cukup mampu mewujudkan profil warga negara yang baik. Atas hal tersebut maka sifat hukum yang memaksa tersebut seharusnya mampu ditingkatkan menjadi bersifat “mengikat”. “Memaksa belum tentu mengikat, mengikat cenderung akan memaksa “. Hasil PKM ini akan dipublikasikan dalam bentuk berita di Media Online dan video pelaksaan PKM serta dalam bentuk jurnal.

Abstract

Sosialisasi pencegahan sengketa tanah melalui Sertifikasi Tanah dan memasang tanda batas bidang tanah. Perlindungan hukum terhadap sengketa Pertanahan yang timbul karena terjadinya konflik batas kepemilikan bidang tanah yang dikuasai atau untuk menghindari terjadinya sengketa atau kaingin taun atas batas tanah yang hilang karena telah rusak pembatasnya atau lainnya jadi penting karena tanah semakin hari semakin bernilai dan menjadi kebutuhan bahkan tanah berfungsi sebagai sarana atau tempat tinggal yang saat ini menjadi kebutuhan pokok bagi manusia sehari hari sehingga kepentingan hukum untuk membuktikan kepemilikan tanahmenjadi krusial dan penting, tanah menjadi penting dan harus untuk disertipikatkan sebagaimana ketentuan Undang-Undang Pokok Agraria dalam Pasal 19 pada ayat (1) yang menyebutkan bahwa “untuk menjamin kepastian hukum oleh pemerintah diadakan pendaftaran tanah diseluruh wilayah Republik Indonesia menurut ketentuan-ketentuan yang diatur dengan peraturan pemerintah”.Bagaimana pengetahuan masyarakat kelurahan Banyubiru terhadap pentingnya sertipikasi tanah ? Faktor penyebab masyarakat enggan mendaftarkan sebidang tanah ? Metode pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah berbentuk ceramah. Peserta PKM ini adalah peserta didik Pondok Pesantren dan masyarakat sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman masyarkat tentang regulasi dan pencegahan timbulnya sengketa melalui sertipikasi tanah dan pemasangan patok batas bidang tanah, selain itu, kegiatan inni betujuan untuk: 1. Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Masyarakat, dengan membangun pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya memiliki sertifikat tanah serta memasang tanda batas tanah. 2. Mengurangi potensi sengketa tanah melalui pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai prosedur hukum yang berkaitan dengan kepemilikan dan batas batas tanah. Luaran dari PKM ini adalah media online dan video pelaksanaan PKM.
