Abstract

Children are the foundational generation for the development of a country, so character formation must be done from an early age. Nowadays children are less interested in traditional games and prefer games on gadgets. Teachers have a role in strengthening character. The purpose of this study is to apply the traditional game of ucing-ucing in play and games courses to strengthen the character of early childhood. It is hoped that the results of this research can be useful for prospective PGPAUD teachers so that they are motivated and be creative in the learning process. This research employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and test techniques (cycle 1 and cycle 2). The results show that there is an increase in quite a variety of traditional games that need to be explored and developed, one of which is the ucing-ucing game because it contains values such as honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. By using the traditional games, children can maintain concentration, knowledge, attitudes, skills and agility, which are purely carried out by the human brain and body. The results of observations in cycles 1 and 2 experienced an increase from 65% to 85%.

Abstract

Moral education is very important to instill from an early age. Because at that age the child is easily given good stimulation and the child does not recognize many negative things. Cultivating good behavior since childhood determines the next moral development. AimThis study is to examine the literature, articles and documentation of research results that identify the implementation of demonstration methods in early childhood moral education. This research method uses literature review in the form of primary articles of approximately 20 articles consisting of 15 national journals with a period of the last 5 years and 5 international journals with a period of 7 years using certain keywords. Variabel independent demonstration method, and the dependent variable early childhood moral education. Articles are based on treatment, findings and conclusions. Results and discussion This study found that the demonstration method in early childhood moral education obtained varied results in terms of the duration of application, the individuals involved, and its effectiveness. The demonstration method is intended to provide positive stimulation, teach, exemplify, and instill the values of good behavior in the classroom, school environment, home environment, and the environment around the child. The demonstration method can be used as a method for early childhood moral education. Conclusion The demonstration method can be used by an educator or parent in moral education from an early age.

Abstract

The transition period in preparing for the next level of schooling needs attention from parents and teachers, especially the preparation for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) to Elementary School (SD), is currently the focus of attention of students, parents, schools and stakeholders’ other education. In preparing for the transition period in the implementation of early childhood education, at least three preparations are needed when entering elementary school, namely ready for children, ready for parents, and ready for school. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews and psychological testing to obtain the truth of empirical data. Through the empirical data collected, it is believed that it will be able to provide answers to the problems in this research. This research was conducted in PAUD in Karanganyar Regency. The data analysis technique uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that schools must have educators and education personnel who are professional, responsible, committed teachers, teachers who master the material and teachers who recognize the characteristics of children. Of the five characteristics of teachers that are mandatory to have so that they can help prepare PAUD children to transition to elementary school. The program of activities must also be of high quality, attractive, using a curriculum according to the local cultural context, relevant to interests, ages, needs and unique abilities in enhancing children's development. Schools and teachers need to explore basic concepts in developing curricula to designing appropriate daily learning activities for early childhood. This is also related to the increasing awareness of the importance of developing children's development at the next school level.

Abstract

Art is very important in human life, especially for early childhood development. The function of art in education is to develop early childhood development both physically and mentally. Good learning methods are fun and appropriate to the level of children's needs. The learning process seeks to develop the potential for various aspects of development, such as NAM, physical motor, social emotional, cognitive, language, and art. The purpose of this study is to examine literature, articles and research documents that identify the application of dance learning to gross motor skills of early childhood . To develop children's physical motor development, it can be done by using dance learning methods. Learning the art of dance is expressive, creative and imaginative so that it can trigger children's enthusiasm to carry out activities. In addition, learning the art of dance also develops creativity and helps children's physical and spiritual development. Through the basic movements of the dance, the child's gross motor skills will be trained so that the child's development will develop optimally. The research method used was literature review research in the form of scientific articles with a total of approximately 20 articles consisting of 15 national journals and 5 international journals. Results and discussion: this study obtained the results that the application of learning dance to gross motor skills of children obtained positive results due to significant changes. Conclusion: that there is an influence in the development of the art of dance on gross motor skills of early childhood.

Abstract

Aim This study aims to examine the literature, articles and research documents that identify language maturation in communication in children aged 5-6 years. Method This study is a qualitative study with a literature review method based on reviews of national journals and international journals. The sampling technique used is reference in the form of primary articles of less than 20, 15 national journals with a period of 5 years and international journals with a period of 7 years that are quality, accredited and reputable. The results indicate that language maturation in communication can be done by sharing ways such as using flash cards, letterbox media, using songs during learning, using audio-visual media.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are an aspect of development that is emphasized in early childhood education. AbilityFine motor skills are developed from an early age in order to have the skills to coordinate the eye and hand. The research objective is to examine the literature, articles and research documents that identify problems in improving fine motor skills of early childhood. Methods: references in the form of primary articles of approximately 20 articles 15 national journals with a period of 5 years and international journals with a period of 7 years with accredited quality and reputation. This research uses qualitative research with literature review method. The samples of this research are: 1) Related to fine motoric development of early childhood, 2) Respondents are early childhood, 3) The independent variable is problematics and the dependent variable is fine motor skills, 4) The treatment given is a problem which can improve fine motor skills. Results and discussion: The Literature Review states that media can affect fine motor skills, including pencil shavings collage,constructive play with paper, unit beam, playdough, kirigami. method can have an effect on improving fine motor skills, that isu aquatic / water learning, cutting activities, collage activities, cutting and pasting activities, demonstration methods, printing activities using banana leaves, coloring pictures, practical life in montessori education, interactive writing. There are several factors that can affect the improvement of fine motor skills, namely counseling through play activities, learning plans, learning preparation, learning environment, being overweight, and motivation.. Conclusion: learning media, learning methods are problems that do not dominate, but there are other factors that are problematic in improving fine motor skills, including counseling through play activities, lesson plans, learning preparation, learning environment, overweight, and motivation.

Abstract

Pengembangan pendidikan karakter menjadi sebuah upaya dalam mendidik peserta didik agar dapat berperilaku baik serta dapat mengambil keputusan sendiri. Selain itu, dapat berkontribusi yang baik di lingkungan masyarakat. Permainan tradisional merupakan sebuah permainan yang dilakukan oleh individu atau kelompok dalam masyarakat untuk mengekspresikan identitas sosial, moral, dan budaya. Masalah yang terjadi adalah anak-anak SB SMP An-Nahdloh belum banyak yang mengerti mengenai macam-macam permainan tradisional Indonesia. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk sebuah karakter siswa SB SMP An-Nahdloh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SB SMP An-Nahdloh Tanjung Sepat, Selangor, Malaysia. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan cara memberikan sebuah bimbingan secara langsung saat melaksanakan permainan tradisional. Hasil data dijabarkan melalui paragraf deskriptif, pengambilan data yang dilakukan melalui metode pengamatan proses, wawancara hasil serta dokumentasi di akhir kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa saat waktu luang dimanfaatkan siswa untuk melakukan permainan tradisional congklak bersama teman-temannya. Permainan tradisional congklak ini dapat melatih dan menumbukan nilai-nilai karakter anak seperti sportivitas, kejujuran, kerja sama, dan keterampilan dalam berhitung.

Abstract

One of the knowledge that children must know and have is about gender. Gender is the difference in characteristics possessed by a man or a woman. One media that can be used to introduce gender to children is flash card media. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness and advantages of flash cards in introducing gender to young children. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at Aisyiyah 03 Jatipuro Kindergarten, with subjects of 10 group A children aged 4-5 years. The results of the research show that through the use of flash card media for introducing gender to young children, children can better understand each gender characteristic of men and women. Flash cards were chosen because they are easy to make and cost effective, practical in use and storage, can be used anywhere, both at home and at school, and have an attractive appearance so that children are more enthusiastic about learning. The conclusion of the research is that flash card media can be used as an effective medium to introduce gender to young children based on the biological function of sex, how to dress and physical characteristics according to each gender.

Abstract

Sebagai generasi penerus bangsa, anak usia dini membutuhkan pembelajaran sesuai dengan masanya. Seperti halnya di abad ke 21 ini, pada pembelajaran anak usia dini perlu dikembangkang ketrampilan 4C (kreativ, kritis, komunikatif dan Kerjasama). Dan untuk memunculkan kreativitas  anak, diperlukan media pembelajaran sebagai stimulus. Salah satunya yaitu media loose parts. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi perkembangan anak, untuk memahami perilaku anak, dan mengevaluasi kemajuan anak dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi untuk mengetahui kemampuan anak dalam mengenal dan menggunakan media loose part, wawancara dilakukan dengan kepala sekolah, guru dan anak untuk mengetahui bagaimana antusiasisme mereka terhadap media loose part dan dokumentasi umtuk mengetahui hasil yang diperoleh dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dengan media loose parts bisa menjadi stimulus dalam meningkatkan kreatifitas anak. Selain dari bahannya yang mudah didapat, media loose parts juga memberikan kesempatan dan kebebasan kepada anak untuk memilih bahan yang akan digunakan dalam bermain, anak bisa mengekspresikan diri, belajar mencari solusi atau alternatif untuk memecahkan masalah, serta  puas dalam bermain.

Abstract

Salah satu ancaman terbesar bagi negara adalah pelecehan seksual terhadap anak. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk memahami seks anak dan mengajarkan mereka tentang seks pada usia dini.  Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk mencegah perilaku kekerasan atau perlakuan menyimpang, baik dari anak sendiri maupun orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini dalam perspektif islam. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif., dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di TK Saymara Kartasura sebanyak 6 guru. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi data dan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik  analisis  interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa di TK Saymara telah mengimplementasikan pendidikan seks  perspektif Islam untuk anak didik .  Materi-materi yang diberikan sesuai dengan Indikator pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini.  Selain itu metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran juga sesuai dengan metode untuk anak usai dini.
