Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengganggu proses pembelajaran secara konvensional, oleh karena itu diperlukan solusi untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Pembelajaran secara online adalah salah satu alternatif paling tepat yang dapat mengatasi masalah pandemi covid-19 saat ini. Karena pada era ini untuk menekan penyebaran virus covid-19 pembelajaran harus dilakukan dengan cara daring atau dalam jaringan. Pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan di rumah menjadi tanggung jawab orang tua dalam pengawasan terhadap anak-anaknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis seberapa besar dampak pembelajaran online terhadap kemampuan komunikasi anak usia dini. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa TK Pertiwi 02 Karangbangun, Kecamatan Matesih, Kabupaten Karanganyar. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode pengamatan, wawancara, dan kuisioner. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, dimana penulis merupakan instrumen utama untuk memperoleh data secara lebih rinci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) semua orang tua telah memiliki sarana seperti laptop, smartphone, komputer, dan/atau tablet yang dibutuhkan dalam menunjang pembelajaran online. (2) Adanya dampak dari kebijakan pembelajaran online pada kemampuan komunikasi anak usia dini yaitu kurangnya interaksi anak dengan orang dewasa dan teman sebaya yang mengakibatkan kemampuan komunikasi anak tidak berkembang dengan optimal. (3) pembelajaran online mendorong munculnya perilaku sosial distancing sehingga kurangnya intensitas komunikasi anak dengan teman sebaya, guru dan orang dewasa disekitarnya. Hal tersebut juga mempengaruhi anak dalam segi emosional anak yang mengakibatkan menurunkan motivasi belajar anak selama pembelajaran daring.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Online, Anak Usia Dini, Kemampuan Komunikasi.

Abstract

Purpose: This research is to instill awareness in students at Muslimat 01 Jatipuro Kindergarten about environmental cleanliness, to provide lessons on waste management and to establish a waste bank that is expected to create a healthy and clean environment. In addition, the existence of this waste bank is intended to encourage students’ creative learning by utilizing waste. Methodology: This research is descriptive qualitative with a case study at TK Muslimat 01 Jatisobo, Jatipuro, Karanganyar. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a descriptive method to obtain a clearer and more detailed picture of the situation based on collected data, which were then classified and interpreted to analyze existing problems. Results: The results showed that the implementation of a character-building strategy through the waste bank management program successfully supported character cultivation for early childhood. Applications/Originality/Value: This research is that waste bank programs can be developed as an educational model for early childhood institutions to instill environmental awareness, promote healthy habits, and stimulate creativity by making students actively involved in managing waste sustainably.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to educate young children on environmental conservation and foster green behaviors by introducing a video‐ based instructional session that raises awareness of maintaining a clean, balanced ecosystem and instills a sense of responsibility toward protecting the planet. Methodology: Using a qualitative case‐study approach, the research was conducted at Kindergarten Firdausy Sukoharjo. Data were gathered through classroom observations of the video session, semi‑structured interviews with teachers and children, and review of students’ post‑viewing reflections and creative activities designed to gauge their understanding and attitudes. Results: Following the video intervention, children demonstrated noticeably greater interest in environmental topics: they accurately identified ways to keep their surroundings clean, articulated simple conservation practices (e.g., waste separation, water saving), and willingly participated in group activities—such as planting seeds and picking up litter—reflecting a budding proactive stance toward green behavior. Applications/Originality/Value: By leveraging age‑appropriate video content, this study provides an effective model for early‑childhood educators to integrate environmental education into daily routines. Its findings offer practical guidance on designing multimedia lessons that cultivate sustainable attitudes from an early age, contributing to the broader field of ethnoscience‐informed pedagogy and supporting the development of lifelong eco‑responsible citizens.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explain how digital media can be used to foster environmental‑care attitudes in preschool children at Firdausy Kindergarten and to identify the key factors that influence the success of such initiatives. Methodology: A qualitative case‑study approach was adopted, involving systematic collection of classroom photographs and direct observations of learning activities that leveraged interactive games and videos. Semi‑structured interviews were conducted with kindergarten leaders and teachers engaged in the project, and relevant documents (lesson plans, activity logs) were reviewed. Data analysis followed three phases—data reduction, data visualization, and inferential synthesis—to surface themes related to media use and program efficacy. Results: Findings indicate that incorporating digital media—specifically interactive environmental games and educational videos— significantly heightened children’s understanding of why and how to protect their surroundings. Moreover, the project’s success was bolstered by strong parental involvement, which extended learning beyond the classroom, and by carefully curated, high‑quality teaching materials that complemented the digital content. Applications/Originality/Value: By demonstrating a replicable model for integrating digital tools into early‑childhood environmental education, this research provides actionable insights for curriculum developers and preschool educators. Its emphasis on stakeholder engagement (parents and teachers) and media quality offers a holistic framework for designing future programs that not only engage young learners but also build sustainable eco‑responsibility from the earliest stages of schooling.

Abstract

Purpose: The lack of high-quality English textbooks has contributed to vocabulary de-ficiecies among kindergarteners. The survey resulted that children's learned languages might be forgotten after a few days. This study aimed to conduct a study to identify and assess the standard of English textbooks already in use as well as to created textbooks that should be used in Aisyiyah Kindergarten (TK Aisyiyah) in Surakarta. Methodology: In order to address this issue, design-based research (DBR) was used in this study. The development stage and the analysis stage of real-world problems were the two stages used in the research process. Results: The first findings indicated that there were benefits and drawbacks to the previously employed textbooks. The second stage of book production in-volved keeping the positive aspects of the first book, reducing or even get-ting rid of its negative aspects, adding bar-code, and researcher-initiated fea-tures. These components had been adjusted for the cognitive viewpoint. Of course, conversations and focus groups with instructors and academics, as well as expert reviews, went into creating this textbook prototype. Applications/Originality/Value: Following the discussion and focus group discussion (FGD), the textbook would be prepared for the Aisyiyah Kindergarten.

Abstract

Purpose: Early childhood has great potential to learn to care for the environment through early habituation and education. At this age, children are very easy to absorb information and form habits, so that the introduction of the concept of environ-mental love becomes important. Caring for the environment is an attitude and action that shows awareness and responsibility for the preservation of nature and ecosystems. Includes efforts to maintain cleanliness, reduce pollution, and pre-serve natural resources such as water, waters, and soil. The importance of envi-ronmental awareness is needed from an early age to form a generation that cares about nature and the surrounding environment. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of participatory activities for children aged 4-5 years in realizing environmental awareness, analyze the obstacles for children in implementing participatory activities for children aged 4-5 years in realizing environmental awareness, and describe efforts to overcome obstacles to partici-patory activities for children aged 4-5 years in realizing environmental awareness. Methodology: This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study at Firdausy Kin-dergarten Sukoharjo. Results: The results of this study are that this participatory activity instills environmental values from an early age as well as children's understanding of environmental concepts, Teachers also play an important role as consistent behavioral models to encourage children to imitate positive behavior related to the environment. Applications/Originality/Value: This research contributes to the development of early childhood education by emphasizing the importance of habituating environmentally responsible behavior through fun and interactive activities.findings highlighted the importance of teachers in detecting and sup-porting children who experienced verbal abuse, as well as the need for pa-rental education to reduce negative verbal abuse behaviors.

Abstract

Purpose: The objective of this study is to determine how game addiction and the school environment affect the emotional development of students at Karanganyar High School (SMA). The study seeks to understand the joint influence between internal (gaming addiction) and external (school environment) factors on emotional development, which may be more complex than the influence of either factor alone. Methodology: The research method used is a quantitative correlation approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 51 statements. The sample included 263 students from various high schools (SMA) across Karanganyar. Data analysis involved prerequisite tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity) and hypothesis testing using multiple regression, F-test, and coefficient of determination. Results: The study shows that game addiction (X1) has a positive and significant effect on emotional development, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 3.682 > t-table (1.969). Similarly, the school environment variable (X2) also has a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 14.911 > t-table (1.969). The F significance value is 0.000 < 0.05 and the Adjusted R Square value is 0.558, indicating that 55.8% of the variation in emotional development is explained by the two variables, while 44.2% is influenced by other factors. Findings reveal that online game addiction can hinder emotional intelligence (e.g., alexithymia), while a positive school environment (e.g., teacher support, extracurriculars) can foster emotional well-being. Applications/Originality/Value: This study provides a novel perspective by emphasizing the emotional impact of gaming addiction, rather than the commonly studied academic impacts. It highlights the school environment as either a protective or risk factor, offering practical insights for educational institutions to support students’ emotional development. This dual focus on internal and external influences adds depth to the understanding of emotional health among adolescents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengembangan dan implementasi buku ajar tematik bahasa Inggris yang diperkaya dengan kode QR untuk mendukung keterampilan pelafalan guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Surakarta, Indonesia. Banyak guru PAUD menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengucapkan kosakata bahasa Inggris dengan tepat. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada penyampaian model bahasa yang benar kepada anak didik. Buku ajar konvensional umumnya tidak menyediakan dukungan pelafalan yang terintegrasi, sehingga membatasi peluang guru untuk melakukan perbaikan pelafalannya secara mandiri. Untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut, dikembangkanlah buku ajar berbasis digital yang menyematkan tautan audio pelafalan melalui kode QR. Tujuan utama dari inovasi ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dampaknya terhadap kemampuan pelafalan dan kepercayaan diri guru dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris. Dengan menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan 26 guru TK dari sekolah-sekolah yang berafiliasi dengan Aisyiyah. Evaluasi efektivitas intervensi dilakukan melalui kombinasi pre-test, post-test, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sesi pelatihan tematik memperkenalkan fitur digital dalam buku ajar serta membimbing guru dalam latihan pelafalan dan penerapan di kelas. Data kuantitatif menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor post-test di seluruh kelompok guru, sementara data kualitatif mengungkap peningkatan kepercayaan diri, keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi dalam pembelajaran, dan pemodelan pelafalan yang lebih baik bagi anak. Penelitian ini mendukung integrasi alat digital sederhana seperti kode QR untuk memperkaya sumber belajar tradisional. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa media hibrida yang menggabungkan komponen cetak dan audio dapat memberdayakan guru dengan keterbatasan kemampuan bahasa Inggris untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengajarannya. Selain itu, buku ajar berbasis QR menawarkan solusi yang mudah diakses dan dapat ditingkatkan skalanya untuk memperkaya pembelajaran bahasa pada anak usia dini. Temuan ini mendorong penerapan inovasi serupa dalam program pelatihan guru serta merekomendasikan penelitian lanjutan mengenai dampak jangka panjang dari pembelajaran bahasa berbasis perangkat mobile dalam konteks PAUD.

Abstract

Salah satu indikator kompetensi profesional guru adalah mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menjawab tantangan zaman. Hal ini sangat sesuai dengan kompetensi guru abad 21 yaitu memiliki keterampilan dan literasi digital yang baik. Stimulasi literasi harus disesuaikan karakteristik dan kebutuhan anak. Metode yang dilakukan harus fun tidak membuat anak merasa terbebani serta memaksimalkan semua indera anak. Literasi merupakan jalan utama guna mencerdaskan dan menyejahterakan anak bangsa, mewujudkan sumber daya manusia unggul, mandiri, kreatif, kritis dan berdaya saing di era global. Salah satu karakter siswa generasi alpha yang menonjol adalah tech savvy. Anak sangat antusias dengan hal-hal berbau digital dan teknologi. Berdasarkan kenyataan yang ditemui banyak guru yang belum mampu mengintegrasikan terknologi dalam pembelajaran. Khalayak sasaran yang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru Pusat Kegiatan Gugus (PKG) Keraton Kartasura. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu dengan ceramah, diskusi dan pelatihan. Artikel kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dimuat dalam jurnal nasional bereputasi. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru dalam melakukan stimulasi literasi berbasis TIK, dan cara pandang baru yang lebih luas dan modern sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi tantangan global dalam dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat, namun terfokus pada edukasi berupa bimbingan belajar untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar di daerah Karang Anyar RT 05, Karang Anyar, Plupuh, Sragen. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini diawali dengan mengadakan sosialisasi kepada orang tua siswa melalui kelompok kecil. untuk menyampaikan informasi mengenai adanya kegiatan bimbingan belajar. Selalin itu juga kami memberi gambaran mengenai konsep orangtua dalam mendampingi anak ketika pembelajaran daring. Dalam pelaksanaannya bimbingan belajar dilakukan setiap hari mulai jam 09.00-11.00 WIB. Diikuti oleh dua belas siswa, yang terdiri dari tujuh siswa laki-laki dan lima siswa perempuan. Bertepat di Masjid Baiturrahim. Proses belajar sebelum adanya “bimbingan belajar” terkesan monoton dan siswa kurang memahami materi karena tidak adanya tempat bertanya dan praktik. Namun dengan adanya bimbingan belajar yang memanfaatkan media audio visual ini siswa menjadi lebih mudah memahami materi dan kembali aktif bertanya tidak monoton dengan cara belajar sebelum mengikuti bimbingan belajar ini. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemberian pengalaman pada siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran. Pentingnya pengabdian ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya membantu orang tua dalam mendampingi proses pembelajaran siswa dan sebagai fasilitator siswa dalam membantu siswa memahami materi.
