Abstract

Purpose: The lack of high-quality English textbooks has contributed to vocabulary de-ficiecies among kindergarteners. The survey resulted that children's learned languages might be forgotten after a few days. This study aimed to conduct a study to identify and assess the standard of English textbooks already in use as well as to created textbooks that should be used in Aisyiyah Kindergarten (TK Aisyiyah) in Surakarta. Methodology: In order to address this issue, design-based research (DBR) was used in this study. The development stage and the analysis stage of real-world problems were the two stages used in the research process. Results: The first findings indicated that there were benefits and drawbacks to the previously employed textbooks. The second stage of book production in-volved keeping the positive aspects of the first book, reducing or even get-ting rid of its negative aspects, adding bar-code, and researcher-initiated fea-tures. These components had been adjusted for the cognitive viewpoint. Of course, conversations and focus groups with instructors and academics, as well as expert reviews, went into creating this textbook prototype. Applications/Originality/Value: Following the discussion and focus group discussion (FGD), the textbook would be prepared for the Aisyiyah Kindergarten.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam pengasuhan anak memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung pendidikan karakter anak. Dengan bimbingan yang benar, teknologi digital dapat menjadi sarana untuk meningkatkan kreativitas, pemikiran kritis, dan kemampuan beradaptasi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi orang tua dalam implementasi digital parenting serta strategi mengatasi tantangan digital parenting. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian case study (studi kasus). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kepanjen. Jumlah responden adalah 10 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data model interaktif Milles & Huberman, yang terdiri dari yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tantangan penerapan digital parenting adalah pengaturan waktu, tantangan keamanan online mempengaruhi stabilitas dan kelancaran penggunaan internet, keseimbangan, keselamatan dan keamanan, perundungan siber (cyberbullying), aspek hak cipta dan plagiarisme. Strategi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah pendidikan digital, keterlibatan dan pengawasan orang tua, dan mendorong interaksi sosial

Abstract

Thailand dan Indonesia menjalin hubungan dekat sejak lama, terbukti dengan hubungan diplomatik resmi pada 1950 dan keanggotaan keduanya dalam ASEAN. Meskipun muslim merupakan minoritas di Thailand (15%), diaspora muslim mengalami beberapa tantangan dalam melaksanakan ibadah sebagai individu yang memeluk agama islam. Selanjutnya Diaspora Indonesia tersebar dengan berbagai aktivitas terutama yang bekerja di perusahaan multinasional atau sebagai mahasiswa, menghadapi jadwal kerja yang panjang, dari 08.00 hingga 18.00. Hal ini menyulitkan mereka untuk menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental. Pemerintah Indonesia, melalui KBRI Thailand, mendirikan Sekolah Indonesia Bangkok (SIB) untuk memberikan pendidikan berkualitas kepada diaspora. Namun, implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SIB, terutama di tingkat PAUD, masih menghadapi kendala karena sosialisasi yang kurang masif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, program pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan metode pendekatan yang mencakup keagamaan, kesehatan, dan pendidikan sesuai kebutuhan. Upaya ini bertujuan memberikan solusi konkret untuk mendukung kesejahteraan fisik dan mental diaspora, termasuk implementasi yang lebih efektif dari kurikulum merdeka di SIB. Dengan demikian, program ini menjadi langkah konkret pemerintah dalam mendukung diaspora Indonesia di Thailand.

Abstract

Learning difficulties that many students experience are learning concentration, management of learning materials, storage of learning outcomes, and exploration of stored learning outcomes. With digital literacy, it can increase student independence in finding solutions to problems that arise during learning using various digital sources. However, this is a problem for teachers of the digital immigrant generation because of the large difference in the generation gap. The output targets are (1) research reports on teachers' efforts to instill digital literacy for early childhood, (2) research articles published in the journal "Cakrawala Dini" accredited national journal Sinta 3. This research is a qualitative research with a case study type. The object of this research is the digital immigrant generation teacher at Aisyiyah Kartasura Kindergarten. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. While testing the validity of the data includes: internal validity, external validity, reliability, and objectivity. Data obtained by in-depth interviews can be analyzed by open-coding.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve cognitive development in children aged 4-5 years in general and specifically to improve the symbolic thinking abilities of children aged 4-5 years through flashcard media. The samples that researchers observed in this research were children in group A of TK Aisyiyah Mutiara Hati Surakarta and TK Aisiyah III Surakarta.The samples of this research comprised 26 children consisting of 13 boys and 13 girls. This research was classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s model consists of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research used data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques applied descriptive analytics. The research results showed an increase in the ability to think symbolically by using flashcard media for two cycles, which fell into the Very Well Developed (Berkembang Sangat Baik/BSB) category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of learning media in the form of flashcard media could improve symbolic thinking abilities in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi dalam keefektifan perkembangan motorik halus pada anak dengan jenis RnD atau Reserach and Development menggunakan model Borg and Gall, teknik anallisis data diperoleh data hasil validasi instrumen berupa data deskriptif oleh para ahli, yitu ahli media, ahli materi dan user. Hasil ini adalah media busy book mendapatkan penilaian dari ahli materi yang menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik menunjukkan presentase 82%. Skor oleh ahli media dengan kriteria sangat baik  dengan presentase 92%. Uji coba lapangan produk media busy book diujikan kepada 8 peserta didik ant class (Kelompok A) dan direspon oleh guru kelas serta pendidik sebagai user di TK Ceria Demangan Yogyakarta, hasil dari tahap uji coba menunjukkan 50% anak didik mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Baik” dan 50% anak didik mendapatkan kategori “Baik”. Kesimpulannya adalah media bermain busy book layak digunakan

Abstract

Alat Permainan Edukatif berbasis STEAM dan Loose Parts merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan stimulasi kepada anak untuk memiliki pola pikir dan skills abad 21. Namun, realitas menunjukkan bahwa para guru di TK Mancasan masih perlu kegiatan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan implementasi media STEAM dan Loose Parts. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pembekalan dan pendampingan. Pembekalan berupa penyampaian materi yang mengenalkan APE berbasis STEAM dan Loose Parts. Selanjutnya peserta mempraktikkan pembuatan APE kemudian dipresentasikan. Hasil karya berupa APE Berbasis STEAM dan Loose Parts dan diberi apresiasi. Melalui pendampingan ini para guru TK Mancasan memiliki wawasan dan keterampilan untuk membuat sebuah APE

Abstract

Abstrak Stunting pada anak usia dini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, khususnya adalah pengetahuan dan wawasan pada elemen yang terlibat pada proses tumbuh kembang anak usia dini. Anak yang mengalami stunting beresiko rentan terhadap penyakit ketika beranjak dewasa. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mengimplementasikan kelas tumbuh kembang dan perilaku bagi guru dan siswa PAUD serta implementasi kelas komunikasi tumbuh kembang bagi guru dan orang tua anaj dengan gangguan stunting. Berdasarkan data PPS tahun 2022 prevalensi stunting di Indonesia mengalami penurunan 2,8% sehingga menjadi 21,6%. Kondisi ini akan memberikan gambaran usaha yang ekstra dan komprehensif untuk mencapai target 14% pada tahun 2024. Angka stunting di desa Mancasan merupakan yang tertinggi dari 20 desa yang memiliki prevalensi stunting di wilayah kabupaten Sukoharjo provinsi jawa tengah yaitu 71 kasus. Metode pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terdiri dari beberapa proses yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, dan terakhir keberlanjutan program. Total partisipan yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 32 orang yang terdiri dari guru PAUD, kader posyandu, dan wali murid TK Desa Mancasan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat juga menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 34,40% belum memahami secara komprehensif berkaitan dengan stunting. Oleh sebab itu, pelatihan gerai stimulasi tumbuh kembang dilaksanakan secara sistematis dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang sudah disusun dalam upaya menuju Indonesia Emas 2045. Kata kunci: stunting; tumbuh kembang; pendidikan; playground Abstract Stunting in early childhood is caused by several factors, especially knowledge and insight into the elements involved in the growth and development process of early childhood. Children who experience stunting are at risk of being susceptible to disease when they grow up. The purpose of this community service activity is to implement growth and development and behavior classes for PAUD teachers and students and to implement growth and development communication classes for teachers and parents of children with stunting disorders. Based on PPS data in 2022, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia decreased by 2.8% to 21.6%. This condition will provide an overview of extra and comprehensive efforts to achieve the target of 14% in 2024. The stunting rate in Mancasan village is the highest of the 20 villages that have a prevalence of stunting in the Sukoharjo district, Central Java province, namely 71 cases. The activity method for this community service consists of several processes, namely socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring and evaluation, and finally poverty programs. The total number of participants who took part in this community service activity was 32 people consisting of PAUD teachers, posyandu cadres, and parents of TK Desa Mancasan students. The results of community service also showed that 34.40% did not have a comprehensive understanding of stunting. Therefore, the growth and development stimulation booth training was carried out systematically by utilizing the technology that had been prepared in an effort towards Indonesia Emas 2045.Keywords: stunting; growth and development; education; playgrounds

Abstract

This study analyses the management of child friendly facilities and infrastructure in inclusive early childhood education. The research uses a qualitative approach, data were collected through observations of school activities and interviews with principals, teachers, and parents. The purpose of this study is to analyse the management of green school facilities in inclusive early childhood education and to identify the problems and impacts related to their implementation for children with special needs. This study uses a qualitative approach to understand in depth the management of environmentally friendly school facilities for children with special needs in inclusive early childhood education. Collecting data by observation, interview. Data analysis techniques are triangulated data and literature review. The study analyses inclusive facility management requires not only physical adaptation but also an infrastructure, supporting facilities, tools and learning media, tools, Infrastructure management, parent participation management and technology.Inclusive and eco-friendly early childhood education. Good infrastructure, supportive facilities, engaging learning tools, strong management, active parents, and smart use of technology. Classrooms should be more than just accessible they need to be green, safe, and friendly for every child’s growth. Facilities like quiet rooms, sensory spaces, and adaptive playgrounds are not luxuries but essentials for learning and healing. Teachers also need the right training to use assistive tech and eco-friendly resources effectively, while parents play a key role as partners in shaping schools. Inclusive education offers a fresh framework that supports global goals for quality education and sustainable communities.

Abstract

Parenting has a central role in shaping early childhood character and behavior. In a modern social context characterized by high mobility and economic pressure, many parents unknowingly apply a permissive parenting style that emphasizes children's freedom rather than controlling behavior. This condition raises new problems in the form of a decline in children's ability to regulate emotions and obey social rules. Although a number of previous studies have discussed the relationship between parenting and child development, there are still limited studies that examine the emotional and social dimensions of permissive parenting in children aged 4-5 years directly in the context of families and early childhood education institutions—suggesting that there is a research gap that needs to be bridged.This study aims to describe the real practice of implementing permissive parenting and analyze its influence on the social-emotional behavior of children aged 4-5 years. The research method uses a qualitative approach of the type of case study. Participants consisted of 12 people (4 parents, 4 early childhood teachers, and 4 children) who were selected purposively based on direct involvement in parenting interactions. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and field documentation, using semi-structured interview guides and child behavior observation sheets as the main instruments. Data analysis was carried out with the interactive model Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing that took place simultaneously.The results of the study show that permissive parenting often arises due to emotional factors (fear of disappointing children) and social factors (busy work, economic pressure, and "inbearable" culture). Children who are raised permissively tend to be confident and expressive, but experience obstacles in emotional control, obedience to rules, and social cooperation. These findings confirm that permissive parenting has a dual impact: it strengthens children's emotional freedom but weakens self-discipline and regulation. Therefore, this study recommends synergy between parents and PAUD institutions in balancing affection and discipline to support children's social-emotional development optimally.
