Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar biologi menggunakan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi berbasis android dengan media video pembelajaran pada peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Aikmel. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperiment, penelitian ini menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Aikmel yang memprogramkan mata pelajaran biologi. Kelas XI yang memprogramkan mata pelajaran biologi terdiri atas kelas XI F1,kelas XI F2, kelas XI F3 dan kelas XI F6. Masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 36 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling sehingga terpilih kelas XI FI sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas XI F2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa soal tes pilihan ganda pada materi system pencernaan pada manusia yang telah diuji validasi dan reliabilitas. Nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu 52,3 dan kelas ekperimen 2 yaitu 61,7. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) yaitu 0.000 < 0.05. Kesimpulan uji hipotesis adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar biologi menggunakan media pembelajaran 3D berbasi android dengan media video pembelajaran pada peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Aikmel.

Abstract

Curcumin, a hydrophobic polyphenol, derived from turmeric, has numerous pharmacological activities, including hepatoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and anticarcinogenic. However, the therapeutic efficacy of curcumin is limited due to its poor oral bioavailability and high susceptibility to degradation. The poor oral bioavailability of curcumin has been attributed to its poor aqueous solubility and extensive first past metabolism. Curcumin dissolves in alkaline conditions but it is highly unstable undergoing rapid hydrolytic degradation in neutral or alkaline condition. To solve these problems, liposome-based encapsulation technology is applied to improve the bioavailability of curcumin. The existing method to prepare curcumin-liposome, thin-film method, is complex and usually required the use of organic solvents. In this study, pH-driven method, an organic solvent-free and easily encapsulation technique utilizing the pH-dependent solubility of curcumin was proposed to improve the stability and bioavailability. Curcumin-liposomes were prepared using phospholipon 90 H and soya lecithin as phospholipid sources. The characterizations of curcumin-liposomes include particle size, microstructure, encapsulation efficiency, infrared spectra, salt stability and storage stability. The particle size measured was 77.85 ± 0.39 nm. It was found that curcumin-liposomes prepared by the pH-driven method was stable during storage for 30 days and gave encapsulation efficiency of 60.71 ± 0.20%, higher as compared to the ones prepared by thin-film method. In conclusion, pH-driven is a promising method for the preparation of curcumin-liposomes to enhance stability and encapsulation efficiency

Abstract

Hiperuresemia prevalence tends to increase in society. A combined extract of Uncaria gambir (gambir) and Caesalinia sappan (secang), had been proven to reduce blood uric acid level in vivo. This study aimed to evaluate the subchronic toxicity of this combination in male and female Sprague Dawley rat strain. Animals were randomly grouped into four groups, namely, DOSE-1 (75 mg/kg bw), DOSE-2 (300 mg/kg bw), DOSE-3 (1200 mg/kg bw) and control group gavaged with carrier. The tested sample was given for 7 weeks orally. The result of blood biochemical parameters were not different significantly compared to control (p> 0.05), as well as the results of hematology analysis. However, the NEUT level of female of DOSIS-2 showed lower and significantly different compared to control (p 0,05). Furthermore, this dose did not influence feed intake and body weight of animals in each sex. From this study, it could be concluded that the combination administrated at the dose of 75 mg/kg bw for 7 consecutive weeks did not affect blood biochemistry and hematology and also organ histopathology of kidney, liver, heart, small intestine, and stomach

Abstract

The Ammatoa Community in Kajang is an indigenous group that continues to uphold their customs and culture in the present time. The culture and practices they follow are thought to have the capacity to mitigate the occurrence of stunting in children. In the context of postpartum and breastfeeding care, a range of activities are implemented to guarantee the highest level of nutrition for both mothers and infants. Hence, the cultural aspect of this group also serves as a contributing component in endeavors to reduce the prevalence of stunting. The purpose of this study is to delve into the culture of care for postpartum and breastfeeding mothers in the Ammatoa indigenous community, with the aim of supporting the prevention of stunting. This study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing in-depth interviews as the means of data gathering. The informants were selected using the snowball sampling approach in Benteng Hamlet, Tanah Toa Village, Community District, Bulukumba Regency. The study identified two interventions for women experiencing postpartum and breastfeeding. Initially, hemorrhage prophylaxis was implemented by administering rappo leaves to postpartum mother on the day following delivery, subsequently followed by cleansing the perineum with water. A heated concoction blended with desiccated banana leaves for the purpose of treating perineal lesions. Moreover, the practice of applying lambere susu leaves on postpartum breasts serves to enhance and expedite the breastfeeding mothers’ lactation process. The findings indicate that the cultural practices of caring for postpartum women and promoting breastfeeding within the Ammatoa Community indigenous community have a positive impact on the health of both mothers and infants, hence contributing to the prevention of stunting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 2A di SDN Pakis 1 Surabaya pada materi bangun datar matematika, yang memiliki hasil belajar rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu flash dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi bangun datar. Media kartu flashcard membantu siswa lebih memahami konsep bentuk datar dan meningkatkan kemampuan mereka untuk menyelesaikan masalah bentuk datar. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 54,17% pada kegiatan pra-siklus, menjadi 79,17% pada Siklus I, dan akhirnya mencapai 88% pada Siklus II. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu flash dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun datar.

Abstract

Food is one of the crucial factors for the survival of birds. The interaction between habitats and birds, as well as the role of birds as environmental bioindicators, can be understood through feeding guilds by examining their responses to disturbances. This study aims to analyze the feeding guilds of bird communities on Pasoso Island. The data collection method used was the strip transect method. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis based on bird species composition according to their guilds. The results of this study show that 33 bird species were found on Pasoso Island, classified into 10 types of feeding guilds. Based on the number of species, the insect-eating guild had the highest number (9 species) compared to other guild categories. The coastal invertebrate-eating guild and raptor guild had the fewest species, with only one species recorded in each. Regarding the number of individuals, the insect-eating guild dominated with 42 individuals, followed by the fruit-eating guild with 29 individuals. On average, the fewest individuals were found in the coastal invertebrate-eating and raptor guilds, with only one individual in each.

Abstract

Lingkungan satuan pendidikan merupakan bagian penting terbentuknya generasi penerus bangsa. Namunkondisi lingkungan satuan pendidikan kini sangat mengkhawatirkan akibat tingginya kasus kekerasan yangterjadi. Merespon hal tersebut, dalam upaya perlindungan anak, pemerintah melalui Permendikbudristek No.46 Tahun 2023 mengeluarkan salah satu kebjiakan baru untuk menegaskan pentingnya pencegahan danpenanganan kekerasan di lingkungan satuan pendidikan. Dengan masih seumur jagung implementasikebijakan ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam implementasinya, sehingga dibutuhkan strategi agarimplementasi kebijakan dapat memberikan perlindungan bagi anak di lingkungan satuan pendidikan. Faktorkunci dari kebutuhan, kendala, program dan koordinasi stakeholder harus diidentifikasi untuk Menyusunstrategi agar implementasi kebijakan dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Untuk itu kajian ini telah mengidentifikasifaktor kunci tersebut dari pendapat regulator, praktisi dan akademisi sehingga dapat menghasilkan strategiimplementasi kebijakan pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan di lingkungan satuan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the hotel and restaurant tax revenue before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Karanganyar District. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. It utilizes both primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques involve interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study is conducted at the Karanganyar District Regional Finance Agency to gather information regarding hotel and restaurant tax revenue, and it involves several key informants from hotel and restaurant businesses selected using purposive sampling method. The results of this research indicate that: (1) the number of hotels and restaurants generally increased from the year before to during the pandemic, (2) hotel and restaurant tax revenue experienced a significant growth overall, (3) the procedures for hotel and restaurant tax collection were implemented appropriately and operated smoothly, and (4) the efforts of the local government to enhance hotel and restaurant tax revenue were fairly successful.

Abstract

Background: Financial risk disclosure is crucial due to the broad-ranging consequences that may arise from inadequate disclosure, with the role and capabilities of a company's top management being essential in addressing this issue. This study examines the impact of CEO insiders with prior experience as CFOs on the quality of financial risk disclosure (FRDQ) in Indonesia. Methods: Using OLS regression analysis, the study analyzes data from non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2010 to 2020. To enhance the reliability of the results, robustness tests are conducted using the Heckman Two-Stage model and Coarsened Exact Matching (CEM). Findings: The findings indicate that CEOs who previously served as CFOs within the same company contribute to improved FRDQ. Additionally, several sub-sample analyses were included to explore other supporting factors in strengthening FRDQ. Conclusion: This study concludes that a CFO background provides a deeper understanding of the company's financial condition, thereby enhancing financial risk disclosure. Novelty/Originality of this article: The study specifically investigates the impact of CEO insiders with CFO backgrounds on financial risk disclosure quality in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends in the field of Sustainability Accounting published in the Scopus database between 2015 and 2024. The method used is bibliometric analysis with the help of VOSViewer software. Of the total 406 articles found, 63 articles relevant to this topic were selected based on certain criteria, reducing the number of remaining articles by 84.5%. The results of the analysis using Overlay Visualization (Co-occurrence) show that sustainability accounting is the center of research that is closely related to sustainability reporting, environmental accounting, and sustainability management. The development of research from 2015 to 2024 began with a focus on basic concepts, then shifted to sustainability integration and deepened on climate change issues and carbon accounting. Network Visualization reveals the close relationship between concepts with the formation of certain topic clusters. Density Visualization shows that the main topics have been widely studied, while carbon disclosure and circular economy are still in the exploration stage. Limitations of this study include the reliance on data from Scopus which may not cover all relevant publications, and the selected timeframe (2015-2024) which may limit understanding of long-term trends. Future research is recommended to explore topics such as gas emissions and climate risk disclosures as they relate to environmental risk management and sustainability implementation, especially in developing countries.
