Abstract

This research raises the phenomenon that occurs among teachers and students, especially MAS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak students with several problems that occur, namely regarding teachers' efforts to improve the quality of learning and learning motivation through classroom management. This type of research is qualitative, descriptive in nature. Data sources were obtained from primary data (directly) through in-depth observations, interviews at MAS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak through a combination of techniques. The data analysis technique used was using the Miles and Humberman theory. The research results show that in implementing classroom management, teachers have skills in formulating and designing learning plans to improve the quality of learning and strive to achieve the school's vision and mission, so that teachers are able to organize classes and master various classroom management strategies that suit students and teachers are able to vary learning methodologies that are active, innovative, creative and fun. In this way, teachers are able to carry out monitoring and evaluation of learning as feedback in teaching and learning activities. Success in implementing classroom management in improving the quality of learning is marked by an increase in motivation in student learning outcomes in the classroom.

Abstract

This article mainly focuses on implementing Islamic Classroom Management and Teacher Performance. This study aimed to determine how Islamic classroom management and teacher performance affect student learning achievement. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Ex Post Facto method. The data from the variables are measured using measurement rules and the process of quantifying the rating scale model. The results of the research show that if Islamic classroom management increases. Subsequently, student learning achievement will also increase, and while teacher performance decreases, learning achievement will also decrease. Therefore, the research results on Islamic classroom management are variables, and teacher performance variables have a mutual influence (simultaneously) on student learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relevance of Jamal Al-Banna's Islamic Legal Thought with Religious Moderation in Indonesia. This research is a doctrinal Islamic legal research using historical approach method (content analysis). The primary data source of this research is Jamal al-Banna's own work, namely Nahwa Fiqh Jadîd and the book Religious Moderation written by the Balitbang Team of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. This research is also supported by secondary sources in the form of works related to the topic of study. The result of this research is that the Relevance of Jamal Al-Banna's Islamic Legal Thought with Religious Moderation in Indonesia. textually there are 2 (two), namely: justice and tolerance. As for substantially there are also 2 (two), namely: the value of the principle of "convenience" is the same as tawassuṭ and compassion is the same as the principle of equality (musawah/egalitarian).

Abstract

Religious education is one of the important issues because the religious education provided in schools does not bring good multicultural education to life, and even tends to be the opposite. As a result, social conflicts are often hardened by the religious legitimacy taught in religious education in schools in conflict-prone areas. This makes conflicts that have roots in fundamental religious beliefs so that social conflict and violence are increasingly difficult to overcome, because it is understood as a religious calling. The roots of various social conflicts that result in prolonged anarchy are often problems that have nothing to do with religion, but in reality religion has always been an inseparable part of various social conflicts. The potential for conflict and disintegration is because religion in its manifestation is ambivalent towards unity and integrity, meaning that although religion has the power to unite it also has the power to divide.

Abstract

This research departs from the challenges of modernization that increasingly affect the moral and spiritual values of the younger generation, including in the context of Islamic education. Many young people experience an identity crisis and moral decline due to the influence of globalization and social media. The purpose of this study is to examine the relevance of the tahfidz al-Qur'an program in shaping the Qur'anic morals of students at the Sulaimaniyah Islamic Boarding School in Medan, as a response to these challenges. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the tahfidz program in this pesantren is effective in shaping Qur'anic morals through strategies that include exemplary ustaz, character-based assessment, habituation to worship, and strengthening the values of piety and istiqamah. However, challenges arise both from internal factors, such as the pressure of memorization targets, and external, in the form of the influence of modernization and technology. The implication of this study is the importance of a comprehensive approach in the management of tahfidz program, focusing on character development, moral resilience, and wise use of technology in supporting tahfidz education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi guru PAI dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik, dalam hal ini guru PAI menjadi tenaga professionalnya. Tujuannya ialah untuk menganalisis strategi apa saja yang digunakan guru PAI dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru bidang studi Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan guru PAI dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa sudah sangat baik, bukan hanya fokus pada kecerdasan siswa tetapi juga pada karakternya. Beberapa strategi pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru PAI dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dan juga membangun karakter dalam diri siswa yaitu: 1) Pembiasaan bulan karakter, kejujuran dan tolong menolong, 2) Program harian wudhu dari rumah, dan 3) Program Basoar (Bacaan shalat beserta arti).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of legal protection for children as victims of domestic violence in Lau Gumba Village and to determine the obstacles faced in providing protection for children as victims of domestic violence. This research was conducted at the Berastagi District Police and the Berastagi District Prosecutor's Office using technical observation or direct observation and interviews, namely by communicating directly through interviews with several Berastagi District Police legal officers and other informants as well as distributing questionnaires to prosecutors at the Berastagi District Prosecutor's Office. In relation to the legal protection of children which has been stipulated in Law Number 23 of 2002 jo Unbdang - Law Number 35 of 2014 and Law Number 13 of 2006 concerning the protection of witnesses and victims which is the basis of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia as a rule that guarantees legal protection towards children who are victims of domestic violence. The author will provide an overview of the forms of legal protection for children who are victims of domestic violence in Lu Gumba Village which are not optimal from the perspective of Law Number 23 of 2002. The obstacles faced in providing legal protection for children as victims of violence in the household, namely: traditional constraints, psychological constraints of children and the constraints of ignorance of the children themselves and society. Abstract

Inheritance is a sensitive issue that often leads to disputes and conflicts within families. In some cultures, sons are often considered to have greater rights to inheritance than daughters. This research aims to evaluate the process of teaching inheritance fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) in the madrasah, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the methods employed in the teaching process. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The research findings indicate that the process of teaching inheritance fiqh at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Tarbiah Islamiyah faces several challenges, including a lack of conceptual understanding, The research findings also highlight insufficient utilization of diverse teaching methods, as well as inadequate learning resources. Based on the analysis, it is recommended to enhance conceptual understanding through a more practical approach, implement innovative teaching methods, and provide comprehensive and up-to-date learning resources. It is hoped that this research will contribute positively to the development of inheritance fiqh teaching in the madrasah.

Abstract

Menuntut ilmu merupakan kewajiban tiap muslim laki-laki dan perempuan. Ini bukan merupakan doktrin agama semata, melainkan telah dipraktikkan jauh ketika Islam sempurna turun di atas dunia. Dengan menelusuri sejarah dunia Islam, kita dapat mengetahui bahwa banyak sahabat dan ulama di masa lalu yang telah mempraktikkannya.Salah satu tradisi dalam menuntut ilmu dikenal dengan istilah rihlah ‘ilmiyah. Dalam tulisan ini akan dibahas tentang pengertian rihlah ‘ilmiah dan faktor yang mendorong perkembangannya, praktik rihlah ‘ilmiah dengan mengemukakan beberapa sampel ulama baik dari luar maupun dalam nusantara, serta bagaimana peranan rihlah ‘ilmiah dalam dunia intelektual. Rihlah ilmiah dimaknai sebagai setiap perjalanan yang bertujuan untuk menuntut ilmu, mencari tempat belajar yang baik, mencari guru yang lebih otoratif, atau juga perjalanan seorang ilmuwan ke berbagai tempat, baik secara formal untuk melakukan aktivitas akademik maupun tidak.Praktik rihlah ilmiah ini di antaranya dilatarbelakangi oleh perintah agama, tersebarnya para ulama, bantuan dan fasilitas yang luar biasa dari pemerintah, dan lain sebagainya. Adapun fungsi rihlah ilmiah dalam dunia intelektual, yaitu: sebagai usaha untuk mencari guru yang baik, sebagai sebuah cara untuk memperluas wawasan, sebagai modus penyebaran ilmu pengetahuan serta sebagai perajut kesatuan peradaban Islam.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to explore the phenomenon of declining moral values among students at Muhammadiyah 06 Junior High School in Medan through the perspective of Islamic education. The investigation addresses the pressing issue arising from globalization and rapid technological advancement, which introduce external values that often conflict with local cultural and religious principles. In this context, adolescents in the formative stage of identity development become particularly susceptible to behaviors that deviate from moral and ethical norms. Methodology: A qualitative descriptive-analytical approach was employed. The subjects consisted of students, teachers, homeroom teachers, and the principal, all directly involved in the learning process and behavior supervision. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, including school rules and student violation records. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model of reduction, presentation, and conclusion, with validity ensured through source and method triangulation. Main Findings: The study identified two major findings. First, moral decline is evident in disrespect toward teachers, increased bullying, academic dishonesty, and misuse of social media, which reflects Durkheim’s concept of anomie. Second, Islamic education functions as a moral bulwark through congregational prayer, Qur’anic recitation, moral lessons, and teacher role modeling. These practices enhance students’ self-control and spiritual awareness, supported by QS. Al-‘Ankabut (29:45). Novelty/Originality of this study: The study demonstrates that synergy between religious education, teacher exemplarity, and parental involvement is an effective model for preventing adolescent moral decline while strengthening Islamic identity in the era of globalization.
