Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Organizational resilience is increasingly recognized as a key capability for healthcare systems to manage workforce challenges and safety risks. However, its simultaneous influence on turnover intention, workplace accidents, and psychological safety remains underexplored. Objective: This study aimed to examine the influence of organizational resilience on turnover intention, workplace accidents, and psychological safety among healthcare workers in hospital settings. Methods: A cross-sectional analytical study was conducted among 258 healthcare workers, including nurses, doctors, medical support staff, and administrative personnel, using cluster sampling. Organizational resilience was measured using a modified Organizational Resilience Questionnaire focusing on planning and adaptive capacity domains. Turnover intention, workplace accidents, and psychological safety were assessed using validated instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: The mean score of organizational resilience was 3.78 ± 0.54. Organizational resilience showed a significant negative correlation with turnover intention (r = -0.512, p < 0.001) and workplace accidents (r = -0.389, p < 0.001), indicating that higher resilience was associated with lower intention to leave and fewer occupational incidents. In contrast, organizational resilience demonstrated a positive correlation with psychological safety (r = 0.559, p < 0.001), reflecting a stronger perception of a safe work environment. Among the outcomes, psychological safety showed the strongest association, followed by turnover intention and workplace accidents. Conclusion: Organizational resilience plays a critical role in reducing turnover intention and workplace accidents while enhancing psychological safety, highlighting its importance in strengthening workforce sustainability and healthcare quality.

Abstract

View of life is a set of values which affects the entire life system of its adherents. One of the views of life among Demak and Kudus communities is the relationship between rituals conducted around the tomb and ukhrawi (eschatological) piety. Hence, these eschatological values are considered sacred, which are generated through activities and rituals integrated with Javanese culture and are held around the tomb. The tomb of Wali in Java coincide with the mosque and rituals outside the two epicenter are considered as worldly (profane) affairs. These various forms of ritual are part of Islamic shari’a embodiment of Demak and Kudus communities. For instance, the series of Grebeg Besar rituals are centered at Demak Great Mosque and Buka Luwur are centered at Menara Kudus Moque and Sunan Muria Mosque. Other forms of ritual are making pilgrimage to the tomb of Wali who are considered to have karamah and meditation through praying around the tomb to get blessings. By using the technique of grounded research, the socio-anthropological approach, this study succeeded in describing the implementation of Islamic shari’a in society which was formed from the life perspective of religious propragators (kiai). This study aims to reveal how the community’s views are formed which are manifested in the form of activities and rituals they believe to be a way of religion that will lead to the happiness of the ukhrawi life. The factors influencing the outlook on life and their characteristics are also the object of this study.

Abstract

Objective: Comprehensive researches regarding the effect of the component of brand equity on Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) and purchase intention are lacking. This study provides an integrated analysis of those variables on SMMA and purchase intention. Furthermore, this study expands the concept of SMMA by means of incorporating advertisement and perceived risk analyses to the concept. Methods: This study employs an explanatory research design. The research utilizes a cross-sectional data approach. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire survey using a Likert scale for measurement. The study population consists of all inpatients who meet the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling across various inpatient room categories, including Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, VIP, Suite Room, and President Suite. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. Results: This study found the following: SMMA had a significant effect on brand equity with r square value 0,656, p <0.05 and purchase intention with r square value 0.631, p<0.05. Brand equity neither significantly affected purchase intention with r square value 0.003, p = 0.528 nor mediated SMMA and purchase intention p=0.544. Conclusion: Respondent characteristics have a significant influence on the variables examined. Consequently, social media marketing can be considered to have a stronger impact on respondents' decision-making compared to brand equity in the context of a hospital. Brand equity is not able to serve as a mediating variable between SMMA and Purchase Intention.
