Abstract

Traders at the Padang Baru traditional market, were found to be conducting trading activities that deviated from the principles of Islamic business ethics.This study aims to determine the understanding and implementation of Islamic business ethics among small and medium traders in the traditional market of Padang Baru, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency. This research is field research with a qualitative. The data sources for this study are primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubberman model, which consists of three methods, namely data collection, reduction, and verification. The results of the study show that small and medium-sized traders in the traditional market of Padang Baru, do not know Islamic business ethics in theory. In practice, most traders in the Padang Baru traditional market do not deviate from Islamic law in their trading activities. However, there are still traders who engage in practices that are not in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics. For example, there is a lack of transparency towards buyers, and buyers are prioritized over prayer times. This shows the importance of Islamic business ethics knowledge in raising awareness of trading practices that are in line with sharia values.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase awaren ess and participation among coastal communities in preserving coral reef and mangrove ecosystems. Coastal ecosystems play an esse ntial role in maintaining environmental balance, supporting commun ity livelihoods, and protecting coastal areas from erosion and climate ch ange impacts. However, destructive fishing practices and uncontrol led mangrove logging still pose major threats to this region. The program involved socialization, environmental education, mangrove planting training, coral reef conservation mentoring, and ongoing co mmunity monitoring. Conducted over three months, the activities eng aged local fishermen, community leaders, women’s groups, & studen ts. Results show an 85% increase in community understanding of the importance of coastal ecosystems and the establishment of the “Saha bat Pesisir Lolibu” conservation group committed to sustainab le coa stal management. This activity demonstrates that participatory educa tion & mentoring can effectively enhance ecological awareness and promote long-term preservation of coastal resources.

Abstract

The financial literacy and entrepreneurship improvement program for fishermen in Benteng Village, Lasalimu District, Buton Regency aims to enhance fishermen’s household financial managem ent skills and promote economic independence through productive, lo cally based enterprises. The main problems faced by fishermen include a lack of understanding of financial planning and record-kee ping, unstable seasonal income management, and limited entrepreneu rial skills to diversify income sources. The program was implemented through counseling, training, and continuous mentoring that actively involved the fishing community. The training materials covered basic financial management, saving and investment strategies, and access to formal and informal financial institutions. The results indicated a significant increase in participants’ understanding of financial mana gement, along with rising motivation to start small businesses such as seafood processing & local trade. Overall, the program successfully improved financial awareness, strengthened entrepreneurial, & contr ibuted to sustainable economic welfare among coastal communities.

Abstract

AbstractThis article describes the capacity and performance achievements of UIN Alauddin post-status change. This study uses qualitative methods with the data obtained through indepth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of this study shows that the capacity and performance of UIN Alauddin has increased, both from the interest and expectations of society and improved governance of institutional organizations, personnel, increasingly competitive infrastructure, increasingly proportional fnancing, learning, cooperation, and community service. Nevertheless, there are still a number of weaknesses and challenges, such as the process of institutional transformation is not working properly in terms of integration and interconnection of science, limited publication of research results through national and international journals.  AbstrakArtikel ini mendeskripsikan tentang kapasitas dan capaian kinerja uIN Alauddin pasca alihstatus. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, sumber data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil studi ini menemukan bahwa, kapasitas serta kinerja uIN Alauddin mengalami peningkatan, baik dari animo dan ekspektasi masyarakat. Selain itu, semakin membaiknya tata kelola organisasi kelembagaan, ketenagaan, infrastruktur yang semakin kompetitif, pembiayaan yang semakin proporsional, pembelajaran, kerjasama, dan pengkhidmatan pada masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat sejumlah kelemahan dan tantangan, misalnya proses transformasi institusional belum berjalan sebagaimana semestinya dalam hal intergrasi dan interkoneksi keilmuan, masih terbatasnya publikasi hasilhasil penelitian melalui jurnal nasional maupuninternasional.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam perspektif hadis. Dalam dunia pendidikan, guru perlu mengetahui bagaimana menggunakan media dalam proses belajar mengajar yang terkini dan tepat bagi siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif, tulisan ini mencoba mendeskripsikan penerapan metode pembelajaran dalam penggunaan media dalam perspektif hadis. Dalam pembahasan tersebut ditemukan beberapa hadits dengan menggunakan metode Pencarian hadits (takhrij al-hadits) yang mana takhrij hadist merupakan kegiatan yang sangat penting dalam kajian hadits yang berkaitan dengan pokok bahasan takhrijul hadits. Ada beberapa hadis rasulullah yang sangat berkitan dengan penggunaan media. Misalnya penggunaan media berbasis manusia, media visual dan media nyata. Setelah membaca artikel ini, semoga guru termotivasi untuk menggunakan lingkungan pembelajaran dengan baik dan tepat sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan baik.

Abstract

In the past five years, the Religious Harmony Index in North Kalimantan Province has shown a consistently high level of achievement, remaining above the national average. In 2021, the index recorded a score of 75.63, surpassing the national average of 72.39. This study seeks to explore the key factors behind this sustained harmony, focusing on how social, cultural, and institutional dynamics contribute to the province’s strong interreligious relations. Employing a qualitative research approach, the study was conducted in Tarakan City—a heterogeneous urban setting considered representative for examining the drivers of religious harmony in the region. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. The findings reveal that one of the primary factors contributing to the high Religious Harmony Index in Tarakan is the active role of the Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) or the Interfaith Harmony Forum. Through consistent dialogue and coordination among religious leaders, FKUB plays a strategic role in maintaining social cohesion and resolving emerging issues at the grassroots level before they escalate publicly. The forum also identifies potential sources of intolerance and applies cultural approaches in mediating community conflicts, such as disputes related to the establishment of houses of worship. Another significant factor is the preservation of local wisdom among the Tidung ethnic community, particularly the values embodied in tenguyun—a tradition that emphasizes cooperation, mutual assistance, and communal solidarity. These cultural principles extend to environmental stewardship, reflected in the Tidung people’s moral responsibility to protect natural ecosystems such as mangrove forests. Overall, this study underscores that cultural communication and local wisdom function as vital socio-cultural capital that reinforce institutional efforts to sustain religious harmony. These findings highlight the importance of integrating local cultural values into broader peacebuilding frameworks to strengthen interfaith relations in plural societies .

Abstract

Accountability for managing village funds is an obligation for the village government. Problems that occur in the management of village funds are related to the competence of the village apparatus, organizational commitment, and targets. This study aims to determine the effect of village apparatus competence, organizational commitment, targets for accountability in village fund management in Batauga Sub-district Village. This study collected data using a questionnaire with a sample of 30 people. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression which was processed using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the competence of the village apparatus and the target of excellence have a significant and positive effect on the accountability of village fund management. Meanwhile, organizational commitment has no significant effect on the accountability of village fund management. In addition, the adjusted R square value is 0.248 or 24.3%, which means the ability of the independent variable to explain the variable is only 24.3% and 75.7% is explained by other variables

Abstract

Pine is a type of plant that can grow in various environmental conditions and soil contours. Pine plants can even grow on steep land contours, such as ravines or mountains. This study aims to identify and describe the morphological characteristics of male and female strobilus in Pinus sp. which is in the Tahura Pocut Merah Intan area, Aceh Besar. The research was carried out using an observational approach through direct observation of the strobilus morphology found at the research location. Samples of male and female strobilus were collected and analyzed to identify differences in shape, size and morphological structure of the two. The results showed that the male strobilus has a smaller shape with slimmer scales and a greenish yellow color, while the female strobilus is larger with wider scales and a reddish color. Other differences can be seen in the position and number of scales on each strobilus, as well as the distribution of pollination in the two types of strobilus. This research provides a deeper understanding of the morphological differences between male and female strobilus in Pinus sp. which is important to support conservation efforts and management of natural resources in the Tahura Pocut Merah Intan area, Aceh BesarKeywords: Morphology, male strobilus, female strobilus, Pinus sp., Tahura Pocut Meurah Intan.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the question of what strategies are used in developing women's microbusinesses in Sabungan, North Sumatera to improve family economic well-being. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, document studies, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the strategy for developing women's microbusinesses in Sabungan plays an important role in improving family economic welfare by developing the market in terms of products and sales systems as well as developing networks. The use of technology and Islamic financial institutions also plays an important role in increasing access to capital and profits. By implementing this strategy, microbusiness actors can increase competitiveness, expand market access, and improve family economics so that they become more prosperous. An effective assistance strategy to improve knowledge and management skills is through regular assistance programs such as basic financial recording training and support from financial institutions or cooperatives, accompanied by monitoring and evaluation. With the right assistance strategy, Sabungan entrepreneurs strengthen the competitiveness of women's businesses and contribute to improving the economic welfare of families.

Abstract

This research analyzes the effectiveness of Office Operating Costs (BoP) allocation at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Sidenreng Rappang Regency, South Sulawesi. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, this study focuses on budget management, financial planning, funding allocation effectiveness, and identification of implementation barriers. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and direct observation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that BoP allocation effectiveness still faces significant challenges, including limited employee participation in the budget planning process, disproportionate fund allocation relative to operational needs, and disbursement delays that impede public service continuity. The main inhibiting factors include minimal management transparency, limited human resource competencies in financial administration, and policy inconsistencies causing budget instability. This research recommends reforms to the fund disbursement system, increased budget transparency, and human resource capacity development to enhance BoP management effectiveness and optimize KUA services in Sidenreng Rappang Regency.
