Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of students' perceptions regarding online learning via lentera, as well as the learning motivation of students majoring in mathematics education, and to find out whether there is an effect of student perceptions regarding online learning via lentera on students' learning motivation majoring in mathematics education. This type of research is ex-post facto. The population in this study were students of the Mathematics Education Department of UIN Alauddin Makassar class 2018, 2019, and 2020 with a total of 251 students and a sample of 154 students. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires and documentation. The analytical technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using a simple linear regression formula. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of student perceptions regarding online learning via lentera on the learning motivation of students majoring in mathematics education. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive statistics for student perceptions related to online learning via lantern (X), the average score of 54.02 is in the medium category, while for the learning motivation of students majoring in mathematics education (Y) an average value of 48.47 is obtained are in the medium category.

Abstract

Abstract:Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LPKD) can help students understand the concept of material, both theoretically and in real events that often occur in everyday life. This study tries to determine the development process and quality of LKPD to improve students' understanding the concepts of algebra. The development research used refers to the Plomps model, which includes 4 phases: (a) the initial investigation, (b) the design, (c) the realization, and (d) the test, evaluation, and revision. The product assessment instrument used was the LKPD validation sheet, the LKPD observance sheet, student and teacher response questionnaires, student and teacher activity observation sheets, and tests of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The LKPD that was designed and tested on grade VII students at one of the schools in Soppeng had met the criteria of being valid, effective, and practical.Abstrak:Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LPKD) berbasis masalah dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep materi, baik secara teori maupun dalam peristiwa nyata yang sering terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini mencoba mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kualitas LKPD matematika berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep aljabar peserta didik. Penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan Plomp, yang meliputi 4 fase, yaitu: (a) fase investigasi awal, (b) fase desain, (c) fase realisasi, dan (d) fase tes, evaluasi, dan revisi. Instrumen penilaian produk yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi LKPD, lembar pengamatan keterlaksaan LKPD, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik dan guru, dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. LKPD yang didesain dan diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas VII di salah satu sekolah di Soppeng telah memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif dan praktis.

Abstract

Abstract:This study developed a mathematics learning tool based on the RME approach on the STAD arrangement on the subject of valid, practical, and effective on linear equations of two variables in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. The type of research used was Research Research and Development (R & D) with the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan that is defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The test subjects were the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, learning outcome tests, observation sheets of teachers' ability to manage learning, student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaires on student books and LKPD, and observation sheets learning Media. The results of the learning test stated that: 1) valid, with the results of validation in the form of RPP, student books, and LKPD are in a very valid category. 2) practical, with observations of the implementation of learning devices in the category being fully implemented. 3) effective, with learning test results showing 84% of students have complete grades, average learning management is on high criteria, student activities are in good category, student responses to student books and LKPD are positive.Abstrak:Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis pendekatan RME setting kooperatif tipe STAD pada pokok bahasan persamaan linear dua variabel yang valid, praktis, dan efektif di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research dan Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek ujicoba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli, tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas Peserta Didik, angket respon Peserta Didik terhadap buku Peserta Didik dan LKPD, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil ujicoba perangkat pembelajaran menyatakan bahwa: 1) valid, dengan hasil validasi berupa RPP, buku Peserta Didik dan LKPD berada pada kategori sangat valid. 2) praktis, dengan hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori terlaksana seluruhnya. 3) efektif, dengan tes hasil belajar menunjukkan 84% Peserta Didik memiliki nilai tuntas, rata-rata pengelolaan pembelajaran berada pada kriteria tinggi, ativitas Peserta Didik dalam kategori baik, respons Peserta Didik terhadap buku Peserta Didik dan LKPD positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Meta-Analisis yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh Media Simulasi E-Learning PhET terhadap hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran fisika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Meta Analisis, dengan populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah artikel ilmiah yang telah dipublikasikan melalui google scholar, berskala nasional membahas Media Simulasi E-Learning PhET terhadap hasil belajar fisika, pada tahun 2016-2022. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) Penerapan media simulasi E-Learning PhET pada jenjang pendidikan diperoleh nilai effect size pada jenjang SMP lebih tinggi dibanding jenjang pendidikan SMA, 2) Penerapan media simulasi E-Learning PhET diperoleh nilai effect size jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding true eksperimen 3) Penerapan media simulasi E-Learning PhET terhadap hasil belajar memiliki efek tertinggi pada materi suhu dan kalor.

Abstract

Problem posing is a problem-posing-based learning approach to train students' reasoning power and critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine whether the use of a problem posing learning approach is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes. in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This research is a quasi-experimental research design using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar consisting of 165 students while the samples were students of class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA3 as the control class, each consisting of 33 students. The instrument used in this study was a test of student learning outcomes, in the form of pretest and posttest. The analytical technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The research results show that the problem posing learning approach is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI science students. SMA Negeri 11 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of learning media that were developed to improve student learning outcomes in flat shape material. The trial phase was carried out 2 times, namely first, a limited trial that was tested on 10 randomly selected class VII.B students and a field trial was tested in the actual class, namely class VII.A with a total of 20 students. The research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model with five stages, namely: (1) Analysis stage, (2) Design stage, (3) Development stage, (4) ) Implementation stage (Implementation) and (5) Evaluation stage (Evaluation). The product developed is in the form of learning media for snakes and ladders integrated with Islamic values ​​which contain flat shape material. The test subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke. Based on the results of the study, it was found that, (1) Validity, the average validation results for the media and all research instruments was 85.6%, which means that the media and instruments are in the very valid category, (2) Practical, the average of all aspects of the practicality of the media is 92% is in the very good category, (3) the average of all aspects of effectiveness is 89.9% is in the very good category, so that the development of snakes and ladders learning media has met the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to find out the process of developing an e-module for elementary linear algebra courses based on a flip book maker that integrates Islamic values. (2) to determine the characteristics of the e-module. (3) to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of e-modules. The type of research used is Research and Development concerning the Plomp development model which consists of 5 stages. The product developed is an e-module course on elementary linear algebra based on a flip book maker. The test subjects in this study were second-semester students at UIN Alauddin Makassar, in the academic year 2021/2022. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, lecturer response questionnaires, observation sheets on the ability of lecturers to manage to learn, learning implementation observation sheets, student response questionnaires, student activity sheets, and learning achievement tests. Based on the trial results, it was found that (1) the product development process referred to as the Plomp development model was not fully implemented until the implementation stage due to time constraints, (2) the characteristics of the e-module are digitally designed with the flip book maker application which can be accessed using Android or Android. laptop, load learning videos, load examples of contextual questions integrated with Islamic values, and presentation of material using a scientific approach, (3) e-modules are categorized as valid with an average validity of 4.25, declared practical because all aspects are fully implemented, and declared effective because the level of completeness reached 96.3%.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis bagi peserta didik sangat penting diperhatikan agar mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan upaya agar pendekatan agar meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta dididk pada kelas VII di SMP Wahyu Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Wahyu Makassar yang terdiri dari 5 kelas, dengan penyebaran yang homogen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengolahan data dan analisis data adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistk inferensial yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis uji sample t test. Setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kedua kelompok dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta dididk pada kelas VII di SMP Wahyu Makassar. Sehingga memberikan kontribusi pada sekolah tersebut terkait pendekatan-pendekatan pembelajaran yang mampu menfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematical critical thinking skills by applying the guided discovery learning method to class VII MTs. Aisyiyah Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research using a research design, namely The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VII MTs. Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Gowa Regency totaled 143 people with the sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was an essay test to determine students' critical thinking skills in mathematics. The analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average critical thinking ability of students using the guided discovery learning method reached the very high category, while those without using the guided discovery learning method reached the moderate category. Furthermore, the results of the inferential analysis using the t test show that there is a significant difference between the mathematical critical thinking skills of students who apply the guided discovery learning method and those who do not apply the guided discovery learning method.
