Abstract

Mathematics learning integrated with Islamic values needs to be carried out to provide opportunities for students to study various sciences in one scope. Many Islamic schools (madrasah) still need to be taught by integrating mathematics and Islam. This study aims to introduce Islamic integrated mathematical modelling through Model Eliciting Activities based learning. The research method used was qualitative, with a literature review. This research used the Model Eliciting Activities, which guides learning integrated Islamic mathematics. Thus, educaters can apply the learning steps in class and can develop this research more broadly.

Abstract

Fuzzy TOPSIS as a decision support system is a mathematical method with the best alternative concept chosen not only to have the shortest distance to the positive ideal solution, but also to have the longest distance to the negative ideal solution. The use of Fuzzy TOPSIS as a decision support system can minimize the weaknesses that exist in the TOPSIS method. The purpose of this study is to apply the Fuzzy TOPSIS method as a Decision Support System (SPK) to determine outstanding employees at the Batu City Population and Civil Registration Office. The Human Resources (HR) Division has the task of validating the value and processing the value of employee work goals and work behavior using the Fuzzy TOPSIS implementing into recommendations for outstanding employees. Data processing is carried out fuzzy, while calculations are carried out by the TOPSIS method. The output of this calculation is in the form of ranking the value of preferences and recommendations available for all employees. The calculation results obtained the highest preference value, namely by the first alternative with a value of 1. The alternative occupied a position as an outstanding employee at the Batu City Population and Civil Registration Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the concept of mathematics learning at the elementary school level. The focus of this study is how the concept of mathematics learning at the elementary school level. This study uses a qualitative approach through the method used is library research for data collection. Data collection is carried out through books and literacy resources related to the concept of mathematics learning in elementary schools. The main source of articles comes from various journals indexed on google scholar. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study is that children at the elementary school level are children in the age range of 7-12 years old and are in the concrete operational stage where in this concrete operational stage children can understand logical operations that are reversible and conservation

Abstract

Education is a component that is used as a reference for the progress of a nation. This research aims to examine teachers' creativity in learning mathematics to increase students' interest in learning. A teacher must have great creativity in the learning process so that students can be interested in learning mathematics. This research is qualitative that took place in MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, presenting it and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the creativity that an educator possesses is product creativity and person creativity. Product creativity in the mathematics learning process uses media in concrete ways that use real-life examples. The personal creativity that an educator possesses is that he or she has a good personality, is intelligent, has new ideas in the learning process, is friendly, is good at communicating and can dominate the class well. The learning process can also be enjoyable and comfortable for students to learn. This increases the interest of MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin students in learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the integration of Islamic values in mathematics learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. This study uses a library research method or library research, literature study is a research method that utilizes library sources as a source in research activities. The data collection technique used in this literature research is to look for data on matters or variables in the form of notes, books, papers, or articles and journals. After the data is collected, content analysis is carried out to get the right and accurate conclusion formulation. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found several discussions regarding the Definition of Integration of Islamic Values, Mathematics Learning, Principles of Knowledge Integration, Strategies for the Integration of Islamic Values in Mathematics Learning, and Integration of Islamic Values in Mathematics Learning. The conclusion of this study is that the integration of Islamic values in the mathematics learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah initially felt difficult to implement. Especially for mathematics subjects that have a lot to do with numbers, formulas, and geometric construction, it will feel easy to apply if we as educators always try to find gaps to instill Islamic religious values in classroom learning

Abstract

The objective of this research is to reveal the effect of government role and human resource competence on level of success of SMEs in East Java Province with business performance as mediation variable. Using quantitative research, causal relationship across variables is ensured through SEM-PLS method. Sampling technique is purposive random sampling with 130 SMEs used as sample. Data collection technique is using questionnaire. The results of research show that government role and human resource competence affect level of success of SMEs in East Java Province; and business performance is the mediation variable to the effect of government role and human resource competence on level of success of SMEs in East Java Province.

Abstract

Perkalian merupakan salah satu yang berpengaruh besar terhadap keterampilan siswa dalam memahami serta menangani masalah matematika yang lebih kompleks. Namun, secara berulang para murid menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami gagasan tentang perkalian, yang kemudian dapat berimbas pada pencapaian akademik mereka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam mengidentifikasi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika, khususnya dalam konteks perkalian, (2) mendeskripsikan tantangan utama yang dihadapi guru dalam mengajar perkalian di tingkat sekolah dasar; dan (3) mendeskripsikan strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika pada perkalian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap empat guru di SD Swasta Kecamatan Medan Marelan sebagai informan. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) strategi mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar siswa melalui tes diagnostik dan observasi interaksi, (2) tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam mengajar perkalian, termasuk kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep dasar, kurangnya minat dan motivasi belajar, (3) strategi pembelajaran efektif untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar, seperti pendekatan individual, pembelajaran kelompok dengan tutor sebaya, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, dan penataan posisi duduk siswa di kelas. Kesulitan belajarpun dapat teratasi dengan berbagai strategi yang dapat dilakukan guru seperti pendekatan individual, pembelajaran kelompok dengan tutor sebaya, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, dan penataan posisi duduk siswa di kelas yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep perkalian dengan lebih baik dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Salah satu jenis penalaran yang memegang peranan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah penalaran analogi. Salah satu manfaat yang diperoleh siswa ketika menggunakan penalaran analogi dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah meningkatnya kreativitas dalam menyelesaikan dan memecahkan masalah. Analogi dilakukan dengan mencari kemiripan penyelesaian dari dua masalah matematika. Oleh karena itu, penelitian yang berkaitan tentang profil penalaran analogi siswa sangat diperlukan untuk memperoleh deskripsi pada setiap tahap penalaran analogi yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan profil penalaran analogi siswa dalam memecahkan masalah trigonometri dengan adversity quotient sebagai peninjaunya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan enam siswa sebagai subjek. Enam siswa tersebut merupakan siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Purwosari yang memiliki 3 AQ berbeda dengan masing-masing 2 siswa pada setiap tipe. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tiga instrumen, yakni lembar angket ARP, lembar tes penalaran analogi, dan pedoman wawancara. Proses analisis data ini terdiri atas reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan profil penalaran analogi siswa pada setiap tipe AQ. Siswa climber dapat melakukan semua tahapan penalaran analogi yang disusun oleh Sternberg. Siswa camper dapat melakukan tahap encoding dan memenuhi satu indikator pada tahap inferring. Siswa quitter hanya dapat melakukan tahap encoding. Kata kunci: penalaran analogi, pemecahan masalah, adversity quotient Abstract: One type of reasoning that plays an important role in learning mathematics is analogical reasoning. One of the benefits that students gain when using analogical reasoning in learning mathematics is increased creativity in resolving and solving problems. Analogy is achieved by identifying similarities in the solutions of two mathematical problems. Therefore, research related to students' analogical reasoning profiles is very necessary to obtain descriptions of each stage of analogical reasoning carried out by students. The aim of this research is to describe students' analogical reasoning profiles in solving trigonometry problems with the adversity quotient as the observer. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with six students as subjects. The six students are class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Purwosari, each with three different AQs, with two students in each category. Data were collected using three instruments: the ARP questionnaire sheet, analogical reasoning test sheet, and interview guide. The data analysis process consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that there are differences in the analogical reasoning profiles of students in each type of AQ. Climber students can carry out all the stages of analogical reasoning as compiled by Sternberg. Camper students can carry out the encoding stage and fulfill one indicator at the inferring stage. Quitter students can only carry out the encoding stage. Keywords: analogical reasoning, problem solving, adversity quotient

Abstract

National education has the goal of shaping the morals of students who are truehearted and dedicated to God. As part of national education, Islamic-integrated mathematics learning becomes a bridge to achieve this goal. This study aims to explore the concept of mathematics in the hadith with the theme of the virtue of reciting shalawat. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods. Data were obtained from hadith books, hadith applications, articles, and relevant documents. The results showed that there are three mathematical concepts in the hadith related to the virtue of reciting shalawat. The mathematical concepts found include the concept of numbers (natural numbers, integers, positive integers, odd numbers, and even numbers), arithmetic operations (addition operations), and the concept of relations and functions (bijective functions). The results of this study can be used as a reference for learning resources related to Islamic integrated mathematics derived from hadith with the theme of the virtue of reading shalawat.

Abstract

Learning mathematics has become a polemic for some teachers considering the need for innovations to answer the challenges of the times. The development of the curriculum is a challenge for teachers in adjusting to the latest learning currents which are indirectly required to develop in planning and learning processes which often become a difficulty for teachers in self-development. The study aims to describe how the learning process leads to the difficulties of mathematics teachers in grade IV MI Sunan Giri Merjosari Lowokwaru Malang in detail. This research method uses qualitative with phenomenological types. Data and data sources were obtained from informants at the MI Sunan Giri Merjosari Lowokwaru Malang institution. The results of this study indicate that one of the difficulties experienced by teachers is in lesson planning, where the teacher has difficulty in allocating time, using learning resources and determining methods in adjusting learning material while in the learning process activities the teacher experiences a little difficulty in concentrating students while at the learning evaluation stage , the questions in the LKPD have not yet entered the realm of the Hots level. Difficulties come from several factors, one of which is the impact of curriculum changes, lack of training and lack of attention from the impact of curriculum changes, lack of training and lack of attention from the government. The difficulties experienced by teachers can be overcome in several ways, one of which is training, seminars, study tours where these methods are shortcuts to hone teacher competence.
