Abstract

Early adolescents need adaptation in various aspects including in the process of achievement of academic achievement. The difficulties encountered in achieving goals in the academic field caused early adolescents to develop a fear of failure. Individuals will try to avoid failure by determining their goals far below its potential, feel anxious, and not motivated in learning. This emotion can be a serious problem if it is not regulated in an adaptive way. Therefore early adolescents need knowledge of how to regulate the emotions of fear of failure. This study aims to validate the module "Gen Positif" (Generasi terampil mengolah emosi dan Aktif berprestasi) and find out how far the increase in knowledge and ability of emotional regulation of fear of failure in early adolescents. The study design used untreated control group designs with dependent pretest and posttest samples. Research participants as many as 12 early adolescents. The analysis of the study was conducted by comparing the scores of emotional regulation knowledge before and after manipulation was given. The results show that the module "Gen Positif" is valid content and empirical.

Abstract

Berdasar ada-tidaknya asumsi yang mendasari suatu uji statistik, terdapat dua jenis statistik inferensial, yaitu statistik parametrik dan statistik non-parametrik. Statistik non-parametrik atau statistik bebas sebaran (distribution free) sekalipun mudah untuk dimengerti dan relatif sederhana perhitungannya, namun ia memiliki test-power yang rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena statistik nonarametrik selain tidak menggunakan asumsi-asumsi yang mendasari, juga hanya dirancang untuk data nominal dan ordinal, yang diketahui tingkat kecermatannya lebih rendah dibandingkan data interval dan rasio. Harap dicatat bahwa apabila alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian dapat memperoleh data yang gejalanya interval atau rasio, jangan mengubah atau mengkonversikan data tersebut menjadi data nominal atau ordinal, karena hal itu akan menurunkan kecermatan kesimpulannya. Namun sebagai konsekuensinya peneliti harus menggunakan analisis data melalui statistik parametrik, yang didasari oleh asumsi-asumsi tertentu. Sehingga persoalan yang dapat muncul kemudian adalah, bagaimana kalau asumsi-asumsi tersebut tidak dapat dipenuhi atau dilanggar?

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan dan pengajaran di Indonesia lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan banyak negara, termasuk dengan negara-negara tetangga di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Selain itu, juga sering kita baca atau dengar berita-berita di media massa bahwa sarjana lulusan perguruan tinggi di dalam negeri tidak siap masuk pasar kerja dan kalah bersaing dengan sarjana lulusan luar negeri. Indikator lain rendahnya mutu pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia adalah semakin meningkatnya kecenderungan lulusan SLTA untuk melanjutkan kuliahnya di luar negeri. Di sisi lain, era globalisasi menuntut kualitas lulusan perguruan tinggi memiliki daya saing tinggi, karena kompetisi akan menjadi semakin ketat dalam memasuki pasar kerja di antara para sarjana, begitu “kran” pasar bebas dibuka.

Abstract

High work engagement can be supported by employees feeling happy and prosperous in the organization. Workplace well-being is important to have so that employees can exert their best performance to face all the demands in the work environment. Many studies have shown those job characteristics that are like job demands impact workers' well-being. This study aimed to determine whether there is an effect of job demands on work engagement with workplace well-being as a mediation. This study was conducted on 62 employees of X Publishers with a QRCP measuring instrument (21 items) to measure job demands, a workplace well-being scale (12 items) to measure workplace well-being, and a UWES measuring device (18 items) to measure work engagement. The data obtained were analyzed using the PROCESS by Hayes processed with SPSS for MacOS. The results indicated that job demands did not affect work engagement (p = 0.500). Workplace well-being was also proven not to mediate between job demands and work engagement (p = 0.508). Whereas workplace well-being has a very significant effect on work engagement (p = 0.000). Therefore workplace well-being is important to enhance work engagement of the employees

Abstract

Aktivitas mengakses media sosial dengan kurun waktu tertentu menjadi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh kebanyakan dewasa muda dan memiliki risiko serta manfaat terhadap psychological well-being. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan aktivitas pasif dan aktivitas aktif di media sosial dengan psychological well-being pada pengguna media sosial dewasa muda. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Partisipan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 186 orang yang terdiri dari 135 perempuan dan 51 laki-laki dengan rentang usia 19-27 tahun. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang tersebar di beberapa provinsi Indonesia. Alat ukur yang digunakan ialah adaptasi Ryff’s Scales of Psychological Well-Being dan kuesioner aktivitas di media sosial. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Rank Spearman dan diolah dengan IBM SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara aktvitas di media sosial baik aktif dan pasif dengan psychological well-being. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa durasi menonton dan membaca konten serta frekuensi posting konten di media sosial tidak memiliki hubungan dengan psychological well-being. Hiburan menjadi konten yang paling banyak di akses oleh pengguna baik untuk ditonton maupun dibaca. Sementara TikTok merupakan media sosial dengan durasi yang paling lama di akses oleh dewasa muda.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental support, attitudes towards mathematics, and mastery goal orientation on mathematics learning achievement with self-regulated learning as a mediator. The research method that the researcher uses is a structural model with a total of 327 respondents who were taken using cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is SEM AMOS. Based on the results of the model test, it is known that the influence of parental support, attitudes towards mathematics, and the orientation of mastery goals on mathematics learning achievement with self-regulated learning as a mediator, according to empirical data. Based on the results of statistical tests, it is known that parental support, attitudes towards mathematics lessons, and orientation of mastery goals have no effect on learning achievement in mathematics with self-regulated learning as a mediator

Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the role of self-regulated learning and student engagement in academic activities in math achievement. The research design used was a correlational survey. The subjects were students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Yogyakarta. The research sample was selected using a proportional stratified random sampling technique with 96 students. Math achievement was determined from students' daily evaluations, and data were collected using a self-regulated learning scale and a scale of student engagement in academic activities. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. According to the findings, self-regulated learning and student engagement in academic activities significantly predicted math achievement. Both self-regulated learning and student engagement in academic activities positively influenced math achievement. The combined contribution of self-regulated learning and student academic engagement to mathematics achievement was 37.1%. Self-regulated learning contributed more (17.39%) than academic engagement (19.77%) to mathematics achievement. This study recommends that students, teachers, and parents pay attention to self-regulated learning and student engagement factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran dukungan sosial dan regulasi emosi terhadap psychological well-being pada caregiver penyakit kronis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan 219 orang caregiver penyakit kronis di Provinsi DI Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian adalah purposive sampling dengan menggunakan kriteria- kriteria tertentu. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala psychological well-being, skala dukungan sosial, dan skala regulasi emosi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan program IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dukungan sosial dan regulasi emosi memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan terhadap psychological well-being, (2) dukungan sosial memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap psychological well-being dengan mengontrol variabel regulasi emosi, dan (3) regulasi emosi tidak memiliki peran terhadap psychological well-being. Dukungan sosial memiliki sumbangan efektif sebesar 3.6% terhadap psychological well being, sedangkan 96.4% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Perubahan yang terus menerus dalam dunia kerja menuntut karyawan untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat. Oleh karena itu, learning agility penting dimiliki oleh setiap karyawan, termasuk CPNS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self-efficacy dan work motivation, dengan aspek need for affiliation, need for achievement, dan need for power, terhadap learning agility pada CPNS di Provinsi NTB. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 109 CPNS yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari skala learning agility, skala self-efficacy, dan skala work motivation. Analisis regresi linier berganda digunakan dalam menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peran yang signifikan dari self-efficacy dan work motivation dengan aspek need for affiliation, achievement, dan power, terhadap learning agility pada CPNS. Ditemukan pula bahwa self-efficacy berperan positif dan signifikan terhadap learning agility, work motivation dengan aspek need for affiliation dan achievement tidak berperan terhadap learning agility, dan work motivation dengan aspek need for power berperan positif dan signifikan terhadap learning agility. Self-efficacy memiliki sumbangan efektif sebesar 13.1% terhadap learning agility, sedangkan work motivation aspek need for power sebesar 23.6%.

Abstract

The establishment of a boarding school health post aims to create a healthy behavior of residents and a healthy environment through increasing the knowledge and skills of students so that they are able to help themselves and others. Activities consist of preventing communicable or non-communicable diseases, improving health through habituation of physical activity, stress management, eating nutritious and balanced food, preventing and controlling health risks in the Islamic boarding school environment such as monitoring mosquito larvae, managing waste and waste properly, maintaining cleanliness of body, food and environment, etc.The implementation of community service was July 17th until Spetember 1st , 2022. Located in the Al a’tsar Islamic boarding school at Banyu Urip- Caturharjo, Pandak Bantul, This community service activity was assisted by 10 students, consisting of 2 students from undergraduate of the public health, 4 students from the psychology, 4 students from medical faculty. Exit strategy by collaboration with the Pandak 2 health center. The existence of the boarding school helath post is expected to motivate students and techers to be more independent in terms of disease prevention, helath improvement, simple treatment and post-treatment health recovery in health care facilities
