Abstract

The dangers and threats of radicalism are increasingly lurking in the younger generation today. An ideology created and formed by a group of people who want instant and drastic change by using violent means and in the name of religion even though it is against the law and religion. This is where the role of women is very strong in the lives of their children, especially in Minangkabau culture, women's position can be optimized in preventing radicalism. Researchers use qualitative research methods. Where researchers carefully and carefully examine an activity, be it an event, activity, process, or group of individuals in a predetermined time and area. The mother's role as a madrasah ula can be seen from the extraordinary intensity of time between the child and the mother. From the mother, children's education begins, learning something new in their life, learning to speak, gaining knowledge, and forging their personality in living their life. Optimizing the role of mothers can be done by collaborating with government programs such as marriage programs, marriage counseling, and holding mosque youth weddings, recitations for mothers, religious lectures, and pre-marital education. As well as incorporating parenting patterns into learning material.

Abstract

Our country is a country governed by law. From a legal perspective, in order to maintain order in Islamic society, marriages must be registered at the Office of Religious Affairs as stipulated in Article 2 paragraph (1) of Law No. 1 of 1974 and Article 4 of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The government provides a solution for unregistered marriages through the process of itsbath marriage. The provisions of the law that serve as the legal basis for the Religious Court to perform itsbath marriage are the explanation of Article 49 paragraph (2) point 22 of Law No. 7 of 1989 concerning Religious Courts and Article 7 paragraphs (2) and (3) letter d of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The results of the study show that isbat marriage is a request for marriage validation submitted to the Religious Court to declare the marriage valid so that it has legal force. The reasons for submitting itsbath marriage are contained in the Compilation of Islamic Law Article 7 paragraph (3), namely; the existence of a marriage in the context of settlement, the loss of a marriage certificate, a marriage that took place before the enactment of the Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974, or a marriage conducted by individuals who do not have any legal impediments to marriage under Law No. 1 of 1974. The persons entitled to apply for itsbat marriage are specified in Article 7(4) of the Compilation of Islamic Law, namely: the husband, wife, their children, and parties with an interest in the marriage. The urgency or purpose of itsbat marriage is to provide legal certainty for every marriage and to provide legal protection for the offspring of each couple. An application for itsbat marriage may be filed at the Religious Court in the place of residence of the couple seeking itsbat marriage.

Abstract

Islamic guidance and counseling are closely related to Islamic Religious Education subjects because both aim to shape students with Islamic character. This Islamic character is formed based on the values contained in the Quran and Hadith as the main guidelines in life. This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic character education, not only limited to Islamic Religious Education subjects, but also integrated into other subjects. This shows that Islamic character building can be carried out comprehensively through a cross-curricular approach. The results of the analysis show that effective Islamic counseling services will be maximized if supported by learning from other subjects. Each subject has the potential to instill Islamic values that can strengthen the character of students. Thus, an integrative approach between Islamic counseling and all subjects is necessary in shaping a well-rounded Muslim personality. The findings in this study can be used as preliminary data and a reference for future researchers to examine this issue in a broader context and setting.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency can be said to be a problem that never ends, as the years go by, the forms and levels of delinquency become more numerous. This is of course still an interesting issue to discuss. In connection with this, this research aims to discuss the forms of efforts made by parents in dealing with juvenile delinquency, as a form of realization of cooperation between parents and the school and the community in overcoming this problem. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from parents in Indonesia as key informants, and teenagers as supporting informants through in-depth interviews selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the analysis show that the forms of efforts made by parents are: Preventive actions, and efforts to prevent the emergence of juvenile delinquency. Parents make efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency from occurring by strengthening their children's faith, such as ordering them to pray and recite the Koran so that their children always remember Allah SWT. However, their teenage children do not carry it out because they are busy or lazy. Repressive measures, and efforts to crack down on violations of social and moral norms can be carried out by imposing punishments. At this repressive stage, parents only give punishments to children when they are at home. Curative and Rehabilitation Actions: These actions are taken after other preventive measures have been implemented and it is deemed necessary to change the offender's behavior by providing more education. Parents do not provide guidance so that their children do not make the same mistakes.

Abstract

Religious education, especially in learning the Qur'an, has a significant role in the spiritual and moral development of the younger generation. However, many students in various educational institutions, including the Qur'anic education center, face difficulty reading, writing, and memorizing the Qur'an properly. This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of the Yanbu'a method in the aspects of reading, writing, and memorizing the Qur'an in students. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving interviews, observations, and documentation studies for data collection. The results of the analysis show that the application of the Yanbu'a method has succeeded in significantly improving the ability of students to read, write, and memorize the Qur'an. Repetition and imitation are key in the learning process. However, there are obstacles to the mastery of the method by teachers and the writing ability of students in lower classes. The results of the study indicate the need for training for teachers in the Yanbu'a method to improve the effectiveness of teaching the Qur'an in similar educational institutions.

Meanwhile, the value of responsibility is manifested through active participation in learning activities, concern for the environment, and the fulfillment of entrusted duties. The character-building process is carried out through exemplary behavior, habituation, and continuous supervision by teachers. The supporting factors of character implementation consist of internal factors namely students’ motivation and self-awareness and external factors, including the role of teachers, family support, and the learning environment. These findings affirm that character education based on Islamic values plays a vital role in shaping a Qur’anic generation that is virtuous, disciplined, and responsible.nd policymakers in developing a more effective curriculum.

Abstract

Memorizing the Quran is a noble act that is loved by Allah SWT. This is because memorizing the Quran means that a person is trying to preserve the purity of the Quran. This cannot be separated from the efforts of a teacher in guiding their students to always memorize the Quran from an early age. It is the teacher's hard work that determines a student's success in memorizing the Quran. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by tahfizh teachers in improving their students' ability to memorize the Quran. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study are tahfizh teachers and students. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation methods. All interview results were analyzed thematically using the Miles & Hubberman Interactive Model Analysis technique, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the data analysis found that there were six strategies used by teachers to improve students' ability to memorize the Quran, namely: i) using various methods, such as talaqqi, tasmi', and takriri, ii) applying the ODOA (one day one ayat) method, iii) guiding students to routinely perform muraja'ah, iv) constantly motivating students to improve their Quran memorization, v) giving memorization assignments and punishments to students, vi) teachers correcting students' recitation. The results of this study can be used as preliminary data for subsequent researchers examining this issue in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

In the early days of the Quran's revelation, there were only two reasons why the companions memorized the Quran: sincere intentions for Allah and to preserve the purity of the Quran. However, today, there are various motivations for memorizing the Quran. The purpose of this study is to determine the motivations for memorizing the Quran among students at Quranic colleges in Indonesia. To achieve this research objective, the author used two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. In the first stage, the author employed a qualitative approach involving twenty participants who were interviewed in depth. The participants were selected using purposive sampling techniques from the 2019, 2020, and 2021 cohorts. The collected data were then analyzed thematically using NVivo. The results of the first stage of the study identified nine motivations for students to memorize the Quran. These findings became the basis for the author to conduct the second stage of research using a quantitative approach. The nine motivations for memorizing the Quran were used as instruments, compiled in a Likert scale format to collect data on students’ motivations. This was done to confirm the findings in the first stage of research. In the second stage, the author involved 250 participants from a total of 1,500 students at Quranic colleges in Indonesia. The collected data were then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. The results of the second stage showed consistency with the first stage. This study provides an overview of students’ motivations for memorizing the Quran at Quranic higher education institutions in Indonesia and shows that there has been a shift in the motives for memorization. Further studies need to revisit the issue of motivation in the context of restoring the purity of intention or making these nine motivations a reference for future research on Quran memorization.
