Abstract

Teachers need help creating learning media for English, resulting in low English learning outcomes. Based on this, this research aims to develop "Enjoylish Adventure" Learning Media Based on Construct 2 for English language learning for fourth-grade elementary schools. This type of research is designed using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research are learning media experts and learning content experts. The test subjects for this research were 25 students. The methods used to collect data are interviews, questionnaires, observations and tests. Data collection instruments use questionnaire sheets and test questions. Data analysis techniques use data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative, quantitative and inferential statistics. The results of the research, namely the assessment given by English language material experts, obtained a score of 94% (very valid) and learning media experts, namely 90% (very valid). The results of the teacher's response obtained a percentage score of 100% (very practical), and the student response was 87.9% (very practical). The t-test results show differences in student learning outcomes after using enjoylish adventure media. The results of the n-gain test also show that the small group got the high category and the large group got the sufficient category. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the "Enjoylish Adventure" Learning Media Based on Construct 2 is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengetahuan pendidikan Seni Anak Usia Dini merupakan merupakan salah satu bagian dari perkembangan kognitif. Melalui seni, anak-anak memiliki kesempatan untuk mengembangkan fantasi dan kreativitas dengan berbagai cara dan juga mereka akan belajar bagaimana mengekspresikan diri, minat, kemampuan, serta keterampilan mereka. Anak-anak dapat menuangkan gagasannya dalam berbagai karya seni. Melalui seni, otak kanan dan kiri anak dapat berkembang dengan baik. Rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam memahami pendidikan seni bagi anak usia dini, Berdasarkan pengamatan saya, seorang guru PAUD perlu memahani tentang pendidikan seni dalam hal ini seni musik menjadi yang di utamakan dalam pelatihan kali ini. Fakta yang ada di lapangan guru hanya memiliki sedikit pengetahuan mengenai pendidikan seni khususnya seni musik. Metode yang dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut: (1) pendekatan secara partisipatif dan dialogis, yaitu dengan cara menghubungi Ketua PAUD Saraswati terlebih dahulu. Setelah itu, guru-guru tersebut dikumpulkan dan diajak bermusyawarah dengan tim pelaksana. (2) metode pelaksanaan program meliputi tahap pendahuluan, sosialisasi, tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Hasil yang dicapai melalui pelatihan ini telah di sampaikan mengenai wawasan tentang pendidikan seni anak usia dini, dalam pelatihan kali ini di beri wawasan tentang Definisi-definisi seni dalam 3 kategori, yakni : teori mimesis, teori ekspresi, teori citarasa dan lain-lain. Luaran yang dihasilkan publikasi artikel pengabdian dalam jurnal ilmiah.Abstract: Early Childhood Art education knowledge is one part of cognitive development. Through art, children have the opportunity to develop fantasy and creativity in a variety of ways and also they will learn how to express themselves, their interests, abilities, as well as skills. Children can pour their ideas into various works of art. Through art, a child's right and left brain can develop properly. The low ability of teachers in understanding art education for early childhood, based on my observations, a PAUD teacher needs to understand art education in this case music art becomes the main one in training this time. The fact that in the field of teachers has little knowledge about art education, especially the art of music. The methods carried out are as follows: (1) participatory and dialogical approach, namely by contacting the Chairman of PAUD Saraswati first. After that, the teachers are gathered and invited to consult with the implementation team. (2) The methods of program implementation include the preliminary stage, socialization, and training implementation stage. The results achieved through this training have conveyed insights on early childhood art education, in this training gave insight into the definitions of art in 3 categories, namely: mimesis theory, expression theory, taste theory, and others. Externally produced the publication of devotional articles in scientific journals.

Abstract

The problem in learning fine arts is that it is considered as unimportant learning so that it has a low interest perspective. Students assume that fine arts is an extracurricular activity so that learning does not require more focus and is done casually.. Based on the Learning Outcomes (CP) set, fine arts learning at the basic education level examines the elements of rupa and design principles in the environment around students. This study aims to determine the learning interest of grade V elementary school students in learning fine arts. In addition, this study also aims to describe the factors that influence interest in learning fine arts. The method used in this research is a combination method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The instruments were observation, questionnaire, and interview. The subjects of this study were the homeroom teacher of grade V elementary school and 10 grade V students. Data collection on interest in learning fine arts learning was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires of interest in learning to grade V students and information on factors that influence interest in learning was obtained by observing and interviewing teachers. The results of this study indicate that based on indicators of student interest in learning fine arts obtained 66% with high indicators. Supported by the results of interviews that the high interest in learning fine arts learning is caused by the talents of students, teacher support in learning, and adequate facilities

Abstract

Purpose -This research aims to know the implementation of gamelan activities, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluate the impact of these activities in forming patriotic character in students at Fransiskus Elementary School, Sragen Regency. The background of this research is motivated by concerns over students' declining interest in regional arts and culture or local culture, as seen from the dominance of foreign cultures such as K-Pop among students. This research focuses on how karawitan activities can be an effective means of instilling patriotic values in students.Methodology –This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research sample consisted of fourth-grade students who participated in extracurricular kara witan activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.Findings –The results showed that the karawitan extracurricular positively contribute to instilling patriotic values such as pride in one's own culture, appreciation of traditional arts, and increasing a sense of togetherness and discipline. Supporting factors for this activity include adequate facilities and infrastructure, while the inhibiting factor is students are still inclined toward foreign cultures.Contribution – This study supports the development of local culture-based learning in elementary schools, by showing the effectiveness of karawitan extracurricular activities in instilling a sense of love for the homeland and strengthening the national identity of students.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the important things in classroom learning. Because this can determine the activeness and understanding of the material in students. However, conventional methods that are often used are considered less interesting for students and cause low student involvement in learning and understanding the material. This study aims to analyze the use of song-based learning media in improving students' understanding of learning materials. This research method is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The results of this study show that: 1) The application of innovative media of songs is effective in increasing students' understanding of learning materials. 2) Careful learning planning is the key to success in the application of song media in learning. 3) Supporting factors such as support from the school, teacher creativity, and student enthusiasm play an important role in learning. 4) There are several obstacles in the application of song media such as time limitations, differences in student learning styles, and lack of teacher training.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a local wisdom-based flipbook medium in music education to enhance the interest and literacy of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method employed was the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results showed that the developed flipbook successfully increased students' interest and literacy significantly. Pretest data indicated that the average interest score was 58.2, and the literacy score was 60.5. After implementing the flipbook medium, posttest results showed an increase, with the average interest score reaching 78.6 and the literacy score rising to 82.4. The instruments used in this study were tested for validity and reliability, showing that all items were valid and had high reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.89 for interest and 0.87 for literacy). These findings indicate that the local wisdom-based flipbook is effective in enhancing students' interest and literacy in music education. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi beragamnya hasil temuan pada penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah, beberapa studi menunjukkan hasil yang positif sedangkan studi lainnya kurang konklusif dan sebagian besar penelitian berfokus pada berbagai jentang pendidikan, sehingga diperlukan penelitian untuk memahami secara mendalam tentang model PBL pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren model PBL berdasarkan jenis metode penelitian, tahun penelitian, domain materi, klasifikasi kelas, dan hasil penelitian mengenai penerapan PBL yang dilakukan pada mata Pelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar dari tahun 2020-2024. Metodologi penelitian ini yaitu Systematic literatur review (SLR). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan PBL pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar selama periode 2020-2024 menunjukkan adanya tren dengan jenis metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif sebanyak 7 artikel, tahun 2020 dengan persentase 33% terjadi penelitian tertinggi, domain materi menunjukkan lima artikel fokus pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah, klasifikasi kelas penelitian PBL terbanyak dilakukan pada kelas 4 dan 5, dan terakhir  terdapat 14 penelitian menujukkan hasil penelitian yang berhasil, dan satu penelitian tidak menemukan perbedaan signifikan antara PBL dan model pembelajaran lain(belum berhasil). Secara keseluruhan, tren penelitian menunjukkan adanya konsensus bahwa PBL memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.Abstract:  This research is motivated by the diverse findings on the application of problem-based learning; some studies show positive results while other studies are less conclusive, and most of the research focuses on various ranges of education, so research is needed to understand in-depth the PBL model in elementary school students. This study aims to identify trends in PBL models based on the type of research method, year of research, material domain, class classification, and research results regarding the application of PBL conducted in mathematics subjects in elementary schools from 2020-2024. This research methodology is a Systematic literature review (SLR). The results showed that the application of PBL in mathematics learning in elementary schools during the period 2020-2024 showed a trend with the type of research method using a quantitative approach in as many as seven articles, the year 2020 with a percentage of 33% occurred the highest research, the material domain showed five articles focused on problem-solving skills, the classification of PBL research classes was primarily conducted in grades 4 and 5, and finally, 14 studies were showing successful research results. One study did not find significant differences between PBL and other learning models (unsuccessful). Overall, the research trends show a consensus that PBL has excellent potential to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Aplikasi TikTok dan perkembangan teknologi digital lainnya telah menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan modern, bukan hanya bagi orang dewasa namun juga bagi kalangan anak sekolah terlebih di kalangan anak usia sekolah dasar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh positif maupun negative dari penggunaan aplikasi TikTok terhadap perkembangan sosial-emosional anak usia sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan kajian pustaka yang menganalisis 25 artikel jurnal dari 2022-2024, ditemukan bahwa TikTok dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, kreativitas, serta keterampilan membuat konten menarik. Namun, penggunaan TikTok juga berisiko menimbulkan dampak negatif, seperti perilaku acuh terhadap lingkungan sekitar, penggunaan bahasa kasar, dan hilangnya rasa disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Fenomena ini menunjukkan perlunya pengawasan dan bimbingan yang seimbang dari orang tua dan pihak sekolah. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, anak-anak dapat memanfaatkan aplikasi TikTok secara optimal tanpa mengganggu perkembangan sosial-emosional mereka. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kolaborasi antara orang tua dan sekolah untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan media sosial di kalangan anak usia sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract concepts in learning materials often become a challenge for students in understanding the concepts of the material, such as the food chain material in IPAS learning. This research developed audiovisual media in the form of video clips of children's songs, which were developed using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, with the aim of increasing students' understanding as measured by increasing their learning outcomes. The stages of this research include needs analysis, media design, product development, implementation, and evaluation of media effectiveness. Children's song video clip media was proven suitable for use after going through a validity test with a score of 92.1% from material experts and 91.25% from media experts. The increase in learning outcomes is evidenced by the increase in pretest and posttest results, with an average of 73.57 to 84.29 in the small group and an average of 70.25 to 80.75 in the large group. A positive response was also obtained in this study, with a score of 97.5% from the teacher response questionnaire and 90.91% from the student response questionnaire. In addition, this study was considered successful because the t-test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) or significance value of 0.000 in both small and large groups, which means that the pretest and posttest were significant, because the significance value was less than 0.05, then in the N-Gain test, a value of 0.4170 was obtained in the small group and 0.3617 in the large group. Both scores indicate that the effectiveness of learning is in the medium category, because the N-Gain test value obtained in both small and large groups is in the range of 0.3-0.7. The results of this research conclude that the combination of audio media in the form of songs and visual media in the form of video clips can be a solution in overcoming low levels of understanding and improving learning outcomes in the learning process, especially for food chain material.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan kreativitas siswa yang terlihat dari kecenderungan enggan menyelesaikan tugas dengan alasan capek, tidak mmpu, dan mudah menyerah serta adanya keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik sehingga minat siswa menjadi kurang saat mengikuti pembelajaran seni rupa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas media biji-bijian dalam karya kolase sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan kreativitas seni rupa siswa kelas II SDN Kraton. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental). Desain yang diterapkan adalah one group pretest-posttest design, yakni memberikan tes awal dan tes akhir kepada satu kelompok siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan berupa penggunaan media biji-bijian dalam kegiatan kolase. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 28 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 66,07 pada pretest menjadi 78,00 pada posttest. Uji statistik Paired Samples t-Test menghasilkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 4,15 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Selain itu, perolehan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,35 menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kreativitas siswa berada dalam kategori sedang. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media biji-bijian dalam kolase efektif untuk mendorong peningkatan kreativitas seni rupa siswa pada tingkat sekolah dasar.
