Abstract

The current educational system in Indonesia embraces the 2013 curriculum along with the Independent Campus Learning Curriculum (MBKM), aimed at enhancing the quality of education in the country. This article explores the consequences of transitioning and evolving from the 2013 curriculum to an independent curriculum. The research employs a library study method, focusing on gathering data from various online sources. Both Indonesian and English serve as the primary languages for the collected data. Google Scholar emerges as the predominant online reference source. The findings reveal that the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum has impacted teachers by necessitating greater creativity and innovation in their teaching methods. Moreover, this curriculum demands in-depth understanding and training for educators. Crucially, both curricula share the overarching goal of elevating the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research delves into the complexities associated with the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia and scrutinizes the repercussions of transitioning from the 2013 Curriculum (K13) to the Independent Curriculum within the educational landscape. Employing a literature review methodology, the study synthesizes insights from diverse literature sources. The findings unveil a spectrum of challenges, encompassing hurdles in effective implementation, the preparedness of educators and students, evaluation of the curriculum's impact on educational quality, as well as its broader social and cultural implications. Despite these challenges, the research identifies positive outcomes, such as a notable surge in student creativity and heightened preparedness for the demands of the professional sphere. This comprehensive exploration contributes nuanced perspectives to the ongoing discourse on curriculum dynamics and their multifaceted influence on the educational paradigm in Indonesia.

Abstract

In an era of globalization that is increasingly curbing local cultural diversity, this article raises the issue of the importance of developing a culture-based curriculum for elementary school level. This approach aims to align education with local identity, revive students' sense of pride and understanding of their cultural heritage, and promote cultural diversity in the teaching and learning process. In the midst of the challenges of globalization which has the impact of cultural homogenization, a culture-based curriculum is the only strong bulwark to defend and maintain the cultural roots of a nation. This article reviews the background, principles, benefits, and steps for implementing a culture-based curriculum for elementary schools, while also discussing challenges that may arise and solutions that can be implemented. In conclusion, education that reflects local identity through a culture-based curriculum is a leading step in preserving cultural heritage, supporting student development, and creating a more inclusive society.

Abstract

Kurang memadainya hasil pembelajaran seni materi iklan pada siswa kelas VI SDN Pagerbarang 03 menjadi pendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI dengan penerapan blog sebagai media pembelajaran seni pada konten iklan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis data kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian, lima siswa atau 25% dari dua puluh siswa yang mengikuti pre-test memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), sedangkan lima belas siswa memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). siswa, atau 75% siswa, tidak. Namun pada hasil post-test terdapat 3 siswa atau 15% yang tidak memenuhi KKM, sedangkan 17 siswa atau 85% memenuhi KKM. Hasilnya, tujuan pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa kelas VI SDN Pagerbarang 03 dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarnya pada pembelajaran seni materi periklanan dengan menggunakan blog sebagai media pembelajaran

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model with Quizizz Paper Mode on the interests and learning outcomes of Class V Mathematics. This type of research is Quasi Experimental with the Nonequivalent Control Group research design. The sample of the research was 27 pupils in 5a and 28 pupils of 5c from SDN Petompon 02 Kota Semarang. Both classes had the same abilities before being treated. After being treated, the experimental class had an average difference in interests and learning outcomes compared to the control class. This was demonstrated by the difference test obtained a value of significance <0,05. The results of the test of the hypothesis of influence of interest and learning results obtaining a significance value <0.05. So it can be concluded that the TGT learning model with Quizizz Paper Mode has an influence on learning Mathematics in elementary school.

Abstract

The problems found at SD Negeri Bedug 01 show that teachers tend to teach only using storytelling and lecture methods in learning Fine Arts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using song media in learning fine arts. The research method used was quantitative using a quasi experimental design. The research design applied was non-equivalent control group design with an experimental class of 20 students and a control class of 20 students as a comparison. The results showed that the application of song media was carried out using Project Based Learning syntax, in the implementation process students tended to be more active, interactive and enthusiastic. The increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes was measured using the N-gain score, the results of the N-Gain test on the pretest and posttest scores obtained an average difference of 0.739 with moderate criteria and a level of effectiveness of 73.95 on a very effective interpretation. While the control class obtained a score of 0.425 with moderate criteria and an effectiveness level of 42.35 on the interpretation of less effective. The description of the data shows that the class that applied the song media obtained an increase in learning outcomes with very effective criteria.

Abstract

Exploring students' talents and interests through various arts in elementary schools (SD) is research using the qualitative research method "Case Study Research". This research aims to make it easier for teachers to observe and recognize students' talents and interests and develop them in the art field chosen by the students. This research was carried out using data collection techniques through interview, observation and documentation instruments. Exploring students' talents and interests through various arts is carried out at SD Negeri Kedungsukun 01, Adiwerna District, Tegal Regency, with three areas of arts study added to the school's extracurricular activities, namely music, dance and fine arts. The results of this research show that the areas of art study at SD Negeri Kedungsukun 01, Adiwerna District, Tegal Regency that are of interest to students are 40% fine arts, 30% musical arts, and 30% dance arts. From this data, it is stated that the fine arts field of study is more popular with students, the second is music arts, and the third is dance arts.

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the problem of conventional learning, characterized by low student learning outcomes in SBDP and a lack of motivation to learn. Therefore, a new learning approach is needed to increase students' desire to learn. The development of the e-module aims to increase students' motivation to learn. The research subjects consisted of one subject matter expert, one instructional design expert, one learning media expert, three students who participated in individual trials, and nine students who participated in small group trials. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted through qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the developed e-module is valid with the following evaluations: content expert evaluation (94.23%), design expert evaluation (92.3%), media expert evaluation (86%), individual trial evaluation (91.53%), and small group trial evaluation (90.62%). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the e-module can increase students' desire to learn SBDP in fourth grade.

Abstract

This study aims to: determine the feasibility of pop-up media in SBdP subjects in 3D art form material in SD Negeri Pekauman Kulon 01. This research is a type of research and development with the research subjects of grade IV SD Negeri Pekauman Kulon 01. This research was conducted with a 4D model which consisted of (1) the Define stage and carried out a needs analysis, curriculum, assignments and concepts. (2) The design stage is carried out by collecting references, collecting drafts, compiling materials, and layouts. (3) The develop stage is carried out by making the product design into a product and validating the product repeatedly until a valid product is produced and tested with individual trials, small groups and large groups. (4) The disseminate stage is carried out by distributing the product to the class being tested. Based on the research results, pop-up media is suitable for use in learning three dimensional art work material from the validation results of expert lecturers of 3.31, including the feasible category and elementary school teachers of 3,785 in the category very suitable for use in learning. After the validity test was carried out with validation, it was then tested on students. Individual trials got a percentage of 96.59% with a learning implementation of 99.4%, small group trials got a response of 97.73% with a result of implementation of learning 99.35% and large group trials got a percentage of students' responses of 96.30% with learning implementation of 98.1%.

Abstract

Songs, regarded as a form of musical expression, consistently mirror societal culture. This research aims to unveil and analyze the song tegalan, which serves as a portrayal of Tegal’s cultural identity. The research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data collection for this study involved scrutinizing tegalan songs, particularly their lyrical content, with the purpose of comprehending the themes depicting the unique identity of the Tegal community. In addition to observation, the researcher conducted in-depth interviews with three notable tegalan song artists. A literature review was also undertaken to corroborate the research findings. The collected data was then distilled to extract information pertinent to the research theme, which was subsequently presented based on the interpretation of Tegal’s cultural identity and then conclusively analyzed. The research findings indicate that within the lyrics of tegalan songs, four cultural identities are discernible: (1) the utilization of colloquial Javanese infused with the “ngapak” dialect; (2) the characteristic of spontaneous and sincere communication reflective of the Tegal community’s culture; (3) the identity of coastal communities, which tend to exhibit straightforwardness; and (4) the diverse range of typical Tegal delicacies such as “sega ponggol”, tea with palm sugar (“teh poci gula batu”), among others. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that tegalan songs, in terms of their lyrical content, epitomize the linguistic culture of the Tegal community in both structure and communicative patterns. Moreover, in terms of messaging, these songs convey insights into the identity and distinctive attributes of the Tegal community..
