Abstract

In this study, 116 students enrolled in Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo of School Teacher Education Study Programme (PGSD) will have their Statistical Literacy (SL) proficiency assessed using the Statistical Literacy Ability Test Questions integrated with Indonesian Education Issues using a quantitative descriptive research approach. Researchers used the interview technique to delve deeper into the data they collected, while descriptive analysis was done on the data collected through the distribution of test questions. The findings demonstrated that the students' Statistical Literacy still needed to be improved. On the Statistical Literacy ability exam, 75% of students who scored below 60 and 25% of students who scored over 60 showed these findings. Secondly, the average student's proficiency in answering SL test questions can be observed based on Indicators, which are 71.33% in Indicator 1, 53.16% in Indicator 2, and 57.18% in Indicator 3. In contrast, the average student's proficiency in answering SL questions is 28.67% in indicator 1, 46.84% in indicator 2, and 42.82% in indicator 3. According to in-depth interviews, the primary cause of students' low proficiency in SL is their need to master descriptive statistics. Conversely, the Indonesian Education Issue approach is the primary element contributing to students' capacity to solve SL questions. According to the findings of this study, more research is required to determine whether using learning models, creating new learning models, or using learning strategies to tackle SL challenges can help students' SL skills.

Abstract

The topic of insufficient self-confidence among students in IPAS subjects served as the impetus for this thorough investigation. This study seeks to elucidate the role-playing learning paradigm's impact on sixth-grade students' self-confidence in IPAS topics at SDN 109/II Manggis. This study employed a quantitative research method and a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the research. The research employed an experimental group, utilizing a sample from class VA. To evaluate the hypothesis in this study, the researcher employed non-parametric statistical tests, specifically the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney U test, utilizing SPSS version 26. The Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U test outcomes for the self-confidence variable indicated a significance of 0.000, less than 0.05, validating Ha. Similarly, the significance of the learning desire variable was also 0.000, confirming the acceptance of Ha. The hypothesis test results indicate that the self-confidence of grade VI students in IPAS topics utilizing the role-playing learning model significantly influences their self-confidence compared to those employing the conventional learning model

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya kualitas dan hasil belajar IPAS pada 18 siswa kelas VI, di mana hanya 44,44% yang mencapai ketuntasan. Penyebabnya adalah metode pembelajaran yang monoton dan berpusat pada guru. Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dalam dua siklus, penelitian ini berhasil menunjukkan hasil positif. Keterampilan mengajar guru meningkat dari 78,5% menjadi 93%, sementara aktivitas siswa naik dari 69,5% menjadi 85,5%. Hasil belajar juga membaik secara signifikan, dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas meningkat dari 12 orang (77,77%) pada siklus I menjadi 16 orang (83,33%) pada siklus II. Kesimpulannya, model TGT terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran IPAS di SDN 001/VIII Sungai Pandan dan dapat menjadi alternatif strategi mengajar yang inovatif

Abstract

This study aims to develop the IPAS learning process and outcomes through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model supported by Wordwall media in fifth-grade students at Sijau 224/II Public Elementary School who have low learning completeness (41.38%). The research used a two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with a sample of 22 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation of learning activities and learning outcome tests, analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed a significant increase in teacher learning activities from 87.5% to 95%, student learning processes from 59.47% to 81.03%, and IPAS learning achievement from 69.23% in cycle I to 88.46% in cycle II. The Problem-Based Learning model supported by Wordwall media proved effective in creating interactive learning and increasing student engagement in problem solving. The implications of this research provide creative learning methods that can be replicated to improve the quality of IPAS learning at the elementary education level.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan kelas pada siswa kelas IV SDN 124/II Tanjung Menanti ini dijalankan karena rendahnya capaian belajar yang dipengaruhi oleh kurang berkembangnya keterampilan proses ilmiah siswa. Dapat dilihat melalui perolehan nilai rata-rata peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS, di mana dari 31 siswa hanya 13 yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan, sedangkan 18 lainnya belum tuntas. Tujuan riset ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses serta capaian belajar kognitif IPAS melalui penerapan model kegiatan belajar Discovery Learning pada siswa kelas IV SDN 124/II Tanjung Menanti. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah PTK dengan dua siklus, yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek riset berjumlah 31 siswa kelas IV. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen berupa lembar observasi guru, lembar observasi siswa, dan tes capaian belajar. Hasil riset memperlihatkan bahwa: (1) keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar dengan model Discovery Learning pada siklus I mencapai 66% (kategori cukup) dan meningkat menjadi 93% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II, (2) kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan model Discovery Learning meningkat dari 82% pada siklus I menjadi 98% pada siklus II, dan (3) capaian belajar kognitif IPAS siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 61% pada siklus I menjadi 87% pada siklus II. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Discovery Learning efektif untuk mengoptimalkan keaktifan dan kerja sama siswa, mengembangkan keterampilan proses ilmiah, serta mengoptimalkan pencapaian capaian belajar mereka

Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted to improve the learning process and outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 223/II Rantau Embacang through the implementation of the Index Card Match (ICM) model in the topics of decimal numbers and integers. The study was motivated by preliminary observations indicating low student engagement and poor learning outcomes, as shown by learning processes not aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum and daily test scores below the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKTP). The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 19 students. Data collection methods included observation and tests, using observation sheets and test instruments. The results showed a significant improvement: the teacher’s performance increased by 25% from Cycle I to Cycle II, reaching 100%; student engagement increased by 50%, reaching 87.5%, surpassing the success indicator of 70%; and student learning outcomes improved from 47% at the initial observation to 75% at the end. In conclusion, the implementation of the ICM model helped actively involve students in the learning process, leading to improved learning outcomes

Abstract

This study is driven by the learning process that does not yet align with the requirements of the Independent Curriculum, along with students' low academic achievement. The study is centered around the following research concern "How to improve the process and results of learning mathematics through the application of the make a match model assisted by card installation media at stage B (Class IV) SDN 094 / VIII Giriwinangun?" This type of research is This investigation followed the principles of Classroom Action Research and was performed in March 2025 at SDN 094 / VIII Giriwinangun in semester II. Class IV consisted of 15 students, including 10 boys and 5 girls. Relevant data was obtained gathered With the application of observation and testing methods. The findings revealed that the teacher's learning process adopting the make a match technique assisted with card installation media during the first cycle, the percentage was reaching 80.46%. Furthermore, there was a growth in Cycle II, reflected by a percentage of 82.81%. Students during the learning process the application of the Make a Match strategy supported by card-matching media in Cycle I achieved 46.7%. Furthermore, by Cycle II, it had reached 93.3%. Assessment of student academic results achieved using the Make a Match strategy aided by card-matching media in cycle I reached 60%. While in cycle II student learning outcomes reached 80%. As indicated by the conclusions drawn from this investigation, It may be inferred that implementing the Make a Match model with the support of card pairing media enhances both the learning process and outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 094/VIII Giriwinangun.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada siswa kelas III SDN 04/II Jaya Setia yangberjumlah 21 siswa, berdasarkan hasil observasi awal menunjukkanproses dan hasil belajar siswa rendah, terlihat berdasarkan prosespembelajaran belum sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum merdeka danrata-rata hasil ulangan harian masih di bawah KKTP. Nilai rata-ratatersebut masih di bawah Kriteria Pencapaian Sasaran Pembelajaran(KKTP) yang ditetapkan sekolah yaitu 70. Metode penelitian yangdigunakan adalah (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yangsetiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi,dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian antara lain: 1)keterlaksanaan model talking stick pada materi pecahan dikategorikansangat baik. Pada penilaian proses guru dari siklus I 97,22% ke siklus II100% terjadi peningkatan sebesar 2,78% dengan presentase akhirsebesar 100%. Sedangkan pada proses siswa dari siklus I 45,23% kesiklus II 85,71% terjadi peningkatan sebesar 40,48% dengan presentaseakhir sebesar 90,47%. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh telah mencapaiindikator keberhasilan proses yaitu 75%. 2) Hasil belajar siswa padamateri pecahan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan di atas KKTP 70,setelah diterapkannya model talking stick. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklusI sebesar 61,90% dengan rata-rata 68,57. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklusII sebesar 85,71% dengan rata-rata 85,71. Dapat disimpulkan bahwadari observasi awal sampai siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 57,14%.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles with four stages each cycle including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, with the aim of improving the process and results of mathematics learning through the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Blackbox media, Descriptive statistical data analysis techniques, One Sample T Test, and Descriptive. The results of the study showed an increase in which from cycle 1 for the student learning process of 79.63% and learning outcomes of 29%, while cycle 2 the student learning process was 85.18% and learning outcomes of 88%. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in both the process and learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Blackbox media in the mathematics subject of class III SDN 088/II Sungai Mengkuang.
