Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence discipline and work motivation have on teacher performance. The population in this study were 78 teachers at Setukpa Lemdikpol Sukabumi who worked in the student guidance section. The sample size of this study is the same as the population size using the Saturated Sampling Technique. Survey method was used for this research, and questionnaire was the research tool. Simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, and simple and multiple correlation analysis were the ways to look at the data. Before testing the proposed hypothesis, an analysis requirement test was conducted. The results of descriptive analysis show that the performance, work discipline, and work motivation of teaching staff are in the high category. While the results of hypothesis testing show: There is a significant positive effect of work discipline on the performance of educators in the student development section of Setukpa Lemdikpol Sukabumi; Work motivation affects the performance of educators in the student development section of Setukpa Lemdikpol Sukabumi. This effect is significant and positive; and There is a significant positive effect of educators' work discipline and work motivation on the performance of educators in the student development section of Setukpa Lemdikpol Sukabumi.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan berbicara di depan umum merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang perlu dimiliki mahasiswa untuk menunjang keberhasilan akademik maupun kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Namun dalam praktiknya, masih banyak mahasiswa yang merasa kurang percaya diri ketika harus menyampaikan ide atau presentasi di hadapan orang lain. Kondisi ini mendorong dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pendampingan public speaking interaktif berbasis video feedback bagi mahasiswa Universitas Nusa Putra. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa meningkatkan kepercayaan diri sekaligus mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi lisan secara lebih efektif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan reflektif yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengukuran kemampuan awal peserta melalui pre-test, penyampaian materi dasar public speaking, praktik berbicara di depan peserta lain, perekaman penampilan menggunakan media video, serta pemberian umpan balik berbasis rekaman (video feedback). Melalui metode ini, peserta dapat meninjau kembali performa mereka secara objektif sehingga mampu melakukan refleksi dan perbaikan terhadap aspek verbal maupun nonverbal dalam penyampaian pesan. Program pendampingan ini diikuti oleh 40 mahasiswa Universitas Nusa Putra yang berasal dari berbagai program studi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan public speaking dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa setelah mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan. Nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 46,5, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 72,0, sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25,5 poin. Selain peningkatan skor penilaian, peserta juga menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam hal keberanian berbicara, penguasaan materi, pengaturan intonasi suara, serta penggunaan bahasa tubuh yang lebih percaya diri. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan public speaking interaktif berbasis video feedback memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan soft skills yang dibutuhkan di lingkungan akademik, tetapi juga berpotensi menjadi model pengabdian masyarakat yang inovatif dan aplikatif di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi public speaking mahasiswa Universitas Nusa Putra melalui penerapan model microteaching dan peer feedback terstruktur berbasis video. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi lisan mahasiswa, terutama dalam aspek kejelasan penyampaian, penguasaan materi, intonasi, serta bahasa tubuh. Penguatan kompetensi ini menjadi urgensi strategis mengingat kemampuan public speaking merupakan soft skills esensial dalam mendukung keberhasilan akademik dan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui tahapan pre-test, penyampaian materi teknik public speaking, praktik microteaching individu, perekaman performa peserta, serta pemberian peer feedback terstruktur berbasis video yang diakhiri dengan post-test. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 40 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data pada Batch 80-, nilai rata-rata pre-test peserta sebesar 40,26 dan meningkat menjadi 80,51 pada post- test, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 40,25 poin. Mayoritas peserta mencapai kategori kompeten dengan nilai akhir ?80, menunjukkan efektivitas model yang diterapkan. Selain peningkatan skor kuantitatif, mahasiswa menunjukkan perkembangan signifikan dalam aspek struktur penyampaian materi, artikulasi dan intonasi suara, pengelolaan bahasa tubuh, serta kemampuan memberikan dan menerima umpan balik secara profesional. Model microteaching memberikan ruang latihan terfokus, sementara peer feedback berbasis video mendorong refleksi diri yang objektif dan kolaboratif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model microteaching dan peer feedback terstruktur berbasis video efektif dalam memperkuat kompetensi public speaking mahasiswa. Program ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai model pengabdian masyarakat yang inovatif, terukur, dan aplikatif dalam pengembangan soft skills di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to explore the relationships between Digital Human Resource Management, Employee Empowerment, Internal Mobility, Career Development, Knowledge Innovation, and Employee Engagement in Indonesian technology companies. Methodology: A quantitative approach was used, collecting data from 675 employees via a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3.0). Main Findings: Digital HR directly influences Employee Empowerment and Internal Mobility, which positively affect Career Development. Career Development impacts Knowledge Innovation and Employee Engagement, with Knowledge Innovation serving as a mediator between Career Development and Engagement. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study integrates Resource-Based View (RBV) and Social Exchange Theory (SET), demonstrating how Digital HR competencies and employee reciprocity drive innovation and engagement, providing insights for HR managers in technology firms to enhance talent development and competitiveness.

Abstract

he digital era has transformed the business landscape for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly through the adoption of financial technology (fintech) and digital marketing. Sukasirna Village in Cibadak District, Sukabumi Regency, has significant MSME potential but still requires in-depth study on the impact of digital technology on business financial performance. This research aims to analyze the influence of fintech and digital marketing usage on the financial performance of MSMEs in Sukasirna Village, both partially and simultaneously, and to identify moderating factors in this relationship. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey design. The study population consists of MSME actors in Sukasirna Village who have used fintech and/or digital marketing for at least one year. Data was collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software to test the causal relationships between variables. This research is expected to produce an empirical model that demonstrates the influence of fintech and digital marketing on the financial performance of MSMEs, and to provide strategic recommendations for optimizing the adoption of digital technology to improve the business performance of MSMEs in rural areas. The research findings can serve as a basis for decision-making for MSME actors in optimizing the use of digital technology, for local governments in formulating MSME digitalization policies, and for academics as a contribution to the development of technology adoption theory in the context of rural MSMEs.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kecerdasan politik masyarakat di Kampung Angkrong, Desa Cibodas, Kec. Bojong Genteng, Kabupaten Sukabumi, menjelang periode pemilihan umum. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi rendahnya literasi informasi terkait kandidat, kompleksitas teknis pemungutan suara, serta kerentanan terhadap praktik politik uang. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi partisipatif dan edukasi literasi media. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya verifikasi informasi untuk menangkal hoaks serta kesadaran akan dampak negatif politik uang terhadap integritas demokrasi lokal. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk menjaga netralitas dan kemandirian politik masyarakat pedesaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengelolaan manajemen sumber daya manusia (HRM) terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan melalui sistem reward. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, menganalisis literatur terkait HRM, motivasi kerja, dan sistem reward. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan HRM yang efektif, termasuk penggunaan sistem reward yang transparan dan adil, berdampak positif pada motivasi kerja karyawan. Reward yang sesuai dengan kontribusi karyawan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas, mengurangi turnover, dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia perusahaan. Kesimpulannya, manajemen sumber daya manusia yang fokus pada Reward System dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja karyawan dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan perusahaan.
