Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning merupakan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada pemecahan masalah yang dapat diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran IPAS pada konsep siklus daur air. Pembelajaran siklus daur air dapat diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based learning dengan berbantukan media diorama. Berdasarkan observasi di SDN Krapyak pembelajaran dikelas V ternyata guru belum menguasai penerapan model Problem Based learning dan media pembelajaran khususnya pada konsep siklus daur air, hal ini berpengaruh kepada hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaboratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan melakukan penerapan model Problem Based learning berbantukan media diorama siklus air. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian merupakan siswa kelas V SDN Krapyak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan soal tes (evaluasi). Prosedur Penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model siklus Kurt Lewin, dimana dalam kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Penelitian dapat dikatakan tuntas apabila siswa dapat mencapai skor KKM 75 pada soal tes (evaluasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada materi konsep siklus daur air mampu meningkatkan hasil awal prasiklus hingga sampai tahapan siklus I dan kegiatan siklus II.Abstract: The application of the Problem Based learning model is learning that focuses on problem solving which can be applied to the science and science learning process on the concept of the water cycle. Learning the water cycle cycle can be taught using a problem-based learning model with the help of diorama media. Based on observations at SDN Krapyak learning in class V it turned out that teachers had not mastered the application of problem-based learning models and learning media, especially in the concept of the water cycle cycle, this had an effect on student learning outcomes. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based learning model with the help of the water cycle diorama media. Data analysis in this study uses qualitative and quantitative analysis. The subjects in the study were fifth grade students at SDN Krapyak. Data collection techniques used observation and test questions (evaluation). Research procedures in this classroom action research used the Kurt Lewin cycle model, where the research activities were carried out in two learning cycles. Research can be said to be complete if students can achieve a KKM score of 75 on test questions (evaluation). The results showed that the learning outcomes of class V students on the concept material of the water cycle cycle were able to increase based on the initial results of the pre-cycle up to the stages of cycle I and cycle II activities.

Abstract

The limited active participation of students in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level remains a pedagogical challenge that has not been effectively addressed. Conventional teacher-centered practices tend to create passive learning environments and diminish students’ enthusiasm for learning. To address this issue, the present study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Articulate Storyline platform in enhancing fourth-grade elementary students’ engagement in Indonesian language learning. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research involved 25 students and one teacher from SDN Jekulo 02 Kudus. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that the implementation of Articulate Storyline significantly increased students’ activeness in asking questions (from 32% to 84%), participation in discussions (40% to 92%), concentration in learning (48% to 96%), and enthusiasm in completing assignments (36% to 88%). The media also facilitated spontaneous collaboration, independent learning, and the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Its interactive and contextually relevant multimedia features proved to be the primary drivers of increased student motivation. Nevertheless, limitations in device availability and digital literacy emerged as technical barriers that need to be addressed. The study recommends the sustainable integration of interactive digital media, accompanied by teacher training and the development of adaptive local content, as a strategy for transforming Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

BACKGROUND : The health issue of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) remains a concern in Indonesia. Vitamin D supplementation is one way to manage tuberculosis, which is a crucial case control metric. It is anticipated that vitamin D's anti-inflammatory properties will lower erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and inflammatory indicators, hence speeding up sputum conversion. AIMS :  To analyze the effect of vitamin D supplementation on sputum conversion, ESR and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) among pulmonary tuberculosis patients METHOD : Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who were treated as outpatients at Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital and Pekauman Health Centre between May-July 2024 and who satisfied the study's inclusion requirements were included in the randomised controlled trial. Subjects were randomly divided into 2 groups (19 subjects in the treatment group and 19 subjects in the control group) using random selection with sealed envelopes. The treatment group received antituberculosis drugs (ATD) and vitamin D supplementation at a dose of 10,000 IU/day for eight weeks after the initiation of TB therapy, while the control group received ATD and a placebo. ESR and NLR examinations were performed prior to treatment, in weeks 4 and 8, whereas sputum evaluations were conducted at weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8. Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) was used for data analysis. P-value <0,05 was significant statistically. RESULT :  The study subjects were 38 pulmonary TB patients, most of whom were women (65.0%) with an average age of 50.42 ± 18.61 years. Overall, during the 8 weeks of intervention, there was a significant effect of vitamin D supplementation on sputum conversion (OR = 1.61, 95%CI = 0.030-0.931, p = 0.037). There was no significant effect of vitamin D supplementation on NLR (regression coefficient = 0.549, 95%CI = -1.769-2.858, p = 0.641) and ESR (regression coefficient = -5.529, 95%CI = -20.658-9.599, p = 0.474). CONCLUSION : Vitamin D supplementation significantly affects sputum conversion. In the 8th week, almost all subjects who initially had positive BTA became negative. But does not significantly affect ESR and NLR.

Abstract

Pancasila education as one of the subject contents in elementary schools plays a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of the Indonesian nation. Through teaching the values contained in Pancasila, students are taught to understand and apply basic principles such as divinity, humanity, unity, populism, and social justice in everyday life. In learning Pancasila education, a teacher is also required to innovate in the use of learning media. Animated video media was chosen as a teaching aid with the hope of improving student learning outcomes. Canva, an easy-to-use online graphic design platform, allows teachers to create attractive and interactive animated videos without requiring in-depth technical skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Research and Development (R&D) research type adapted from Borg and Gall. The research results were obtained from processing data, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the canva application-based animated video learning media was very feasible to use in learning pancaila education seen from the percentage of material expert and media expert scores which showed a percentage of 91.6% and 79.16%. The results of the student pretest and posttest showed an increase in the average score where in the small group test the pretest average score was 43.3 while the posttest average score was 90.
