Abstract

Memberdayakan masyarakat adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan harkat dan martabat lapisan masyarakat yang dalam kondisi sekarang tidak mampu untuk melepaskan diri dari perangkap kemiskinan dan keterbelakangan. Memberdayakan dengan kata lain adalah memampukan dam memandirikan masyarakat. Artinya pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah upaya untuk memampukan dan memandirikan dengan mendorong, memotivasi dan membangkitkan kesadaran terhadap potensi yang dimilikinya untuk lebih berdayaguna dan berhasil guna. Salah satu misi yang dilaksanakan dalam optimalisasi pemberdayaan masyarakat di dusun Bondalem kelurahan Jumantoro kecamatan Jumapolo adalah dengan mengadakan seminar peternakan masyarakat  di dusun Bondalem  kelurahan Jumantoro  Kecamatan Jumapolo. Hal ini sebagai wujud pemberdayaan, pendampingan, serta penguatan masyarakat terhadap pengetahuan dalam sektor peternakan. Sosial dan perekonomian merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan dan kehidupan masyarakat. Masyarakat di dusun Bondalem kelurahan Jumantoro Kab. Karanganyar penghasilannya banyak didapat dari hasil pertanian, perkebunan, serta peternakan.

Abstract

The workshop with the theme "Educating Independence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Independence with Digital Marketing Workshop in Pranggrong Village Boyolali" aims to improve the understanding and skills of UMKM actors in utilizing digital technology as a marketing tool. This activity is motivated by the importance of digitalization in expanding market reach and increasing the competitiveness of local products in the modern era. This workshop includes material on the basic concepts of digital marketing, marketing strategies through social media and marketplaces, and the practice of creating attractive promotional content. Through interactive sessions and direct practice, participants are equipped with skills to utilize various digital platforms to market their products effectively. The results of this activity show that participants have a better understanding of digital marketing strategies and are able to apply them in their businesses. This workshop is expected to be the first step in encouraging UMKM actors in Pranggong Village to utilize digital technology optimally, so that they can expand the market and increase business growth.

Abstract

The objectives of this study is to determine the quality of Qur'an memorization of class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta and to determine the implementation of the Al-Qosimi method in learning tahfidzul qur'an at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta. This research used qualitative method and descriptive approach. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta in September - December 2023. Data collection was conducted by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used data collection analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing or verification. To test the validity of the data was done through Credibility Test. The results show that, the quality of memorization of the Qur'an of class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta can be said to be still uneven, this is due to differences in the ability to memorize from each student and lack of motivation from students. As for the implementation of the Al-Qosimi method in learning tahfidzul qur'an at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islam Jamsaren is quite good, this can be seen from the results of researchers' observations in teaching and learning activities for tahfidzul qur'an subjects that are in accordance with the guidelines or technical instructions in the implementation of the Al-Qosimi method, namely by having muroja'ah together first then reading 40 times before starting to memorize new memorization, and memorization deposits by listening to friends first before depositing memorization to the respective halaqoh teacher.

Abstract

One of the issues faced by many students today is the lack of attention to ethics and manners, particularly in matters of food and clothing. This problem is influenced by various factors, including the influence of non-Islamic fashion education. This study aims to compare the values of etiquette in eating, dressing, and sleeping as presented in the works of Sheikh Abu Bakar Jabir Al-Jazairi and Umar bin Ahmad Baradja. By analyzing the guidelines provided by these two scholars, the research seeks to identify similarities and differences in their approaches to educating Muslims about manners and morals. The study employs a library research methodology, utilizing both primary and secondary sources. The research is descriptive and qualitative, aiming to describe and interpret the objects based on the data collected, which is then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that "Minhajul Muslim" is intended for a general audience and presents comprehensive values of etiquette, while "Akhlaq Lil Banat" focuses on delivering advice specifically to women, with detailed and concise emphasis on modesty and social ethics.

Abstract

This study examines the thought of Zakiyah Daradjat in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia using a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach. It focuses on her main ideas regarding the nature and aims of Islamic education, which she formulates as efforts to nurture human beings to become pious servants of Allah in all aspects of life—actions, thoughts, and feelings. She emphasizes that the foundations of Islamic education rest on the Al-Qur’an, As-Sunnah, and Ijtihad, and she positions the family, school, and society as the environments as well as the parties responsible for the educational process. The findings show that Zakiyah Daradjat’s contribution to Islamic education in Indonesia is manifested in two principal roles. First, as an educator and psychologist who devoted considerable attention to mental health, particularly in relation to adolescent issues. Second, as a bureaucrat and reformer of Islamic education who was directly involved in educational practice and policy formulation through strategic positions in government agencies and Islamic educational institutions. These contributions make Zakiyah Daradjat’s thought remain relevant and significant for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia to the present day.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Canva-based Interactive E-Module for Hadith Science to improve the quality of learning media for grade XI students of MA Al-Mukmin Ngruki. The study used a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, including the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The needs analysis showed that most students had difficulty understanding abstract concepts such as sanad, matan, and hadith classification and preferred interactive digital learning media. The design and development stage resulted in a module that integrates text, visualisations, diagrams, interactive quizzes, and video links according to multimedia learning principles. Validation by material and media experts obtained an average score of 4.45 (89%) and 4.35 (87%), and was declared very feasible. Implementation on 30 students as trial participants obtained a score of 4.32 (86%), indicating the module is effective in facilitating understanding, increasing motivation, and active involvement of students. Formative evaluation included revisions to the glossary, typography, and examples of hadith. The results of the study prove that the Canva-based interactive E-Module is able to be an innovative, interesting, and effective learning medium in supporting the understanding of Hadith Science for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop video-based Quran memorisation learning media using the talqin method to improve elementary school students' memorisation. The background of this study is the need for learning media that is interesting, effective, and appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood in memorising the Quran. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects were elementary school students participating in the Quran memorisation program. Expert validation results indicate that the developed media is categorised as very feasible, both in terms of material and media aspects. Limited trials showed a significant increase in students' memorisation abilities between the pretest and posttest. In addition, students' responses to the video media were very positive because they were considered easier, more enjoyable, and helped with the process of repetition. Thus, video-based learning media using the talqin method is effective in improving elementary school students' Quran memorisation.

Abstract

Islamic education aims at the holistic development of learners, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions, as well as the cultivation of faith, morality, and mental health. Zakiah Daradjat is a prominent Indonesian Islamic education scholar who introduced an integrative approach between Islamic education and the psychology of religion, particularly within the context of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI). However, previous studies on her thought have largely remained descriptive and have not sufficiently engaged in critical analysis in relation to contemporary educational challenges. This study aims to critically analyze Zakiah Daradjat’s Islamic educational thought by examining its contributions, conceptual uniqueness, and relevance to the development of contemporary Islamic Religious Education in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, the study utilizes Daradjat’s original works as primary sources and relevant academic literature as secondary sources. Data analysis is conducted using content analysis with an emphasis on thematic and critical interpretation. The findings indicate that Zakiah Daradjat’s educational thought emphasizes a holistic, integrative, and contextual model of Islamic education grounded in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and ijtihad, and implemented synergistically across family, school, and community settings. The integration of Islamic education and the psychology of religion represents her distinctive contribution, particularly in strengthening learners’ character formation and mental health. Nevertheless, her ideas require deeper engagement with contemporary educational theories and pedagogical approaches to remain adaptive to global and digital challenges. Theoretically and practically, Zakiah Daradjat’s Islamic educational thought remains relevant as a foundation for the development of modern Islamic Religious Education, especially in addressing moral degradation and students’ mental health issues in Indonesia.

Abstract

Although Ibn Khaldun’s educational thought has been widely discussed in various studies, research that specifically examines its relevance to modern education, particularly in the Indonesian context, remains relatively limited. This study aimed to explore in depth the educational thought of Ibnu Khaldun, describe his intellectual background, and analyze the relevance of his educational concepts to educational practice in the modern era. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed with a library research design and descriptive analysis of Ibnu Khaldun’s works and related literature. The findings show that Ibnu Khaldun’s educational thought has strong relevance to modern Islamic education, including his concept of gradual learning, which aligns with contemporary educational psychology theories; his rejection of coercion and violence, which is consistent with humanistic educational approaches; and his idea of maintaining a balance between religious sciences and rational sciences, which corresponds to the needs of Islamic education in the modern era. These findings affirm that Ibnu Khaldun’s educational thought can serve as an important reference for developing an educational paradigm that is balanced, humanistic, and contextual, while also opening opportunities for further critical exploration of the relevance and application of his ideas in today’s education systems.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the thoughts and contributions of KH. Imam Zarkasyi in the renewal of Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a literature review, with a case study approach. Data were obtained from books, journals, proceedings, magazines, and scientific articles, and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques that include the stages of comparison, contrast, and critique. The study's results indicate that the renewal of Islamic boarding school education was initiated by KH. Imam Zarkasyi is based on four main aspects, namely the renewal of the structure and management of Islamic boarding school institutions based on waqf, the development of an integrative curriculum that combines religious knowledge and general knowledge in a balanced manner, the implementation of a modern and organized classical boarding school education system and method, and the formation of the mindset of students through the internalization of the Panca Jiwa Pondok values. In addition, this study found that the concepts of the hidden curriculum and 24-hour education implemented at the Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School contributed significantly to the formation of students' characters as independent, broad-minded, and oriented towards social service. The educational thoughts of KH. Imam Zarkasyi is a relevant model for developing modern Islamic boarding schools that remain rooted in Islamic values and are adaptable to the demands of changing times.
