Abstract

The BIPA Sahabatku Indonesia textbook is popular teaching material among the BIPA community. This is because of easy access to download and use it. Based on this context, this study aims to explore Indonesian insights from textbooks. As a book initiated by Language Development and Development Materials, the textbook has an urgency to be researched as a description of Indonesian content applied by the author of the book. The method used in this study was qualitative with a content analysis approach. The data for this research are seven series of my best-friend Indonesia textbooks uploaded on the official website of the BIPA Language Agency. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of reading, marking, recording, rechecking, and revising. The analysis model used was interactive analysis. The results of the research are Indonesian insights, which are represented through 10 units in a series of textbooks. Each unit represents an Indonesian insight appropriate for the topic of discussion. The Indonesian insight is represented through authentic socio-cultural practices, art, literature, history, politics, education, environmental issues, and so on as Indonesian identity. These findings have implications for the concept that BIPA, which contains teaching materials, can be used as soft diplomacy to introduce Indonesia to the world community through BIPA learning, which contains Indonesian insights.

Abstract

This study explores euphemism in the language use of Indonesian migrant workers' children in Malaysia. Focusing on intercultural communication within Indonesian schools, it employs a qualitative case study approach with observational data collection. Results reveal diverse euphemistic forms (1) one-word substitutions, (2) circumlocution, (3) borrowing, (4) abbreviation, (5) hyperbole, and (6) figurative expression in Bugisness, Indonesian, English, and Malaysian. These euphemisms serve as linguistic politeness strategies for indirect speech acts in communication.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai diversifikasi komsumsi pangan lokal. Diversiikasi pangan atau penganekaragaman pangan adalah suatu usaha untuk mengajak masyarakat memberikan variasi terhadap makanan pokok yang dikomsumsi, agar tidak berfokus hanya satu jenis saja. Salah satu cara yang kami lakukan dengan mengadakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu sosialisasi mengenai diversifikasi pangan lokal dan memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang penganekaragaman makanan (Diversifikasi) . Kegiatan ini yang dilaksanakan di Desa Keresik Bura, Kecamatan Paser Belengkong, Kabupaten Paser dengan Melibatkan sejumlah mahasiswa dan dosen Universita Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Keresik Bura dengan lama kegiatan satu hari. Dari masyarakat yang hadir ada kelompok Wanita Tani yang menghasilkan sebuah beras analog atau tiruan dari talas sebagai pengganti beras yang mereka namakan beras Talas, tapi belum di sosialisasikan dengan masyarakat luas. Dari hasil analisis yang kami dapatkan masih kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang diversifikasi pangan lokal dan masih primadonanya beras dikalangan masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Introduction: The initial survey was conducted at 29 Health center in Konawe Regency, it was found that there were several Health center not realizing the overall MSS achievement and there was an accumulation of the average achievement of 12 MSS found in 17 Health center under 80% and all Health center did not implement additional service standards seen from the annual report in Konawe District Health Office. Thus, researchers feel the need to conduct research on the relationship of organizational factors to the implementation of minimum service standards at the Konawe District Health Center. Method: This type of quantitative research has a population of all officers who have roles and responsibilities for the quality of Public health center services by applying Minimum Service Standards in 29 Public health center totaling 174 and a sample of 122 officers. Result: Data analysis and obtained the value of X Count or Chi Square 55.03> from 3.84 or X table and the value of Phi 0.695 which means it has a strong relationship. Conclusion: There is a strong relationship between organizational factors (Resources, Leadership, Compensation, Organizational Structure and Job Design) and Implementation of Minimum Service Standards.

Abstract

Sistem informasi merupakan sekelompok komponen yang mempunyai keterkaitan dalam mencapai suatu tujuan. Pengembangan sistem informasi memiliki metode-metode yang beragam. Metode yang biasa digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi yakni metode terstruktur dan metode berorientasi objek. Belum diketahui berapa banyak sistem informasi yang telah dikembangkan oleh metode-metode tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengidentifikasi metode pengembangan sistem informasi di Indonesia dengan data yang diperoleh dari artikel terkait sepanjang tahun 2021 tentang sistem informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Adapun metode SLR berguna untuk mengidentifikasi pengembangan sistem informasi di Indonesia dengan pertanyaan tertentu yang relevan, penggunaan metode ini dapat dilakukan review dan identifikasi artikel jurnal secara sistematis dengan setiap proses mengikuti tahapan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian ini, metode terstruktur merupakan metode yang dominan digunakan dalam menyelesaikan pengembangan sistem informasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between the giving of rewards to the performance of employees in the New Normal period at PT. SLJ GLOBAL TBk Samarinda. In this study, the population selected in the production office was 100 people. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with a total sample of 80 people. The data analysis technique used is the Simple Regression Analysis technique with the results that there is an influence between the variables of giving rewards to employee performance, it can be seen in the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) which is 0.904, so from these results it can be concluded that reward giving is influenced by employee performance by 90% while 10% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. The awarding of rewards obtained t-count greater than t-table of 27,163 > 1,991 with a significant level of result of 0.000 < 0.05 (α = 0.05). Theoretical benefits of research Provide analytical information that the research can provide benefits in the development of studies regarding the effect of reward giving on employee performance in the New Normal period. Meanwhile, practically for companies, it is hoped that this research will help companies analyze existing rewards in the company and be able to provide suggestions to get input on giving rewards to companies.

Abstract

Silaturahmi dalam ajaran Islam, yang dijelaskan dalam Al-Qur'an dan hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW, memiliki makna luas yang tidak hanya mencakup hubungan antar individu, tetapi juga dengan seluruh makhluk. Tujuan silaturahmi adalah menumbuhkan kedamaian, kemaslahatan, dan mencegah kemudaratan. Di Kabupaten Asahan, partisipasi masyarakat dalam program haji dan umrah semakin meningkat berkat pengelolaan yang efektif melalui media massa dan platform daring oleh Auliya Tour & Travel. Pengajian haji yang dilakukan di daerah ini bukan hanya memperdalam pemahaman tentang ibadah haji, tetapi juga mempererat hubungan sosial dan memperkuat keharmonisan antarwarga. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti penggunaan media sosial dalam bersilaturahmi, yang sejalan dengan perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Service Learning (SL), yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, bertujuan untuk membangun keharmonisan sosial melalui pengajian haji. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengajian haji di Kabupaten Asahan berperan penting dalam memperkuat persaudaraan sosial dan membangun keharmonisan di masyarakat yang multikultural, serta menunjukkan potensi metode SL dalam menciptakan perubahan sosial yang positif.

Abstract

This article explores how age politics serve as a key factor in understanding power relations within Indonesian cultural society. Age-based stereotypes determine an individual’s position within organizational structures and social classes. Through the use of Critical Discourse Analysis, this study examines various daily communication interactions Through the use of Critical Discourse Analysis, this study examines various everyday communication interactions in families, communities, and institutions. Findings reveal that age politics systematically reinforce discriminatory practices, deeply rooted in social morality and institutional norms. Although there is a strong tendency to respect seniority, this dynamic is beginning to shift, especially in technology and creative fields, influenced by modernization and global values. Unfortunately, age-based stereotypes remain largely unchallenged in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Korean celebrities as brand ambassadors and product quality on consumer purchase intention for local skincare products in Indonesia. In the growing skincare industry, employing Korean celebrities as brand ambassadors has become an effective marketing strategy, contributing to increased brand appeal and influencing consumer purchasing decisions. The study adopts a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 100 purposively selected respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that Korean celebrities as brand ambassadors have a significant effect on consumer purchase intention. Additionally, product quality is identified as a key determinant in influencing purchasing decisions. Collectively, the combination of effective brand ambassadors and high product quality creates a strong synergy in driving consumer purchase intention. These findings provide strategic insights for local companies to enhance their competitiveness in the increasingly saturated skincare market. The study also highlights the importance of integrating cultural elements into marketing strategies to establish emotional connections with consumers.
