Abstract

This article explores how age politics serve as a key factor in understanding power relations within Indonesian cultural society. Age-based stereotypes determine an individual’s position within organizational structures and social classes. Through the use of Critical Discourse Analysis, this study examines various daily communication interactions Through the use of Critical Discourse Analysis, this study examines various everyday communication interactions in families, communities, and institutions. Findings reveal that age politics systematically reinforce discriminatory practices, deeply rooted in social morality and institutional norms. Although there is a strong tendency to respect seniority, this dynamic is beginning to shift, especially in technology and creative fields, influenced by modernization and global values. Unfortunately, age-based stereotypes remain largely unchallenged in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Korean celebrities as brand ambassadors and product quality on consumer purchase intention for local skincare products in Indonesia. In the growing skincare industry, employing Korean celebrities as brand ambassadors has become an effective marketing strategy, contributing to increased brand appeal and influencing consumer purchasing decisions. The study adopts a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 100 purposively selected respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that Korean celebrities as brand ambassadors have a significant effect on consumer purchase intention. Additionally, product quality is identified as a key determinant in influencing purchasing decisions. Collectively, the combination of effective brand ambassadors and high product quality creates a strong synergy in driving consumer purchase intention. These findings provide strategic insights for local companies to enhance their competitiveness in the increasingly saturated skincare market. The study also highlights the importance of integrating cultural elements into marketing strategies to establish emotional connections with consumers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the Higher Education Management Strategy in Preventing Drug Abuse in Asahan Regency The type of research in this study uses qualitative research, with a phenomenological approach. This research took place at private campuses/universities throughout Asahan Regency. Data collection techniques used interviews, field observations and documentation studies. Data processing and analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the management of higher education institutions towards preventing drug abuse in Asahan Regency, namely the need for active participation and participation in implementing drug abuse prevention activities carried out on campus, reporting all forms of possession, distribution or drug abuse that occur on campus, actively participating in training, seminars, workshops on preventing drug abuse both carried out by the campus and outside the campus, establishing good communication with peers and other campus residents (Rector, Dean, Head of College, Lecturers, parents, and campus security officers), and things that students can do to play a role in this industrial era and take steps and places as the driving force of this country is to develop critical thinking patterns and not be easily eroded by negative influences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Khususnya pada penggunaan WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Plus Permata Insani Islamic School, Tangerang Banten. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII berjumlah 190 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa WhatsApp dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia karena WhatsApp memiliki fitur yang praktis dan dapat menghemat kouta internet pengguna. Partisipan secara umum menilai WhatsApp sebagai alat yang lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan aplikasi sejenis. Keunggulan tersebut membuktikan bahwa WhatsApp bukan sekadar alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sebuah platform pembelajaran yang efisien. Dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA, WhatsApp menjadi pilihan utama bagi para siswa dan guru. Dengan fitur-fitur interaktifnya, aplikasi ini mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan mendukung pertukaran informasi antar anggota kelompok pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa WhatsApp bukan hanya sekadar media pembelajaran tambahan, tetapi telah menjadi primadona yang memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di jenjang SMA.

Abstract

The development of advanced communications technology has brought about fundamental changes in the world of life. A number of views on the spirit behind the progress are emerging, as well as about the effects it incurs. This paper tries to see two basic things. First about the passion and trends behind the advances in communication technology. This section includes all-free behavior that encourages the tendency of abnormalities, identity greed, the speed and interconnectedness. Second, about the spirit of thought that underlies the advancement of communication technology. This section reviews the three currents of thought that become the dominant discusus in viewing technology. That thought is; 1) utopianism as an optimistic view of the positive role of science and technology, 2) dystopianism, as a pessimistic view of science and technology, and 3) hypertopianism, as the 'fatalist' view of science and technology. The various streams of thought that the author studied from a number of literatures in this field show the tendency of many thinkers to highlight the negative aspects of the latest advances in communication technology. Similarly depicted in this paper, the gloomy portrayal of the future of communication technology in this paper can be viewed positively, that it gives us a map of the spirit of progress, as a "long-warning system" that provides mapping, and the possibility of the future by departing from current social, cultural and technological trends can help us read its constellations and impacts

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan merupakan tindakan atau cara yang dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen. Kualitas produk makanan merupakan peranan penting untuk konsumen dalam memutuskan pembelian dengan melihat sisi bentuk, warna dan rasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas makanan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Ayam Bakar Lunak Pak Manteb Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan Kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari konsumen Ayam Bakar Lunak Pak Manteb Kota Samarinda yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diukur menggunakan Skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan memperoleh nilai sebesar 3,106 dan variabel kualitas produk makanan memperoleh nilai sebesar 5,499 terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sedangkan nilai sebesar 1,985. Artinya kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk makanan memiliki > (3,106 dan 5,499 > 1,985) dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 dan 0,001 < 0,005. Serta secara bersama-sama memperoleh nilai sebesar 71,923 sedangkan nilai 3,939 dan memiliki nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,005. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Artinya, variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk makanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada ayam bakar lunak pak manteb kota samarinda. Kata kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, Kualitas Produk Makanan, Keputusan Pembelian.

Abstract

This study explores the collaboration among entrepreneurs in the realm of non-price practices from the perspective of Islamic economic law. It focuses on the prohibitions of iktikhar and tadlis, which are considered unethical and detrimental to the integrity of business transactions. Iktikhar involves deceptive practices that mislead consumers, while tadlis refers to concealing defects or flaws in products. Both practices undermine consumer trust and threaten the sustainability of partnerships among entrepreneurs. Through a qualitative analysis, this research highlights the importance of ethical behavior in fostering a business environment that values transparency and mutual benefit. The findings suggest that adherence to Islamic ethical standards not only enhances the reputation of collaborative ventures but also contributes to the long-term success of businesses. By promoting ethical practices in non-price competition, this study provides insights into the potential for creating sustainable business relationships rooted in integrity, ultimately leading to a more equitable and trustworthy marketplace. Keywords: Non-price practices,Iktikhar,Tadlis

Abstract

Health services are a basic right of every citizen guaranteed by law. In practice, patients not only have the right to consent to informed consent, but also the right to refuse the medical procedure through informed refusal, after receiving adequate information. Informed refusal is a form of respect for the patient's autonomy and has the same legal status as informed consent. However, the understanding and regulation related to informed refusal in Indonesia is still limited. This paper highlights the importance of legal recognition of informed refusal as part of human rights and the need for special regulations to realize legal certainty in the relationship between patients and health workers.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah segala sesuatu yang bisa digunakan untuk menyalurkan pesan atau informasi sehingga dapat merangsang pikiran, perhatian, dan minat siswa untuk belajar dan mudah dalam memahami pelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran fiqih kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kelayan Banjarmasin cukup baik namun belum optimal karena terbatas pada media-media yang sudah ada saja seperti buku pelajaran dan papan tulis, media-media elektonik belum tersedia sepenuhnya. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan media pembelajaran fiqih tersebut adalah latar belakang pendidikan guru, pengalaman mengajar, pendidikan dan pelatihan/training profesi keguruan, dan fasilitas. Kata Kunci: Media, Pembelajaran, dan Fiqh

Abstract

Studi Islam dengan pendekatan normatif adalah suatu pendekatan yang memandang agama dari segi ajarannya yang pokok dan asli dari Tuhan yang didalamnya belum terdapat penalaran pemikiran manusia. Tetapi untuk memahaminya manusia tidak bisa lepas untuk menggunakan akal pikirannya. Alquran memberikan penghargaan yang tinggi terhadap akal. Banyak ayat Alquran yang mendorong manusia supaya berpikir dan mempergunakan akalnya dalam memahami segala ajaran atau wahyu yang diturunkan-Nya.Kata-kata yang dipakai dalam Alquran untuk menggambarkan perbuatan berpikir bukan hanya 'aqala, tetapi juga Nazara yang berarti melihat secara abstrak dalam arti berpikir dan merenungkan. Tadabbara yang berarti merenungkan. Tafakkara yang berarti berpikir. Faqiha yang berarti mengerti, faham. Tadzakkara yang berarti mengingat, memperoleh peringatan, mendapat pelajaran, memperhatikan dan mempelajari. Fahima yang berarti memahami.  Kata Kunci: Studi, Islam, Pendekatan, dan Normatif
