Abstract

This research was conducted because of the phenomenon of aggressiveness that emerged in SDN Kludan. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and aggressiveness in grade VI SDN Kludan students. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between emotional regulation and aggressiveness in elementary students. The variables of this study were emotion regulation as the independent variable and aggressiveness as the dependent variable. The population in this study were 120 students. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique. Data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment Correlation statistical technique with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results of the analysis show a correlation coefficient of -0.763 with a significance value of - .001 <0.05. It is concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, that is, there is a negative relationship between emotional regulation and aggressiveness. meaning that the higher the emotional regulation, the lower the aggressiveness, and vice versa, the lower the emotional regulation, the higher the aggressiveness. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who lack academic self-efficacy in undergoing the process of academic activities at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This study aims to determine the academic self-efficacy of the students of the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The variable contained in this study is academic self-efficacy. This research was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo using students for the Academic Year 2020-2021 as many as 320 student subjects taken using the proportional sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used an academic self-efficacy scale with a Likert-scaled model. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistical analysis with categorization techniques. The results of data analysis showed that most of the students' academic self-efficacy levels were in the medium category (71%), a few were in the low category (16%), but a small portion had high self-efficacy (13%),. The study programs that have are Management study programs with an average score of 70.70, and Law study programs are 70.43. While the highest aspect is generality with an average value of 26.45, magnitude 25.13, strength aspect 18.48.

Abstract

Students of SMP Negeri 2 Dawarblandong have problems in academic flow, namely students feel unable to concentrate fully and do not enjoy learning and doing math assignments. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between academic self-regulation and academic flow in students of SMP Negeri 2 Dawarblandong in Mathematics. This study uses correlational quantitative methods, the population is all students of SMP Negeri 2 Dawarblandong from grades 7-9 with a total of 510. And the sample is 224 students. The data collection technique used was the academic self-regulation scale with a reliability value of 0.923 and the academic flow scale adapted the flow inventory for students scale with a reliability value of 0.765. The data analysis method uses Spearman's rho correlation with r value = 0.549 and p value = < .001, it can be interpreted that there is a significant relationship between academic self-regulation variables and academic flow. The magnitude of the effect of academic self-regulation on academic flow is quite large (0.549).

Abstract

This study uses a type of correlational quantitative research. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional regulation and academic stress in class XII students in Accounting in Antarctica 2 Sidoarjo Vocational School. The variables contained in this study are emotional regulations as independent variables and academic stress as dependent variables. This research was conducted at Antarctic Vocational School 2 Sidoarjo with a sample of 103 students using non probability sampling with accidental sampling techniques. Techniques in data collection using 2 Likert scales, namely the emotional regulation scale and academic stress scale. The results of this study are the existence of a significant relationship between emotional regulation and academic stress in students. Data analysis was carried out using Pearson correlation statistics with the help of SPSS ver. 24 for Windows. The results of the data analysis in this study showed a correlation coefficient of -0.569 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, this could be concluded that there was a negative relationship between emotional regulation and academic stress. This means that if the higher regulation of emotion, the lower the academic stress experienced by the Antarctic Vocational School 2 Sidoarjo, on the contrary if emotional regulation is lower, the felt academic stress will be higher.

Abstract

The purposeofthispaper is todeterminetherelationshipbetweenself-controlandmeeting the needs of students with school organizations atSMK X Pandaan, where there are problems due to lack of school organization. The population used in this study was 270 while the sample of this study was 152 students who were carried out at SMK X Pandaan. In determining the subject with the stratified random sampling technique, two psychological scales with the Likert scale model were used to collect data in this study, namely the self-control scale of the behavioral scale of compliance with school rules. Data analysis was performed using the statistical test technique of Pearson Flow Moment Correlation. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between self-control and compliance with school rules and the performance of SMK X Pandaan students of 0.37. at a significance level of 0.001 (<0.005). the results of hypothesis testing indicate that the hypothesis can be accepted. The results showed that students' self-control according to school regulations was mostly moderate at SMK X Pandaan. Highlights: The purpose of the study: To determine the relationship between self-control and meeting the needs of students with school organizations at SMK X Pandaan. Sample and data collection: The study included 152 students from a population of 270, using the Likert scale model to measure self-control and compliance with school rules. Findings: There is a significant positive relationship (0.37) between self-control and compliance with school rules among SMK X Pandaan students, indicating the importance of self-control in maintaining school regulations. Abstract

This study explores the relationship between work conflict and employee discipline within an organization, aiming to uncover potential implications for achieving organizational goals. Utilizing quantitative methods, a survey scale was administered to 254 randomly selected employees from a population of 705 in PT X Tbk. Surabaya. The analysis revealed a significant negative correlation (r = -0.263**, p < 0.005) between work conflict and employee discipline. These findings indicate that work conflict acts as a detrimental factor influencing the discipline of employees. The implications suggest that addressing work conflict is crucial for fostering a disciplined work environment, ultimately contributing to organizational success. Highlights: Work conflict negatively affects employee discipline: The study demonstrates a significant negative correlation between work conflict and employee discipline, emphasizing the detrimental impact of work conflict on maintaining a disciplined workforce. Quantitative methods for measuring work conflict and employee discipline: The research employed quantitative methods, specifically a survey scale, to collect and analyze data, providing a structured and objective approach to investigate the relationship between work conflict and employee discipline. Implications for organizational success: The findings highlight the importance of addressing work conflict to foster a disciplined work environment. By mitigating work conflict, organizations can enhance employee discipline, thereby increasing their chances of achieving desired organizational goals.
