Abstract

Competition in the world of work that is getting tougher requires us to prepare ourselves as well as possible to face the future. Efforts that can be made include having international language skills, namely English. To have this ability, basic English training and mentoring activities are carried out for Magenta English Course students to gain opportunities and experience globally. These outreach activities include: 1) providing basic English material (self-introduction and daily activities); 2) providing assistance in the form of lecturing, questioning, and practicing; and 3) evaluating activities by asking for responses and suggestions regarding the benefits of training and mentoring activities have been done. The results of the community service activities show that the training and mentoring that was carried out was able to foster the interest and confidence of the Magenta English Course students in communicating in English.Persaingan dunia kerja yang semakin ketat menuntut kita mempersiapkan diri sebaik-baiknya untuk menghadapi masa yang akan datang. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya memiliki kemampuan berbahasa internasional yakni bahasa inggris. Untuk memiliki kemampuan ini, maka dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan bahasa inggris dasar pada siswa Magenta English Course untuk memperoleh kesempatan dan pengalaman secara global. Kegiatan pengabdiaan ini meliputi: 1) memberikan materi bahasa inggris dasar (self-introduction dan daily activities;, 2) melakukan pendampingan berupa lecturing, questioning, dan practicing; dan 3)  evaluasi kegiatan dengan meminta respon dan saran terkait manfaat kegiatan pelatihan dan pembimbingan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan mampu menumbuhkan minat dan rasa percaya diri siswa Magenta English Course dalam berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa inggris.

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide training to Caffe Boat Nanga To'i owners regarding digital marketing through the Instagram social media platform.The marketing system implemented by business owners is still lacking because it only uses face to face information. So it is hoped that this digital marketing development training can help increase sales of Caffe Boat Nanga To'i and contribute to increasing tourists at Nanga To'i Beach in Lasi Village. The method of implementing this service begins with the observation and interview stages, then assisting in creating Instagram accounts and taking photo spots, then providing Caffe Boat Nanga To'i marketing digitization training on Instagram accounts. The results of this service show that business owners understand the digital marketing system through Instagram social media and know what consumers need so that the business being run is able to compete with other competitors.Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada pemilik Caffe Boat Nanga To’i mengenai digital marketing melalui platform media sosial Instagram. Sistem pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh pemilik usaha masih tergolong kurang karena hanya menggunakan informasi face to face. Sehingga diharapkan dengan adanya pelatihan pengembangan digital marketing ini dapat membantu meningkatkan penjualan Caffe Boat Nanga To’i serta ikut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan wisatawan di Pantai Nanga To’i desa Lasi. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian ini diawali dengan tahap observasi dan wawancara, selanjutnya pendampingan pembuatan akun instagram dan pengambilan gambar spot-spot foto, kemudian memberikan pelatihan digitalisasi marketing Caffe Boat Nanga To’i di akun instagram. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilik usaha telah memahami sistem pemasaran digital melalui media sosial Instagram serta mengetahui apa saja yang dibutuhkan oleh konsumen agar bisnis yang sedang dijalankan mampu bersaing dengan kompetitor lainnya.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the direct and indirect effects of lifestyle, product features and prices on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions as an intervening variable (on iPhone smartphone users in Malang). This research is a type of explanatory research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the people in Malang City who use an unknown number of iPhone Smartphones with a research sample of 90 respondents using the non-probability sampling technique, namely snowball sampling. Data analysis testing was carried out using the PLS (Partial Least Square) application. The results of the study show that there is no influence between lifestyle and purchasing decisions. Lifestyle has no effect on consumer satisfaction. Price has no effect on consumer satisfaction. Product features and prices have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Product features and purchasing decisions have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Lifestyle does not affect consumers through purchasing decisions. Product features and price have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction which is mediated by purchasing decisions. Suggestions for future researchers are expected to add research samples to get maximum results or choose different objects and be able to replace existing variables such as loyalty, repurchase intention and social strata to provide a broad picture of the factors that influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal communication and work environment on job satisfaction in Universal UMKM. The data used in this study used primary data obtained from interviews, observations and questionnaires and secondary data obtained from documentation. The population of this study were all Universal UMKM employees, while the sample in this study was 40 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear analysis by testing the hypothesis using the F test and t test. The research shows that interpersonal communication and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. While partially interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation, motivation, and organizational commitment on employee performance at PT Nuroho Software Consulting Surabaya. The type of approach taken is a quantitative approach. With this type of research explanatory research. The sample used in this study were 71 employees using a saturated sample. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Testing the data used is testing the simultaneous hypothesis (Test F) and testing the partial hypothesis (Test t). The research results show that compensation partially affects the performance of employees at PT Nuroho Software Consulting Surabaya. Motivation partially does not affect employee performance at PT Nuroho Software Consulting Surabaya. Organizational commitment has no effect on employee performance at PT Nuroho Software Consulting Surabaya. While simultaneously compensation, motivation and organizational commitment have a significant effect on employee performance at PT Nuroho Software Consulting Surabaya. Keywords:Compensation, Motivation, Organizational Commitment and Employee Performance

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of quality product, price, and quality service on purchase decision at THRIFT MEGA STORE. The research used is a quantitative method. The population in this consumers for all groups in the THRIFT MEGA STORE, as many 115 consumers. While the sample used in this consumer were 100 samples. The data used is primary data using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is instrument test: validity and reliability test, normality test, classic assumption test: multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing: simultaneous test, partial test and coefficient of determination. From the results of the study simultaneously obtained results that product quality, price and service quality have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, product quality variables have a not significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, price variables have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions and service quality variables have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions .  Keywords: Quality of Product, price, quality of service, purchase decision

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality, infrastructure and promotion on increasing reading interest. The research used is a quantitative method. The population in this study were the students of the Al-Hikam Malang Islamic boarding school as many as 356 students. While the samples used in this study were 78 samples. The data used is primary data using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is instrument test: validity and reliability test, normality test, classic assumption test: multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing: simultaneous test, partial test and coefficient of determination. From the results of the study simultaneously obtained results that service quality, infrastructure and promotion have a significant effect on reading interest, service quality variable has a positive effect on reading interest, infrastructure variable has no significant positive effect on reading interest and promotion variable has no significant positive effect on reading interest . positive but not significant effect on reading interest Keywords: Quality of Service, Infrastructure, Promotion, Interest in Reading

Abstract

Abstract This research, which was done on students from the three main faculties of the Islamic University of Malang, intends to identify and assess the influence of brand image, influencers, and Instagram content marketing on the choice to buy Scarlett Whitening cosmetic goods. The research is quantitative in nature. The research sample was collected using a proportionate stratified random sampling methodology or a proportional stratified random sampling method based on the Maholtra formula, which divides the number of indicators by 5, resulting in a sample size of 90 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis is the data analysis technique used in this investigation. Using the (t test) for partial testing and (F test) for simultaneous testing of the hypotheses. The findings of this study suggest that brand perception, influencer, the choice to buy Scarlett Whitening cosmetic products is significantly influenced by both Instagram content marketing and. Influencers and Instagram content marketing have a substantial impact on buying choices for Scarlett Whitening cosmetic goods, whereas brand image and influencers have a minimal impact. Keywords: Brand Image, Influencer, Instagram Content Marketing, and Purchase Decision

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of brand awareness, brand image, and brand trust on Lenovo laptop purchasing decisions made by Lenovo laptop users in the city of Malang. The type of research used is quantitative. The sample for this study was taken using the accidental sampling technique or sampling that was carried out by chance, that is, anyone who met the researcher by chance could be used as a sample using the Maholtra formula, namely the number of indicators × 5 so that the total sample was 80 respondents. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Using (F test) for simultaneous hypothesis testing and (t test) for partial testing. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously brand awareness, brand image, and brand trust have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Lenovo laptops. Meanwhile, partially brand awareness has no significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image partially has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and brand trust has no significant effect on purchasing decisions for Lenovo laptops. Keywords: Brand Awereness, Brand Image, Brand Trust, and Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of personal characteristics, communication and organizational structure characteristics on organizational commitment. The research used is descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study were 463 UAM FEB UNISMA administrators for the 2020-2021 period. While the sample used is probability sampling with 82 samples. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously personal characteristics, communication, and organizational characteristics have a significant effect on organizational commitment, while partially organizational structure characteristics have no significant effect on organizational commitment. Keywords: Personal Characteristics, Communication, Organizational Structure Characteristics, Organizational Commitment
