Abstract

This study aims to analyze policy evaluation and curriculum development in Islamic educational institutions, especially at SDIT Insantama Leuwiliang, Bogor Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method which is carried out by collecting data obtained from documentation, observation and interviews. The results show that through policies and curriculum development that are evaluated periodically, SDIT Insantama Leuwiliang which was founded in 2011 is able to educate students to have an Islamic personality, have an Islamic knowledge, and understand their duties as representatives of Allah (Khalifatullah) on earth through talents, skills and expertise. The results also show that the vision and mission of SDIT Insantama Leuwiliang are in accordance with the vision and mission of Islamic educational institutions that are attached to the long-term ideals and goals of Islamic values, namely realizing mercy for all mankind. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the evaluation and development of Islamic education policies, to provide input to policy makers to take better steps. Evaluation is to determine the ability of students before taking lessons, as well as determining the field of study or majors that they will choose. Fourth, diagnostic evaluation, which is an evaluation aimed at knowing and analyzing the condition of students, both with regard to the difficulties encountered, as well as the obstacles encountered in teaching and learning activities. The research method used is qualitative with document study. Documents in the form of Regulation of the Minister of Religion, Director General of Education at the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, and Islamic Religious Education policies implemented in Schools/Madrasahs, other documents that support research on the implementation of Islamic Religious Education policies implemented in Madrasas. The results of this study are first, evaluation and development of education, assessment and measurement of all components of education implementation, in the form of improvements and changes that occur in students after they take part in learning. Second, evaluation and development of education in Islam is very necessary, with the aim of providing the best service for students, improving and developing education to suit the times. Third, in terms of objectives, evaluation consists of formative, summative, placement, and diagnostic evaluations. Fourth, evaluation and development must be carried out based on certain conditions and principles so that the evaluation results can be acknowledged as true, and accepted by the parties concerned. Abstract

Education is a shared responsibility between schools, families, communities and governments. Facing challenges in the world of education in the future, it takes the support of parents and the community in achieving educational goals. This study analyzes Education policies to increase parental and community participation, using qualitative methods with library research. The results of the study indicate that currently the participation of the community in education has been stated in various government policies, but in its implementation the participation of parents and the community is still not optimal. So that in its implementation, further policy efforts are needed from the school to increase the role of parents and the community. Efforts to increase the role of parents and the community through school committees need to be realized in School-Based Management: (1) building school ownership attitudes, (2) formulating school policies, (3) building quality awareness, (4) attention to academic life, and (5) build school institutional work arrangements. Related to the purpose of education to form the character of students who have noble character, it is necessary to have good cooperation and coordination between the school, parents and the community in the success of value-based education. The school must integrate the content of the value curriculum in each lesson. There is good cooperation with parents in education that is in line in the family. Value education in society provides children with an understanding of the implementation of value education in society. Keywords: Policy, Participation, Parent, Education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for the evaluation and development of value education in PAI. The method used is analytical description analysis with library research approach. Data is information obtained through books, magazines, newspapers and other literature that aims to form a theoretical basis. The results show that the evaluation and development of values education at PAI needs to be carried out so that the objectives of Islamic religious education can be achieved, namely to develop students who are faithful, devoted, and have noble character. For this reason, it is necessary in addition to consistency in the implementation of the concept but also research on the suitability of the implementation of the concept directly in the field so that cultural pluralism which more or less affects various elements of education can provide solutions in implementing national policies to the fullest.
