Abstract

Masalah yang sering dihadapi adalah kualitas kopi yang tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi seperti kadar air yang kurang panas dari mesin dan volume air yang keluar dari mesin tidak sesuai dengan standar sehingga kualitas kopi tidak maksimal, dan terdapat beberapa biji kopi yang mempunyai kualitas kurang maksimal, sehingga salah satu unsur penting yang menjadi penentu kualitas kopi sebelum sampai ke customer adalah kecakapan barista dalam proses pembuatan kopi tersebut. Berdasarkan latar belakang yang telah dijelaskan diatas, maka penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian yang berjudul “Analisis Biji Kopi Untuk Seorang Barista Di Café Excelso Vitka Point Tiban Kota Batam” penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana akan ada pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung dengan barista dan pelanggan excelso.

Abstract

Strategi bersaing yang diaplikasikan oleh Elora Coffee Roastery ialah tetap menjaga kualitas baik itu dari segi produk dan juga dari segi pelayanan. Kemudian setelah menjaga kualitas Elora Coffee Roastery juga menjaga konsistensi rasa yang diberikan. Selain itu Elora juga memberikan tempat yang nyaman dan strategis yang bisa membuat pelanggan yang datang merasa aman dan nyaman. Elora Coffee Roastery juga memiliki Keunggulan untuk dapat berkembang dan bertahan seperti mempunyai tempat yang nyaman dan lokasi yang strategis, harga yang terjangkau, unggul dari segi biji kopi yang disajikan, dan tentunya bisa menjaddi wadah belajar untuk para barista baru yang ingin terjun kedunia food and beverage. Setelah mempunyai strategi dan keunggulan yang dimiliki Elora Coffee Roastery, Rencana kedepannya yang akan diambil untuk dapat bertahan dan bersaing secara kompeten ialah menciptakn varian rasa baru yang unik dan berbeda dari Coffee Shop lain dan akan lebih aktif di sosial media agar menarik pengunjung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Menggunakan Metode Team Games Tournament. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Operasional penelitian ini dijabarkan menjadi empat tahap yang berupa siklus dimualai dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa Universitas Royal sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan metode Team Games Tournament. Instrumen penelitian dalam mengumpulkan data adalah tes awal, tes hasil belajar, wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh Jumlah skor yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan Pembelajaran pada siklus 1 di kelas dikategorikan kurang berhasil dengan rata-rata skor 2,6. Jumlah skor yang diperoleh pada siklus 2 dikategorikan kurang berhasil dengan rata-rata skor 2,8. Jumlah skor yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan Pembelajaran pada siklus 3 dikategorikan berhasil dengan rata-rata skor 3,8. Dengan demikian pada siklus 3 pelaksanaan pembelajaran dikategorikan berhasil

Abstract

Social service is an activity carried out by individuals or groups with the aim of helping and providing benefits to communities in need. Typically, these activities are carried out voluntarily without expecting material rewards, but rather focusing on social and humanitarian concerns. Social service often includes activities such as: Distribution of staple goods (basic necessities) to underprivileged communities. Free medical treatment for those unable to afford healthcare costs. Education and training to enhance the skills of the community. Donations for disaster victims or communities in distress. Environmental clean-up or other activities aimed at improving the quality of life. The main goal of social service is to help alleviate the burdens of others, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and create a society that is more caring for one another. These activities are usually carried out by social institutions, community organizations, or youth groups with a spirit of mutual cooperation.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding, skills, and attitudes of teachers, administrative staff, and students regarding excellent service implementation. This training employed the participatory action research (PAR) method, which actively involves all stakeholders in planning, executing, and evaluating the activity. The results indicate significant improvements in participants' understanding of the essential concepts of excellent service, including reliability (accuracy), responsiveness (quick response), empathy (emotional learning), assurance (trustworthiness), and tangibles (physical evidence). Participants experienced a shift in perspective, recognizing that excellent service is not merely administrative routines but a professional responsibility for building trust and satisfaction among service recipients. The training also highlighted a paradigm shift from traditional approaches to more participatory and solution-oriented practices, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous service improvement. Through simulations, case studies, and group discussions, participants were equipped with practical skills to apply excellent service concepts effectively. The impact of this training is reflected in improved service quality at MA Industri Al-Jabar, which contributes to enhancing the institution's credibility and satisfaction among students, parents, and the broader community. The findings emphasize the need for sustainable and ongoing training to ensure that excellent service becomes a core cultural practice within educational institutions.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the use of technology-based Goggle Class Room (GCR) communication media. Qualitative descriptive research method technique with data collection through questionnaires using google forms. The respondents of this study are students in the third (three) semester of the Management study program, Faculty of Economics, Asahan University for the 2023/2024 Academic Year who took the Business Communication course. The number of 50 respondents, representatives of 5 classes. Taken using purposive sampling technique covering 10 people per class. The results showed that the majority of respondents, 64%, said they "strongly agree" in the use of GCR learning media because it is very practical and efficient because it is used anytime and anywhere, so students can no longer reason if they are late in submitting assignments. GCR is an effective learning medium used by lecturers, as seen in the respondents' answers stating 58% on the criteria "strongly agree" and respondents' answers 86% on the criteria 'strongly agree". The conclusion of this study is that GCR learning media is a technology-based application that facilitates access between lecturers and students to discuss business communication lecture materials.

Abstract

This study aims to explore consumer perceptions of infused coffee products offered by Titik Kumpul Coffee Brewers in Batam City. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study examines how consumers assess the aspects of taste, appearance, health benefits, and innovation value of infused coffee. The results show that positive consumer perceptions are formed through the multisensory experience provided by the product, the shop atmosphere that supports the third-place concept, and a strong product narrative. These findings provide important implications for experiential marketing strategies and product innovation in the local coffee industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of using QRIS among Asahan University students, focusing on aspects of convenience, security, efficiency, and student acceptance of digital payment systems. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method, where data is collected through distributing questionnaires to students as respondents. The results showed that the majority of Asahan University students have used QRIS in their daily transaction activities, and generally gave positive responses to its use. Asahan University students stated that QRIS made non-cash transactions easier, and felt satisfied using it. In addition, students stated that QRIS helps reduce the risk of carrying cash, and consider this system efficient and in accordance with the needs of the times. QRIS is also considered to support a cashless lifestyle by Asahan University students. Nevertheless, there are challenges in the form of technical obstacles such as internet networks and limited understanding of some users. In addition, there are still some students who feel more comfortable using cash. Overall, this study concludes that QRIS is quite effectively used by Asahan University students as a practical, safe, and efficient digital payment tool. The findings also show that QRIS has great potential in strengthening digital financial literacy among the younger generation and encouraging the creation of a culture of non- cash transactions in the campus environmentKeywords: QRIS, Non-Cash Transactions, Effectiveness, digital payment system, Student Perception.

Abstract

Volume penjualan ialah jumlah hasil produk yang dihasilkan atau kegiatan penjualan yang didapatkan dari transaksi dengan ukuran tertentu. Salah satu strategi promosi yang sudah teruji dan banyak dilakukan adalah melakukan pada coffeeshop potongan harga (diskon) untuk menarik perhatian konsumen. Setiap konsumen menyukai potongan harga. Karena potongan harga tidak hanya menguntungkan konsumen namun juga menguntungkan bisnis itu sendiri. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana Analisis penerapan potongan harga (diskon) terhadap volume penjualan di Mr.B Coffee Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis SWOT. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan owner, waiters dan pengunjung.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, triangulasi data, analisis strategi SWOT. Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan, observasi, dokumentasi terdapat 8 kekuatan yang pertama pelayanan yang ramah, kualitas produk tetap terjaga, varian menu waffle menjadi unggulan, lokasi strategis, rasa minuman yang enak, mendapatkan rating tinggi di aplikasi ojek online, selanjutnya ditemukan 5 kelemahan yaitu ruangan tidak terlalu besar, menu tidak bervariasi, produk yang sering dilakukan potongan harga hanya 2 jenis minuman dan potongan harga yang terlalu sering bisa menurunkan persepsi eksklusivitas dan kualitas. Hasil selanjutnya peluang ditemukan 4 yaitu promosi produk baru, kerjasama dengan mitra bisnis local dan terdapat 3 ancaman yaitu penurunan margin keuntungan, ketergantungan konsumen pada potongan harga dan persaingan dengan coffeeshop lain. Berdasarkan gambar 4.4 titik koordinat berada di area kuadran II yaitu Strategi ST (Strenght-Threat) mengandalkan kekuatan internal yang dimiliki oleh organisasi agar dapat mengatasi atau mengurangi dampak dari ancaman yang ada di lingkungan eksternal.

Abstract

This research is an indication that the employee's performance is not maximal in Tanjung Balai City's Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Office. There are still many obstacles in carrying out tasks and employees cannot work optimally. The method used in this study is a survey approach. This type of quantitative descriptive research and the nature of research are explanations. Data collection method is by interview, questionnaire and documentation study. The population is all employees in the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism of the Tanjung Balai City, namely 38 employees and the number of employees from the entire population is 38 employees. The results showed that simultaneously there was a significant influence between job promotion, absenteeism and discipline on the performance of employees at the Office of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism of Tanjung Balai City and partially showed a significant influence between job promotion, absenteeism and discipline the performance of employees at the Tanjung Balai City Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Office and partially the most dominant influence on employee performance is discipline.
