Abstract

Abstract:This study aims at describing the mathematical representation of students with Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic and Phlegmatic personality types in solving linear program problems. The instrument used was a personality test adapted from the Personality Plus book by Florence Litteur. The data were collected by applying linear programming problems to the main subjects that represent each personality type. The results of Sanguine and Melancholy students only represented three indicators, the problem were not represented in the form of diagrams, graphs, tables or drawings, while, the Choleric and phlegmatic students represented problems in four indicators. Another finding, the sanguine students answered all the questions correctly but did not make the conclusions. The Choleric and melancholy students were less focus on the calculation process so there were some answers incorrectly, while all phlegmatic students answered incorrectly.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi matematis mahasiswa bertipe kepribadian sanguinis, korelis, melankolis dan phlegmatis dalam menyelesaian masalah program linier. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kepribadian yang diduplikasi dari buku Personality Plus karya Florence Litteur, lembar tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan dengan memberikan masalah program linier kepada subjek utama yang mewakili masing-masing tipe kepribadian, kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan indikator representasi matematis. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh, yaitu mahasiswa sanguinis dan melankolis hanya merepresentasikan tiga indikator, masalah tidak direpresentasikan dalam bentuk diagram, grafik, table atau gambar, sedangkan mahasiswa korelis dan phlegmatis merepresentasikan masalah dalam empat indikator. Temuan lain, mahasiswa sanguinis menjawab semua soal dengan benar namun tidak melakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Mahasiswa korelis dan melankolis kurang teliti dalam melakukan proses perhitungan sehingga ada soal yang dijawab salah, sedangkan mahasiswa phlegmatis semua soal dijawab salah.

Abstract

 Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperimen, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1) seberapa besar kemampuan numerik dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode Learning Cell berbasis Grup Investigation dan tanpa berbasis Grup Investigation pada kelas XI IPA MAN Baraka; 2) Ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan numerik dan hasil belajar fisika antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode Learning Cell berbasis Grup Investigation dan tanpa berbasis Grup Investigation  pada kelas XI IPA MAN Baraka. Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu the matching-only  posttest-only kontrol group  design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa  terdapat  perbedaan  kemampuan numerik antara  peserta didik  yang  diajar  dengan  metode  Learning Cell  Berbasis Group Investigation dan peserta didik yang diajar metode  Learning Cell  Berbasis Group Investigation serta tidak  terdapat  perbedaan  hasil  belajar  fisika  antara  peserta didik  yang  diajar  dengan  metode  Learning Cell  Berbasis Group Investigation dan peserta didik yang diajar metode  Learning Cell  Berbasis Group Investigation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan “(1) untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang diajar metode pembelajaran Scramble berbasis media interaktif Courselab di kelas XI MIA MAN Wajo, (2) untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode Scramble berbasis media Microsoft Power Point  dan (3) apakah metode pembelajaran Scramble berbasis media interaktif Courselab berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI MIA MAN Wajo”. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama empat kali pertemuan.Metodologi penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA MAN Wajo. Adapun sampelnya menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling Tipe Convience Sampling.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis deskriptif diperoleh skor rata-rata pemahaman konsep siswa dengan menggunkan metode Scramble berbasis media Courselab 6,36 dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan pemahaman konsep menggunakan media Microsoft Power Point adalah 5,78 dengan kategori cukup. Pemahaman konsep dengan menggunakan metode Scramble berbasis media Courselab dengan nilai signifikan 0,162/2 = 0,081 lebih besar dari 0,05 (0,081 ˃ 0,05) dan H0 diterima. Dengan demikian metode Scramble berbasis media Courselab lebih baik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dibandingan dengan metode Scramble berbasis media Microsoft Power Point.Implikasi dari penelitian ini yang diharapkan oleh peneliti adalah semoga Motode Scramble berbasis media Courselab digunakan oleh guru bidang studi fisika di sekolah yang bersngkutan, agar peseta didik tidak jenuh dengan pembelajaran yang monoton namun harus disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran yang akan diajarkan.

Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini mencoba mengemukakan beberapa analisis dan manfaat model pembelajaran yang kurang mendapat perhatian dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas maupun di luar kelas. Analisis model bertujuan untuk melihat kesesuaian model dengan materi ajar dan kondisi peserta didik serta kesiapan pengajar. Sedangkan manfaat model bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran bahwa model pembelajaran adalah salah satu penentu keberhasilan suatu pembelajaran. Disamping itu, juga dapat menjadi pertimbangan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.AbstractThis paper tries to present a number of analyzes and benefits of learning models that lack attention in teaching and learning activities in the classroom or outside the classroom. Model analysis aims to look at the suitability of the model with the teaching material and the condition of the students and the readiness of the teacher. While the benefits of the model aim to illustrate that the learning model is one of the determinants of the success of a learning. Besides that, it can also be a consideration in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui angket dan data pemahaman konsep matematika dikumpulkan melalui tes.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik infrensial. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent samplet T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan model reciprocal teaching motivasi belajar siswa yang sebelumnya 35% berada pada kategori tinggi kemudian meningkat menjadi 95%, dapat pula dilihat peningkatannya dari rata-rata motivasi belajar awal siswa yaitu 68,35 kemudian meningkat menjadi 84,00. Pemahaman konsep matematika siswa juga meningkat setelah diterapkannya model reciprocal teaching yang sebelumnya 15% berada pada kategori tinggi meningkat menjadi 55%, dengan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman konsep awal yaitu 46,50 meningkat menjadi 80,05. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching efektif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa.AbstractThe aims of this study were to improve the students' learning motivation and understanding mathematical concept by applying reciprocal teaching learning model. Data of learning motivation was collected through questionnaire and data of understanding mathematical concept was collected through tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive and infrential statistics. Hypothesis testing used was Independent Samplet Test. The findings showed that after the implementation of reciprocal teaching model, the students' motivation in learning improve from 35% to 95%. It could also be seen that the average of the students' initial learning motivation increased from 68.35 to 84.00. The understanding of the students' mathematical concept also improve after the implementation of reciprocal teaching model which previously was 15% in the high category increased to 55%, with an increase in the average of initial concept understanding from 46.50 to 80.05.  Thus, the application of reciprocal teaching learning model is effective to improve the students' learning motivation and understanding mathematical concept.

Abstract

Abstract:The study aimed to compare the cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Team Assisted individualization (TAI) types on the mathematical communication skill of class VIII students of State Junior High School 3 Sungguminasa of Gowa Regency. It was quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The study population was all the students of class VIII of State Junior High School 3 Sungguminasa. Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with independent sample t-test were used in analysing the data. Based on the results of the descriptive statistical analysis, the mean score of the students' mathematical communication skill using cooperative learning model of STAD type was about 65.63% at the high category and the rest score was at the very high category; while the mean score of the students’ mathematical communication skill using the cooperative learning model of TAI type was about 62.5% at the high category and the rest score was at very high category. Based on the inferential analysis, it was obtained the results that there were the differences of the mean scores of the students’ mathematical communication skill who possessed the STAD and TAI learning types, and TAI learning type was more effective than the STAD learning type to enhance the students' mathematical communication skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan regulasi diri terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Ex-postfacto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika sedangkan sampelnya dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling kelompok (sampling cluster). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kemandirian belajar dan regulasi diri, serta dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data dianalisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika berada pada kategori sedang, regulasi diri juga berada pada kategori sedang serta prestasi belajar mahasiswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Kemandirian belajar dan regulasi diri secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The ability to prove mathematically is one of the important abilities in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine students' mathematical proof ability. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, which involved 38 sixth semester students of the Mathematics Education Department, Tarbiyah and Teacher Training College, Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University with 3 of them being interview subjects. The instruments and data collection techniques used were researchers using diagnostic tests and interview guides. The analysis techniques used are data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing / verification. The result of this research is that the students' mathematical proving ability in working on the questions is not optimal. In the indicator of the ability to construct evidence, students are less able to make connections between known facts and the elements to be proven. Furthermore, on the indicator of the ability to read a proof, students are less able to use definitions as a basis for providing arguments.

Abstract

This thesis discusses cooperative learning model that Think Pair Share and The Power of Two on the subject of the Digestive System Student Class XI SMAN 1 Pallangga. With the aim of research to find out whether there are differences in learning outcomes of students who are taught by koopertaif learning model Think Pair Share and The Power of Two on the subject of the digestive system of class XI student of SMAN 1 Pallangga. This research is experimental form of Quasi Experimental Design (quasi-experimental) design study is a "Posttest-Only Control Design". The study population was all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pallangga. The research sample is class XI IPA4 as an experiment I and class II XI IPA7 as an experiment. Data collection was performed by using the test results in the form posttest study, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis techniques. Analysis of the data shows the results of student learning Class XI SMAN 1 Pallangga on the subject of the digestive system that is taught through cooperative learning model Think Pair Share and The Power of Two. First, the study of students who were taught through cooperative learning model Think Pair Share is in the low category with a percentage of 41.4% of 39 students and an average value of 54.25. Second, the study of students who were taught through cooperative learning model The Power of Two learning at high category with a percentage of 70% of the 30 students with an average value of 66.88. All three of the analytical results of hypothesis testing using t-test, thit value = 4.87 and ttab value = 1.67. Where the value of thit> ttab so H0 rejected, H1 accepted, thus there are differences in the average learning outcomes of students who were taught through cooperative learning model Think Pair Share and types The Power of Two on the subject of the digestive system of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pallangga Gowa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) a description of the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMPN 22 Sinjai, (2) a description of the motivation to learn mathematics of students at SMPN 22 Sinjai, (3) a description of the mathematics learning achievement of students of SMPN 22 Sinjai.The type of research used is quantitative with the ex post facto method. The sample in this study is the entire population, namely 60 students. The results showed that the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMPN 22 Sinjai was in the medium category. Students' motivation to learn mathematics is in the medium category. Students' mathematics learning achievement is in the medium category. There is a positive relationship between interest in learning and mathematics learning achievement of students at SMPN 22 Sinjai.. There is a positive relationship between learning motivation and student mathematics achievement. Learning interest and learning motivation simultaneously or collectively have a positive relationship to variable Y or learning achievement. That is, the higher the interest in learning and student motivation to learn together, the student achievement will increase, and vice versa.
