Abstract

Intoduction: ARI disease is still one of the important public health problems to be considered because it is an acute disease and can even cause death. Data obtained from the ARI Poly at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City, in the last 3 years has always experienced the highest ARI cases in Bnegkulu City, in 2020 there were 354 cases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the Working Area of the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu city in 2021. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The sample amounted to 100 respondents with simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate (using chi square test with α=0.05) using SPSS 16 software. Result and Discussion: The results showed that more than half of the respondents had smoking habits of family members, more than half of the respondents had residential density, more than half of the respondents had LBW, more than half of the respondents experienced ARI at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2021. Based on the bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a significant relationship between the smoking habits of family members and the incidence of ARI, there is a significant relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of ARI and there is a significant relationship between LBW and the incidence of ARI at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City, 2021. Conclusion: It is expected that health workers at the Sukamerindu Health Center continue to carry out health promotion measures in the form of education to increase knowledge about what risk factors can cause ARI and how to prevent it.

Abstract

WHO data shows that around 13 million people were infected from drinking water refills infected with E-Coli bacteria. The data in Indonesia shows that 19.7% of drinking water depots do not meet the requirements contain E-Coli. In Bengkulu Province, there were 48 depots that did not meet the requirements containing E-Coli. In Muko-Muko Regency, E-Coli bacteria were found in 24 depots. The aim of the research is to know the relationship between the equipment and monitoring of refill drinking water depot processing and the existence of E-coli in Mukomuko Regency. This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the research were 64 respondents. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results showed that a small portion of the depot identified as E-Coli was 6.2%, a small portion of the depot that was not supervised was 6.2%, a small portion of the depot equipment did not meet the requirements of 9.4%. There is a significant relationship between depot equipment and the presence of E-Coli (p = 0.002), there is no significant relationship between the supervision of refill drinking water depot processing and the presence of E-Coli in Muko-Muko Regency (p = 0.233). It is hoped that the further research will be able to look at other risk factors using multivariate analysis.

Abstract

Menarche is the first menstruation that occurs due to a complex hormonal system process. After the five senses receive stimulation that is forwarded to the center and processed by the hypothalamus, continued with the hypophysis through the follicular system, gonadotropic follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone are released to stimulate the ovaries. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), stimulates primordial follicles which in their journey predominantly secrete estrogen hormones so that growth and development of secondary sex characteristics occur. The purpose of this research was to determine the Factors That Influence Menstruation With Readiness to Face Menarche in SDIT Al Qudwah G1. Mataram Students. The research method used is an analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach, data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 90 respondents. In SDIT Al Qudwah G1.Mataram students, the sampling technique used total sampling. The univariate results showed that respondents were aged 10 to 14 years with the largest number at the age of 14 years, namely (24.4%), Most students' knowledge about menarche was sufficient, namely (77.8%). The source of information obtained by students about menarche was (60.0%). The results of the bivariate analysis There is a correlation between knowledge and readiness to face menarche at SDIT Al Qudwah, where the P value = 0.000 P <0.05). The results of this research will add references, and prove whether or not there is knowledge, sources of information with students' readiness to face menarche at SDIT al qudwah. In addition, the results of this research can increase students' knowledge.

Abstract

There are 1712 people with hypertension in Kaur Regency in 2020. (Kaur District Health Office, 2020). Data from the Bintuhan Health Center in Kaur Regency show that there will be 138 people with hypertension in 2020 and 147 people in 2021. Knowing the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension at the Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2022. This study used a descriptive quantitative research type with an analytic survey research method using a Cross Sectional design using a total sampling technique with a sample of 76 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p value=0.022), family history (p value=0.012), knowledge (p value=0.005), obesity (p value=0.015) and the incidence of hypertension at the Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur District in 2022. there is an increase in health promotion by health workers in the community regarding improving the quality of life through healthy living behaviors and avoiding risk factors for hypertension.

Abstract

The data from WHO, the prevalence of stunting in 2022 is 33.6%. The prevalence of stunting in Asia in 2022 is 33.0%. SSGI data on the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia in 2022 is 21.6%, this figure is still above the standard of 20%. SSGI data of Bengkulu Province in 2022, the prevalence of stunting is 19.8%, this figure is not in accordance with the target that has been set at 18.84%. South Bengkulu Regency is one of the regency that has experienced an increase in the stunting prevalence rate from 20.8% to 23.2%. Stunting data at Seginim Health Center increases in every year. The aim of the research is to analyze the incidence of stunting among toddlers in the working area of Seginim Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the study was 78 respondents. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The research results showed that a small portion of respondents experienced stunting at 29.5%, the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge at 51.3%, a small portion of respondents had income < minimum wage at 23.1%, almost half of the respondents did not breastfeed exclusively at 42.3%. There is a significant correlation between knowledge (p=0.000), income (p=0.002), infectious diseases (p=0.007) and the incidence of stunting at Seginim Health Center, South Bengkulu. It is hoped that further research can be carried out to look at other risk factors using more in-depth research design and analysis.

Abstract

Gouty arthritis is an inflammation of the joints. WHO data in 2022, shows the prevalence of gouty arthritis in the world is 41.2%. Riskesdas data on the prevalence of gouty arthritis in Indonesia has increased by 11.9%. Cases of gouty arthritis from the Mukomuko Health Office data in 2022 were 248 cases. The aim of the study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Gout Arthritis at the Bantal Health Centre, Mukomuko Regency. This research is a quantitative research using cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the study were 78 respondents. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results showed that almost half of the respondents suffered from Gouty Arthritis by 38.5%, most of the respondents had an age < 60 years as many as 57 respondents (73.1%), most of the respondents were female as many as 56 respondents (71.8%), almost all of the respondents had BMI ≤ 25 as many as 65 respondents (83.3%), there was a significant relationship between age (p = 0.000), gender (p = 0.000) with the incidence of gouty arthritis, there was no significant relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of gouty arthritis at Puskesmas Bantal, Mukomuko Regency (p = 0.118). It is hoped that further research can look at other risk factors using a more in-depth research design and analysis.

Abstract

Coronary heart disease causes 15% mortality in the world. In Indonesia, 220,372 people died during 2022 due to heart disease. CHD cases at Muko-Muko Hospital in 2021 were 56 and experienced an increase in 2022 of 62 cases. CHD death cases in 2021 were 8 cases, and there was an increase in 2022 of 18 cases. The purpose of the study was to find out the risk factors associated with the incidence of coronary heart disease at the Regional General Hospital of Muko-Muko Regency. This study uses quantitative methods with a Case Control Study approach and sampling techniques using consecutive sampling techniques with a total sample of 62 cases and 62 controls. Instruments in this study used questionnaires and observation sheets. The research analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had an age ≥ 40 years by 52.4%, most of the respondents had secondary education by 50.0%, most of the respondents had a history of hypertension by 55.6%, some of the respondents smoked ≥ 12 cigarettes per day by 58.1%. The results of bivariate analysis of age (p = 0.000; OR = 11.9), history of hypertension (p = 0.000; OR = 9.4), smoking habits (p = 0.000; OR = 16.5), and stress (p = 0.000; OR = 17.1) are significantly related to the incidence of coronary heart disease in Kaur Regional General Hospital. It is recommended that there is a need for increased health promotion by health workers in the community about improving the quality of life through healthy living behaviour and avoiding risk factors for CHD.

Abstract

The elderly are an aging population and require a process of adaptation to various changes in function and environmental stress caused by a decrease in the body's ability (Listyarini & Alvita, 2018). In the world, the number of elderly people ranges from ≥629 million people (Susanti, Mila, 2017). According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of pre-elderly and elderly people in Kaur Regency in 2021 will be 130,266 people (BPS, 2021). According to the health profile of Kaur Regency in 2021, only 11,7204 elderly people receive health services out of a target number of 130,266 people in the working area of the Muara Saung Health Center and is the lowest in Kaur District. The aim of this research is to find out the factors related to the utilization of the elderly posyandu in the working area of the Muara Saung Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2022. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were all elderly people at the Muara Saung Health Center in Kaur Regency in 2021, with a total of 288. The sample was taken in this study using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The number of samples used in this study were 74 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the utilization of the elderly posyandu in the working area of the Muara Saung Health Center, Kaur Regency, in 2022 with a value of p = 0.017. there is a relationship between family support and the use of the elderly Posyandu in the working area of the Muara Saung Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2022 with a value of p = 0.008. There is a relationship between the role of cadres and the utilization of the elderly posyandu in the working area of the Muara Saung Health Center, Kaur Regency in 2022 with a value of p=0.023. Suggestions can add insight in the health sector, especially regarding the elderly posyandu at the Muara Saung Health Center, Kaur Regency

Abstract

WHO predicts an increase in the number of DM patients in Indonesia to around 21.3 million in 2030. Indonesia is ranked fourth in the world for the number of DM sufferers. The Basic Health Research Report in 2018 had the 2nd highest mortality aged 45-54 year group at 14.7%. Data from Hasanudin Damrah Hospital, the number of DM sufferers in 2021 was 902 cases, in 2022 there were 602 and in 2023 from January to June there were 497. Data from health workers at Hasanudin Damrah Hospital said that many DM sufferers did not check their blood sugar levels. The aim of the research is to determine a correlation between education and family support and regular control of blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus sufferers at Hasanudin Damrah Manna Hospital. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the study was 69 respondents. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The results of the research were that most of the respondents had a secondary education level, 41 respondents (59.4%), most of the respondents did not have family support, 37 respondents (53.6%), some of the respondents had irregular control of blood sugar levels, 38 respondents (55.1%). There is a significant correlation between education (0.000) and family support (0.004) with regular control of blood sugar levels at Hasanudin Damrah Manna Hospital. It is hoped that further research can be carried out to look at the aspect of external support for regular control of blood sugar levels in DM sufferers.

Abstract

Bronchitis is an airway disease that is often found in the community and is a health problem because of its chronic, persistent, and progressive nature (Soegito, 2020). Bronchitis cases in 2022 increased very rapidly from no previous cases to 136 cases. (Rupit Hospital, 2022). The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of bronchitis at the Rupit Regional General Hospital, North Musi Rawas Regency. This study is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. The research sample was 69 respondents. Data analysis was performed with the chi-square test with a significance level of 95% using SPSS 16 software. The results of univariate analysis showed, 20 (29.0%) respondents smoked ≥20 btg/per day, 16 (23.2%) respondents had risky jobs and had respondents who had a family history of 21 people (30.4%). The results of bivariate analysis showed there was a significant relationship between smoking habits Value p = 0.000. Occupation Value p = 0.038 and Family History Value p = 0.033 with the incidence of Bronchitis < α - 0.05 at the Rupit Regional General Hospital, North Musi Rawas Regency in 2023. It is hoped that the Rupit Regional General Hospital of Musi Rawas Regency will always improve services in order to achieve patient satisfaction. Hospitals have an obligation to ensure that patients are satisfied with the health services that have been provided and ensure that all health workers have provided what patients are entitled to.
