Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in fraction mathematics at SD IT Al Jadid through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with direct observation and analysis of student learning outcomes. The learning process was carried out for four weeks, involving 20 students who were divided into groups to complete a fraction modeling project. The results showed that the use of various learning resources, including multimedia, successfully increased students' interest and understanding. Formative and summative assessments showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with many students achieving scores above the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Although there were obstacles such as anxiety during presentations and lack of knowledge about local wisdom, the solutions implemented, such as emotional support and discussion sessions, successfully addressed these problems. This study concluded that the PJBL model was effective in improving fraction mathematics learning outcomes and encouraging students' social skills. Suggested follow-ups include improving material preparation, presentation training, and integrating local cultural elements into learning. Thus, the implementation of the PJBL model not only improves academic outcomes, but also builds self-confidence and collaboration between students, which are very important in a holistic learning process. This research is expected to be a reference for educators in implementing innovative and effective learning methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) saat pandemik Covid-19 di SDIT At-Taufiq Kota Bogor dengan focus evaluasi pada komponen konteks dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan melalui display data, reduksi data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi data. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Evaluasi komponen konteks memiliki nilai kriteria “amat baik”. Kriteria ini diperoleh dari 3 aspek komponen konteks (analisis kebutuhan program, tujuan program dan legalitas program) yang memperoleh nilai amat baik. Dengan demikian, secara konteks, program BDR di SDIT At-Taufiq Kota Bogor relevan dan konsisten untuk fasilitasi pembelajaran serta memiliki legalitas dalam penyelenggaran program.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru dalam pembelajaran IPS menjadi salah satu hal yang membosankan, karena pembelajaran lebih berpusat pada guru sehingga interaksi guru dan siswa terbatasi. Konsep pembelajaran berpusat pada penugasan dan hal ini dapat berpengaruh pada beban kognitif siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar IPS ditinjau dari minat belajar siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain faktorial 2x2. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purpose random sampling, sehingga sampel diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing berjumlah 56 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Make A Match lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional. 2). Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang memiliki minat belajar tinggi dengan strategi pembelajaran Make A Match dibandingkan strategi pembelajaran konvensional. 3). Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang memiliki minat belajar rendah dengan strategi pembelajaran Make A Match lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional. 4). Terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran Make A Match dan strategi pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan masa mereka membutuhkan pengakuan akan kemampuannya dari orang lain. Fenomena ini merupakan indikasi dari dekadensi karakter yang pada dasarnya tidak memiliki kedisiplinan dan contoh karakter bangsa yang bertentangan dengan visi misi pendidikan nasional. Kurangnya disiplin dapat berakibat melemahnya motivasi seseorang untuk melakukan sesuatu. Oleh karena itu, betapa pentingnya menegakkan disiplin agar sesuatu yang diinginkan dapat tercapai dengan tepat waktu. Untuk menanamkan karakter yang religius, cerdas dan berkarakter disiplin, sepertinya untuk pendidikan dasar tidak cukup hanya mengandalkan proses pembelajaran di kelas saja. Kurikulum pendidikan dasar yang ada di sekolah adalah pendidikan ekstrakurikuler pramuka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Model eval_uasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model eval_uasi CIPP. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan analisis hasil eval_uasi yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, didapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa program ekstrakurikuler pramuka dalam membentuk karakter disiplin di SDN Rambutan 03 sudah terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) carried out in Labuan Regency aim to improve the ability of elementary schools to develop STEAM learning evaluation tools based on local culture. The main target audience of this training activity is elementary school teachers in the Labuan Banten sub-district. Based on the identification of the problem, it is known that elementary school teachers in Labuhan lack training in the development of evaluation tools, especially in STEAM learning. As a teacher, the ability to develop evaluation tools is needed to see student development. The target to be achieved in the implementation of this PKM is to increase the knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in developing STEAM learning evaluation tools based on local culture. The method of implementing this community service activity is to use a training method that is packaged into two activities, namely seminars and workshops. The training activity began with a one-day seminar with an offline method to provide material on the scope of local culture-based STEAM learning evaluation tools, furthermore, the teachers trained themselves to develop evaluation tools with assistance from the PKM Team through online methods. The output of this service activity is a local culture-based STEAM learning evaluation tool developed by teachers and scientific publications. The results of this PkM are 3 packages of evaluation tools.

Abstract

Assessment is a critical subsystem in the overall learning process. However, teachers still face challenges in developing assessments, particularly those that align with Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The results of a needs analysis indicated that teachers at the partner schools require urgent training and guidance in creating both formative and summative assessment instruments. The Community Service Program (PkM) was conducted at SD Negeri Marga Mulya VI, Bekasi City. The PkM activities were based on the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach and consisted of six stages. The outcomes of this PkM activity include: (1) the successful implementation of training and assistance in the development of assessment instruments, enabling teachers to understand and create assessment tools; (2) the creation of assessment instruments by teachers, which can now be utilized in the learning process; and (3) positive responses from teachers, who reported that the PkM activities significantly benefited them in preparing and applying assessments in teaching. The outcomes of this PkM initiative can be further followed up through discussions and dissemination within the school's Learning Community to deepen understanding.

Abstract

Salah satu implementasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) yang dapat mendukung penulisan karya ilmiah adalah ChatGPT. Penggunaan prompt pada ChatGPT dengan teknik yang baik dan efektif mampu menghasilkan tulisan yang memiliki nilai ilmiah. Guru bertanggung jawab untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), namun sering kesulitan ketika menyampaikan hasil PTK dalam tulisan ilmiah. Hal serupa juga terjadi pada guru-guru di SMAN 1 Tangerang Selatan. Oleh karena itu, tim dosen pengabdian mengadakan pelatihan peningkatan kualitas profesionalisme guru dengan menggunakan ChatGPT dalam penulisan karya ilmiah berbasis PTK. Dalam kegiatan ini, guru dibimbing mulai dari penulisan hingga pengiriman ke jurnal ilmiah. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan membentuk kelompok kecil dan menerapkan metode hybrid (online dan offline). Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pelatihan, 57% peserta belum mengenal ChatGPT dan 24% belum pernah melakukan PTK. Namun, setelah pelatihan, 97% peserta merasa ChatGPT membantu dalam penulisan karya ilmiah dan 100% berkomitmen untuk melaksanakan PTK demi peningkatan hasil pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) on enhancing critical thinking skills in an open and distance learning (ODL) environment, focusing on a biology education program. The research employed a pre-experimental one-group posttest-only design with 35 students participating in online sessions. These sessions involved formulating questions, designing experiments, conducting observations, and analyzing data. Quantitative analysis using percentages, means, standard deviations, and regression revealed that over 75% of students achieved very good performance in key areas like formulating hypotheses and designing experiments. The regression analysis confirmed that IBL significantly affected critical thinking skills (R² = 0.849; p = 0.05). The study concludes that a systematic learning design that encourages active learning and provides continuous feedback is crucial for developing critical thinking skills in ODL settings. These findings provide insights for curriculum developers and educators to optimize IBL implementation, thereby enhancing educational outcomes and fostering independent learning in distance education environments. Further research is suggested to refine this approach and ensure deeper understanding and application of scientific principles.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of a differentiated Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in learning Pancasila Education with the material “Becoming a Great Child by Applying Norms” in grade V elementary school. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The research subjects were 13 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Buran. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that the implementation of differentiated PBL effectively increased students' active participation, critical thinking skills, and their understanding of the application of norms in daily life. Differentiation is applied through variations in content, process, and product that are tailored to students' learning needs. In addition, the PBL model used provides meaningful learning experiences involving real problem solving. This study concludes that differentiated PBL is effective in increasing student engagement as well as concept understanding, and provides positive implications for the development of 21st century skills. This study recommends that teachers adopt PBL methods with differentiation in mind to create more inclusive learning that meets students' needs.

Abstract

This research describes the science learning outcomes of elementary school students who have high self-effecacy learning using the guided inquiry method assisted by books. The research was conducted on grade elementary school students in four public elementary schools in Tambora District,West Jakarta. Data collection was crried out using self-efficacy instruments (questionnaires) and science learning outcomes instruments (tests). The research results show that students with high self-efficacy learn using the guided inquiry method with the help of videos, and student with low self-efficacy learn with the help of books. Students with high self-efficacy get higher results ompared to students with low self-efficacy.The conclusion is that learning science using the video-assisted guided inquiry method for students with high self-efficcy get higher science learning outcomes compared to student with low efficacy.
