Abstract

Biji Kopi diolah dengan berbagai cara pengolahan yaitu pengolahan basah dan pengolahan kering.Tahapan pengolahan basah kopi robusta yang sangat menentukan mutu adalah fermentasi.Pengeringan kopi merupakan salah satu tahapan terpenting dalam pengolahan biji kopi. Kadar air berperan penting pada proses pengeringan terhadap kualitas biji kopi.Pengeringan merupakan yang sangat penting pada pengolahan kopi, tanpa pengeringan yang baik kualitas biji kopi tidak akan maksimal.Prinsip kerja alat ini berfungsi sebagai pengering biji kopi berbasis internet of things ,dengan alat ini pengeringan biji kopi lebih cepat.Sensor DHT-22 membaca kelembaban dan suhu pada ruangan pengeringan,dimana standarisasi untuk proses pengeringan biji kopi pada suhu 55’C dan kelambaban 15% RH agar kopi dapat kering secara maksimal.Pada alat ini menggunakan aplikasi blynk yang memungkinkan melakukan monitoring dari jarak jauh.Pada perancangan elektronik setiap komponen dihubungkan dengan Arduino yang berfungsi sebagai ‘otak’ dari alat pengering biji kopi ini. Untuk catu daya dari arduino menggunakan sumber dari panel surya dan DC adaptor dengan tegangan 12V, akan tetapi dapat digunakan opsi lain dengan menghubungkan sumber AC 220V. Pengujian alat pengering biji kopi ini dapat dijlalankan dengan menggunakan sistem otomatis dan manual yang mana dapat dikontrol melalui aplikasi blynk. Hasil pengujian alat pengering biji kopi ini dengan menggunakan aplikasi blynk sebagai interface diperoleh hasil pengujian sensor DHT-22 memiliki perbedaan terhadap pembanding sebesar 1–5°C ,sedangkan kelembaban hasil pengujian memiliki perbedaan terhadap pembanding sebesar 2-15%,sedangkan untuk hasil pengujian pemanas dan sirkulasi udara alat ini berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Education is the key to improving the quality of superior human resources (HR) capable of responding to future challenges. Education aims for each individual to have the useful experience that comes from the teaching and learning process so that they have the desired human resources. Quality human resources can only be obtained from a quality education process. Jobsheet is a learning medium in the form of work procedures and guidelines for students or when doing practicum which contains materials and instructions for practicum implementation. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental research design with a One Shot Case Study design. The research aimed at developing the job sheet for the Equipment Safety and Earthing Practice course, D3 Electrical Engineering Study Program, FT UNP and knowing the level of validity of the job sheet for the Equipment Safety and Earthing Practice course, D3 Electrical Engineering Study Program, Department of Electrical Engineering, FT UNP. This research involved two lecturers as validators who are experts in their fields, namely media experts and material experts. In the media expert's assessment, the results of the testers were very good and declared valid. Whereas in the material expert assessment, the results obtained from the testers were very good and declared valid. Meanwhile, the practicality test conducted on 19 students obtained very good and stated results. So, by obtaining the results of the research conducted, it is expected that the jobsheets developed can be useful for lecturers and students for future practicum lectures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Electric Motor Installation class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan. It is difficult for students to obtain learning outcomes according to predetermined standards because the teacher dominates learning activities so that students do not actively participate during the learning process. This research is using experimental method. The research design is a Pre-Experimental Design with the form used by One Group Pretest Posttest. The subjects in the study were students of class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 26 people. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest questions, attitude assessment, and skills assessment. The data obtained from the pretest and posttest results were analyzed using the analysis of the learning completeness of the students so that the number of students whose scores were above the KKM in the posttest was obtained more than in the pretest. Data on the attitudes and skills of students were analyzed using attitude competency assessment and skills competency assessment so that student scores were already at the predicate A (very good) and B (good). Thus, the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in increasing student learning outcomes in the subject of Electric Motor Installation class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activeness of students in the basic subjects of electronic electricity in class XI of SMKS Muhammadiyah 1 Padang by using the PjBL learning method. This study uses quantitative descriptive research methods by means of survey method research. The subject of this study was a grade XI TITL student at SMKS Muhammadiyah 1 Padangi in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year consisting of 9 students. The data collection method uses learning tool validity questionnaires validated by media experts and material experts and practicality questionnaires filled out by students and teachers. The results of the study obtained the validity of media and materials with valid categorization, where the media learning tools with the application of the PjBL method are feasible to use. The results of teacher practicality research using PjBL are categorized as good. The results of student practicality research using PjBL are also good. Thus, the application of the PjBL learning method in basic electronic electricity subjects can increase student activeness and is feasible to be applied in class XI of SMKS Muhammadiyah 1 Padang.

Abstract

The use of the internet at the Cersa Pasaman Vocational High School (SMK) is still not optimal, the internet is only used for school information and there is no school financial information system. Based on observations, tuition payments at schools are still manual and make the work of the finance department slower. This type of research is research and development data retrieval is carried out to users of the web-based SPP payment information system. The research sample consisted of 30 people consisting of 5 people for a limited trial and 25 people for a wider trial taken from the principal, Administration Officer, teachers and students of SMK Cersa Pasaman, the instrument of this research was a questionnaire to determine the feasibility of the SPP payment information system. The results obtained from this research development is a web-based tuition payment information system. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the developed information system is declared valid with an average value of 85.67%. The information system developed was very practical from the results of the limited trial to teachers and students with an average value of 92.60%, while the results of a wider trial obtained an average value of 92.68%. Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that the web-based SPP payment information system at SMK Cersa Pasaman was valid, practical and feasible to use for student tuition payments.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi khususnya dibidang komputerisasi dan elektronika saat ini sangat pesat. Teknologi yang dikembangkan bertujuan untuk membantu memberikan keamanan, baik keamanan diri maupun keamanan terhadap barang-barang berharga dan dokumen-dokumen penting agar terhindar dari tindak kriminal khususnya tindakan pencurian. Sejumlah sistem pengaman modern telah diciptakan antara lain dengan menggunakan fingerprint sensor pada handle pintu, atau dengan sistem suara. Selama ini sistem membuka kunci pintu pada umumnya menggunakan kontrol akses fisik, seperti penggunaan tombol dan kartu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun keamanan pintu otomatis menggunakan Face Recognition berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Dalam pembuatan pintu otomatis ini akan mengunakan alat diantaranya Arduino Mega2560, ESP32 CAM, Fingerprint, Push Button, Relay, Solenoid Doorlock, LCD, Motor Servo, dan Buzzer. Adapun perangkat lunak (software) yang digunakan yaitu Arduino IDE dan Telegram. Hasil dari pembuatan alat keamanan pintu otomatis ini yaitu manfaat serta keamanan yang lebih kepada pengguna dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This paper investigates industry perceptions regarding the relevance of the courses in the curriculum provided by universities and whether they are in accordance with the demands that exist in the industrial world. This research uses a descriptive survey method. The sample taken from electrical engineering alumni who worked in industry was 242 people. This research uses a stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used is a 4-point scale. The assessment was rated Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree with weights of 4, 3, 2, and 1, respectively. Three vocational education experts validated the instrument. Reliability was performed with Aiken-V. The questionnaire contains 34 questions. Research data was analysed by percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings show that the soft skills and hard skills achieved in each course in the curriculum are arranged in accordance with industry needs. Soft skills and hard skills in the curriculum can be provided to students so that they can look for related jobs.

Abstract

Mobile-based gamification learning is increasingly popular for enhancing student interest and motivation in the learning process, including its application in evaluating learning outcomes. However, the practicality of its use, from the perspective of students as users, needs further evaluation. This study aims to assess the practicality of mobile-based gamification assessment (M-BGA) in evaluating student learning outcomes in the Electrical Machine Course (EMC). M-BGA was developed using Kahoot! application. A survey-based quantitative research design was employed, using the Practicality Assessment Instrument (PAI) as the data collection tool. The practicality of M-BGA was evaluated based on student assessments after its implementation in an EMC. This research involved 83 second-year students from the Industrial Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. The results indicate a high level of practicality in several aspects. The Ease of Use aspect scored 92.23% (highly practical), the Reliability aspect scored 89.82% (highly practical), the Student Engagement aspect scored 88.55% (highly practical), and the Learning Impact aspect scored 90.19% (highly useful). Overall, based on student responses, the M-BGA proved to be highly practical in evaluating student learning outcomes in the EMC. M-BGA can serve as an alternative approach for assessing student learning outcomes with an innovative approach.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test an E-learning model for effective English teaching for class XI students in the Computer Network Engineering program at SMKN 3 Batam. This model aims to improve the quality of English language learning in the digital era. It follows a research and development (R&D) process that includes four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the evaluation results, this E-learning learning model has succeeded in increasing interactivity between students and teachers, increasing access to learning materials, and raising students' enthusiasm for learning English. It helps the independent development of English language skills through interactive activities, exercises, and online exams. Based on research findings, the effectiveness of the E-learning model is in the medium category, with a Gain Score test score of 0.54 indicating its success in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that this e-learning model is valid, practical, and effective, offers an alternative English language learning that is innovative, effective, and relevant in the digital era, and can serve as a model for other schools interested in implementing language learning. Abstract

Objectives from the study This is an instrument for reliable online project-based learning assessment for vocational education students. Study This uses 10 procedures for the non-ttest instrument developed by Mardapi. The population study covers the whole Electrical Engineering Education student’s year at the First Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The sample consists of the 250 students selected through two stages: the trial stage, which uses the cluster random sampling method, and the stage measurement, which uses the simple random sampling method. Data analysis was performed using validity tests using the Aiken index as well as validity and reliability tests. Findings study These are (1) instruments. The assessment of project-based learning online consists of 30 valid and reliable items, so it can be used by lecturers.
