Abstract

To improve the learning achievement of students in school, it is necessary to provide assistance that can overcome them in the learning process. But it is not easy. It is better to help learners in overcoming learning difficulties, the number of occurrences of participants who have learned difficulties. Measuring the prevalence of learning difficulties in madrasas is necessary, as this will be related to the diagnosis of learning difficulties and what programs are appropriate to learners. By knowing the prevalence of learning difficulties learners in madrasah, it will help teachers in providing appropriate assistance to these learners. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri I Bandar Lampung is a madrasah Aliyah which has a lot of students. Based on the results of interviews with teachers counseling and guidance in the madrasah there are numbers of students whose learning achievement are low and have difficulty learning (Interview with Miss Dina Kurniasih). The formulation of this research problem: How to profile students's learning difficulties in MAN I Bandar Lampung? and How much is the prevalence of learning difficulties in MAN I Bandar Lampung? Based on the results of data analysis, this study can be concluded that the prevalence of learning difficulties in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri I Bandar Lampung is 26, 2%. The prevalence of learning difficulties is more prevalent in Gentelmant students than in female students. While the residence of students and departments does not determine the prevalence of learning difficulties. It may be said that place of residence and departement of students do not show differences in the prevalence of learning difficulties experienced of the students

Abstract

Each individual must have different motivation to learn, some are low, and some are high. Students' motivation to learn can be expressed from outside or within the individual. The result of low learning motivation is not being excited during the learning process. Low learning motivation can work for anyone. This problem occurs in 29 State Junior High School, Bandar Lampung students experience low learning motivation with characteristics such as chatting, sleeping, not paying attention while in the learning process. So it is necessary to increase the motivation to learn by using hypnotherapy. This study aims to reveal the effect of hypnotherapy on learning motivation, followed by students. This research is quantitative with a Quasi-Experimental research type, and One group pretest-posttest design research design. The results show the difference between before and after being given hypnotherapy. So it can be denied that hypnotherapy affects learning motivation in students. Hypnotherapy can arouse students' enthusiasm in learning and can suggest various positive things that aim to increase self-confidence, motivation, and a positive self-image.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the skills and proficiency of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance students in using basic counseling skills in individual counseling sessions. This research uses qualitative research methods with Case Studies research design with multiple case studies. The data collection technique used by the researcher is a purposive sample in data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Islamic Education Counseling Guidance students used thirteen basic counseling skills: attending, reflection, exploration, confrontation, open-ended questioning, closed-ended questioning, leading, focusing, tentatively concluding, clarifying, facilitating, concluding, and closing. Some basic counseling skills have not been used, such as paraphrasing, minimal encouragement, interpretation, directing, silence, taking the initiative, advice, and information. What carried out the evaluation results after the individual counseling session ended, the counselee was satisfied with the service, and they said they felt helped. The service process provided by the counselor to the counselee will be much more optimal if the counselor or prospective counselor continues to improve their competence and uses all the basic counseling skills that exist in the assistance process.

Abstract

This study on the influence of group counseling services with thought stopping techniques in reducing public speaking anxiety among students at SMPN 1 Abung Surakarta is motivated by the issue of students experiencing anxiety when speaking in public. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of thought stopping techniques in reducing public speaking anxiety among students at SMPN 1 Abung Surakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type. The design employed is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consists of 30 students from class VII C at SMPN 1 Abung Surakarta. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, selecting 8 students as the experimental group based on the results of a high-category scale completion. The subjects received counseling six times. The instrument for data collection is a public speaking anxiety scale. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical analysis with the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study show that the thought stopping technique is effective in reducing public speaking anxiety. This is evidenced by the Wilcoxon test results, which showed a value of (Z = -2.527) with an Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.012. This indicates that public speaking anxiety decreased after the group counseling services with thought stopping techniques were administered.
