Abstract

AbstractYouTube as a social media video platform that is easily accessible and has a wide reach, is often used to share ideas and thoughts, more so when the Corona pandemic hit the world, including preachers. This article examines the interpretation of preachers on YouTube media about Covid-19. This article employed the descriptive analysis, where the author examined online da'wah material on YouTube, specifically focusing on their Qur'anic interpretation of Covid-19 to be analyzed based on the Qur'anic language approach and interpretation principles. The study of the online Qur'anic interpretation material shows that there are problems with online preachers in interpreting the Qur'an as their response to the Covid-19 outbreak. The author identifies two main factors contributing to the birth of these problems: 1) a partial and non-integrative understanding of the Qur'anic text and 2) limited mastery of the Qur'anic language.Keywords: Covid-19; Interpretation of the Qur'an in Indonesia; Online Dakwah; Problems; YouTube.AbstrakKeberadaan YouTube sebagai sebuah platform video media sosial yang mudah diakses dan memiliki jangkauan yang luas, kerap digunakan untuk berbagi ide, gagasan dan pemikiran, lebih lagi disaat pandemi Corona melanda dunia, tidak terkecuali para pendakwah. Artikel ini mengkaji seputar penafsiran para pendakwah di media YouTube seputar Covid-19. Dalam artikel ini metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis, penulis menguji materi dakwah online di YouTube, dengan secara khusus fokus kepada penafsiran al-Qur’an mereka atas Covid-19, kemudian menganalisanya berdasarkan pendekatan bahasa al-Qur’an dan kaidah penafsirannya. Kajian atas materi tafsir al-Qur’an online tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat problematika pada pendakwah online dalam menafsirkan al-Qur’an sebagai respon mereka atas wabah Covid-19. Penulis mengindentifikasi dua faktor utama yang berperan menyebabkan lahirnya problematika tersebut. Pertama, pemahaman yang bersifat parsial dan tidak integratif terhadap teks al-Qur’an. Kedua, keterbatasan dalam penguasaan bahasa  al-Qur’an.Kata Kunci: Covid-19; Dakwah Online; Problematika; Tafsir Al-Qur’an di Indonesia; YouTube.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Penerapan Hak Ex officio Hakim dalam perkara cerai talak di Pengadilan Agama Tanjung Karang. Hakim karena jabatannya atau secara ex officio dapat memutuskan suatu perkara lebih dari apa yang dituntut sekalipun hal tersebut tidak dituntut oleh para pihak yang berperkara. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat lapangan (field research), bersifat deskriptif analisis dalam hal mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data-data dari hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penerapan hak ex officio dalam perkara cerai talak di Pengadilan Agama Tanjung Karang merupakan upaya penegakan keadilan oleh hakim untuk istri (termohon) saat mereka tidak tahu atau sama sekali tidak memberikan tuntutan apapun kepada suami. Di dalam hukum Islam hakim harus mementingkan kemashlahatan yang lebih besar yaitu menentukan hak-hak istri pasca perceraian daripada mengabulkan petitum permohonan suami. Serta dalam hukum positif hakim selalu berpedoman pada ketentuan Pasal 41 huruf c Undang-Undang Perkawinan menyatakan bahwa “Pengadilan dapat mewajibkan kepada bekas suami untuk memberikan biaya penghidupan dan/atau menentukan sesuatu kewajiban bagi bekas suami”. Adapun ketentuan dalam jumlah penghukuman mengacu pada kemampuan berdasarkan gaji atau pendapatan suami dan lamanya menikah.Kata Kunci : Hak Ex officio; Hakim; Cerai

Abstract

Islam as a perfect religion has regulated the entire order of human life both concerning the life of the world and the hereafter, one of which is the sustainability of human descendants through a legitimate way, through marriage, where one of the goals is to form a sakinah family, but to make it happen is not as easy as turning the hand. It takes a process and cooperation between husband and wife and family members to make it happen, and it is not uncommon for households to contain various disputes with the end of divorce, especially during the current covid-19 pandemic, and to minimize this, the Tabliqh congregation of Lampung Province carries out the Masturah Program movement to prevent the increase in divorce cases in Lampung. This research is a qualitative research using an empirical juridical approach and is descriptive analytic, data analysis using inductive and deductive thinking frameworks. This study found the fact that the masturah program is very effectively used as a contemporary method to make it easier to create a sakinah family and as a renewable method as a means of mediation by the mediator so that religious courts and scholars are able to reduce divorce rates in Lampung province, especially among the Tabligh congregation community. Keywords:     Divorce Prevention, Masturah Program, Tabligh Congregation.

Abstract

Children born out of marriage are children born from marriages carried out according to their respective religions and beliefs. This understanding shows the existence of marriage, and if it is carried out according to the Islamic religion, then such a marriage is valid in the perspective of Islamic fiqh as long as it meets the requirements and pillars. Regarding to the position of children out of marriage, in 2012, the Constitutional Court issued a decision related to this matter which then raised pros and cons from various parties, both from legal practitioners, academics, the Indonesian Ulema Council, and even the community. Based on it, this research would like to examine more deeply related to the legal position of children out of wedlock in Indonesian legislation in the perspective of Progressive Islamic law. The type of research used is normative-empirical legal research using primary and secondary data, data analysis using qualitative descriptive and drawing conclusion using deductive thinking. The results showed that children out of marriage in the perspective of progressive Islamic law are children out of marriage have a kinship relationship with their father if born at least six months after marriage or within a grace period of four years after the marriage broke up provided it is evident that within four years their mother didn't excrete.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap realitas gangguan emosional baby blues yang dialami ibu nifas serta menganalisis peran penting dukungan suami dari perspektif hukum Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap lima ibu pasca melahirkan dan dua suami di beberapa kelurahan di Kota Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden mengalami gejala baby blues yang dipicu oleh tekanan emosional, kelelahan fisik, konflik keluarga, dan minimnya dukungan dari pasangan. Suami cenderung kurang memahami kondisi psikis istri pasca melahirkan, sehingga kontribusi mereka dalam proses pemulihan emosional belum optimal. Dalam ajaran Islam, suami memiliki tanggung jawab lahir dan batin dalam mendampingi istri, termasuk selama masa nifas. Hal ini ditegaskan dalam Q.S. an-Nisā' [4]: 19 dan Q.S. al-Aḥqāf [46]: 15 yang menekankan pentingnya memperlakukan istri dengan baik serta menghormati perjuangan mereka dalam masa kehamilan dan melahirkan. Melalui pendekatan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, dukungan suami terhadap istri selama masa nifas dapat dikaitkan dengan perlindungan terhadap agama (ḥifẓ al-dīn), jiwa (ḥifẓ al-nafs), akal (ḥifẓ al-‘aql), keturunan (ḥifẓ al-nasl), dan harta (ḥifẓ al-māl). Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa dukungan emosional dari suami berperan penting dalam mencegah dan mengurangi dampak baby blues, sekaligus memperkuat keharmonisan rumah tangga sesuai nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

The tradition of conducting a marriage contract in front of the deceased parents’ bodies remains preserved in Aji Jaya KNPI Village, Gedung Aji District, Tulang Bawang Regency. Rooted in symbolic and spiritual motives—such as fulfilling the final wishes of the deceased and upholding family honor—this practice continues to be observed as a customary norm. This study aims to examine the validity of the practice from the perspective of Islamic law, assess its status through the concept of ʿurf ṣaḥīḥ, analyze the 40-day post-marital abstinence as a local customary prohibition, and construct normative arguments within the frameworks of Islamic family law and Indonesian positive law. Employing a descriptive qualitative methodology, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the practice is legally valid under Islamic law if the essential pillars and conditions of marriage are fulfilled, and may be classified as ʿurf ṣaḥīḥ when it does not contradict sharia principles. However, under Indonesian state law, the marriage holds no legal standing unless registered with the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). In conclusion, this tradition reflects a form of legal and cultural syncretism between local customs, Islamic jurisprudence, and formal legal norms—requiring thoughtful management and contextual understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji larangan menikah dengan pezina (az-Z?n? dan az-Z?niyah) dalam perspektif Maq??id as-Syar?'ah sebagaimana yang termuat dalam ayat-ayat al-Qur'an dan hadis Nabi. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini meliputi dua aspek utama: pertama, bagaimana pandangan ulama terhadap larangan menikah dengan pezina; kedua, bagaimana tinjauan Maq??id as-Syar?'ah terhadap larangan menikahi pezina. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis dan bersifat normatif, yaitu dengan mengkaji sumber-sumber primer berupa al-Qur'an, hadis, serta literatur fikih klasik dan kontemporer yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua pandangan dari para ulama yang membahas persoalan ini, pertama adalah ulama yang menghalalkan pernikahan ini disebabkan tidak adanya pelarangan secara mutlak oleh Rasullah dan menurut ulama ini surat an-N?r ayat 3 hanyalah pelarangan untuk melakukan zina dan bukan sebagai bentuk pengharaman, dan pendapat kedua adalah mengharamkan pernikahan dengan pezina dikarenakan landasan hukumnya jelas sebagaimana terdapat dalam surat an-N?r ayat 3 dan dalam hadis Nabi SAW. Dalam perspektif Maq??id as-Syar?'ah, larangan ini mencerminkan perlindungan terhadap agama (?if? ad-D?n), keturunan (?if? an-Nasl), jiwa (?if? an-Nafs), akal (?if? aq-‘Aql), dan menjaga harta (?if? am-Mal). Oleh karena itu, larangan tersebut tidak hanya bersifat normatif-teologis, tetapi juga memiliki dimensi sosial dan memiliki fungsi preventif yang relevan dengan pembinaan keluarga.

Abstract

In marriage, the presence of a child is one of the greatest blessings granted by Allah SWT to a husband and wife. The arrival of a child can be a source of joy and comfort for the parents, and the child can also be a adornment for both parents. However, it is important to recognize that a child can also become a fitnah for the parents, as mentioned in Q.S. at-Tagābun verse 15. When examining the verses concerning fitnah in the Qur'an, we find that there are many different meanings of fitnah, which may vary significantly when compared to its definition in the Indonesian Dictionary. This study aims to explore the understanding of the concept of "Children as Fitnah" from the perspective of Islamic Family Law. This research is based on the analysis of relevant Qur'anic verses and hadiths, as well as their application in Islamic family law. Furthermore, this article also examines the views of several Tafsir lecturers at UIN Raden Intan Lampung, who refer to various Tafsir interpretations. This study is qualitative in nature, utilizing a descriptive writing technique. The data sources include primary data from the thoughts of Tafsir lecturers referring to various Tafsir interpretations, and secondary data from journals and books related to this concept and its impact on parenting patterns and parental responsibilities in a modern context. The research findings highlight the importance of understanding the rights and responsibilities of each family member and instilling key values in the family, particularly to children from an early age. These include teaching faith and belief, encouraging kindness and affection, promoting regular worship, setting a good example, and providing halal and ṭoyyib sustenance to the family.

Abstract

The symbol of divine light (nūr ilāhī) in Surah An-Nūr verse 35 contains one of the deepest metaphors in the Qur’an. It describes the human spiritual process of receiving divine guidance and awareness. This study explores how classical and contemporary exegetes interpret the symbol of light and how semiotic analysis reveals its multiple layers of meaning. The research uses a library-based qualitative approach that combines classical tafsir such as Mafātīḥ al-Ghayb, Al-Jāmiʿ li Aḥkām al-Qurʾān, and Mishkāt al-Anwār with modern interpretations by Sayyid Quṭb, Muhammad Asad, and Seyyed Hossein Nasr. The semiotic theories of Roland Barthes and Charles S. Peirce are applied to analyze how elements such as mishkāt, miṣbāḥ, zujājah, and syajarah mubārakah form a symbolic structure that represents the journey of the human soul from potential faith to full spiritual awareness. The findings show that the symbol of light is not only theological in nature but also serves as an ontological and psychological guide for modern humans who seek meaning in their spiritual life. This study contributes to Qur’anic interpretation by offering an integrative framework that connects classical exegesis, linguistic study, and modern spiritual context. Abstrak: Simbol cahaya ilahi (nūr ilāhī) dalam Surah An-Nūr ayat 35 mengandung salah satu metafora paling mendalam dalam Al-Qur’an. Ayat ini menggambarkan proses spiritual manusia dalam menerima petunjuk dan kesadaran ilahi. Penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana para mufasir klasik dan kontemporer menafsirkan simbol cahaya serta bagaimana analisis semiotik dapat mengungkap lapisan maknanya. Penelitian dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggabungkan tafsir klasik seperti Mafātīḥ al-Ghayb, Al-Jāmiʿ li Aḥkām al-Qurʾān, dan Mishkāt al-Anwār dengan tafsir modern karya Sayyid Quṭb, Muhammad Asad, dan Seyyed Hossein Nasr. Teori semiotika Roland Barthes dan Charles S. Peirce digunakan untuk menganalisis bagaimana unsur seperti mishkāt, miṣbāḥ, zujājah, dan syajarah mubārakah membentuk struktur simbolik yang menggambarkan perjalanan ruhani manusia dari potensi iman menuju pencerahan spiritual yang utuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simbol cahaya tidak hanya memiliki makna teologis tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai panduan ontologis dan psikologis bagi manusia modern dalam mencari makna kehidupan spiritual. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan tafsir Al-Qur’an dengan menawarkan kerangka yang menghubungkan penafsiran klasik, analisis kebahasaan, dan konteks spiritual masa kini.

Abstract

This study discusses the verses of birrul walidain, which are associated with family financial management and the conditioned behavior of boys toward their parents in the aspect of providing for themselves. This research departs from the problem of decreasing children's moral values towards biological parents, especially in a boy entering postmarital age. Some examples of concerning behavior from a child more likely to prioritize his support over his parents to the behavior of entrusting parents to nursing homes. This research method uses the type of library research and verse interpretation method using thematic methods. Collection of literature data by referring to the book of tafsīr with the method of tahlīlī patterned adābī ijtimāʻī, namely al-Mishbah by Quraish Shihab and Kitab tafsīr al-Azhār by Hamka. Data analysis method with interpretation method and comparative analysis. The findings in this study that birrul wālidain in family financial management are as follows: 1) parental income is prioritized 1/3 (33.3%) if they do not have children, and 1/6 (16.6%) if they already have children from their total income. 2) The wife's income is prioritized by 1/4 (25%) if she does not have children and 1/8 (12.5%) if she already has children from her total income. 3) provide for primary needs (clothing, food, and shelter) for themselves and their families (children and wives) according to the ability taken from 41.7% if they do not have children and 70.9% if they already have children from their total income. 4) provide additional income for parents or close relatives not more than 1/3 (33.3%) of their total property if they have a minimum property of 600-700 dirhams (Rp. 56,805,000-Rp. 66,272,500) or their parents have poor or infidel status even though the property does not reach 600-700 dirhams.
