This study aimed to develop comic "Pade Tolak Stunting" on increasing the knowledge of female adolescents related to infectious diseases (worms, diarrhea, malaria, and ARI) as risk factors for stunting. This study was a pre-experimental study with a pre-post-test with control group design. The study subject was female adolescents (10-19 years old.) in Dusun Sade, Central Lombok. A total of 23 female adolescents were involved in this study. The comic media "Pade Tolak Stunting" was developed in the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Rank Test. After tested, media is applicable for stunting education media. The results showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of prospective brides and grooms about infectious diseases as risk factors for stunting in Dusun Sade, Central Lombok (p <0.001). The conclusion is that the comic "Pade Tolak Stunting" is feasible and also can increase the knowledge of female adolescents about infectious diseases as risk factors for stunting.

Abstract

After the earthquake that occurred on the island of Lombok during August 2018 malaria appeared again. The purpose of this study was to determine malaria infection and control of Anopheles sp with Rambutan leaves. The research method uses analytical observation for malaria infection and an experimental with completely randomized design for Anopheles sp. control using natural ingredients, namely rambutan leaves . The population and sample were suspected malaria and Anopheles sp larvae in the working area of the Penimbung Public Health Center in West Lombok District affected by the earthquake. Results of malaria examination studies with RDT/malaria sticks 13% positive for malaria, whereas microscopically 25% positive for malaria. Laboratory test results with rambutan leaf soaking concentrations of 1%, 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% were obtained the higher the concentration the more effective the killing power against larvae of Anopheles sp, with LC50 12.353% and LC90 19.666%. Field test results no larvae in the cupak with the soaking of rambutan leaves. Conclusion, 25% of the population affected by the earthquake were infected with malaria, the most common being plasmodium falciparum, soaking rambutan leaves is effective for controlling Malaria vectors in laboratorium and fields.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of Community Service is to increase the knowledge and service of target partners regarding Screening for the prevention and control of Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, Hyperuresis and hypercholesterolemia) through empowering PKK cadres and mothers in screening for PTM examinations, using the "Lab Health Pocket" application. The solution and method in this community service is to provide education and training on overcoming PTM risk factors and community-based prevention by training PTM screening using simple laboratory examinations using the POCT method, PTM monitoring using the results of the "Lab Health Pocket" innovation research. The results of PkM are an increase in the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres and mothers about screening, prevention and control of Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, Hyperuresis and hypercholesterolemia) up to 100%, increasing the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres and mothers in using digital sphygmomanometers, POCT GCU tools, the "Lab Health Pocket" application to make it easier for individuals to evaluate their own health conditions or get initial information about potential health problems up to 85%. and the formation of a village health service post for simple PTM lab examination screening.
