Abstract

Kegiatan ini didasari oleh adanya keinginan untuk berbagi ilmu dan pengalaman dengan guru di SDN No.111 Inpres Lassang 1 Takalar. Melalui praktik mendemonstrasikan pengetahuan atau skill tentang cara menentukan volume kubus dan balok, penulis mendapatkan informasi tentang perkembangan dunia persekolahan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menunjukkan kepada kita bahwa praktik fase kedua dalam model pengajaran langsung perlu dipersiapkan dengan baik (by design), bukan kebetulan (by chance). Hal itu karena fase kedua ini adalah fase inti dari penyajian materi kepada siswa dalam model pengajaran langsung. Dalam praktik ini, guru menampilkan langkah-langkah tertentu dalam menentukan volume kubus dan balok. Langkah-langkah tersebut dimulai dari penentuan panjang sisi-sisi kubus dan balok, serta penggunaannya dalam rumus volume kedua bangun tersebut, hingga langkah terakhir berupa verifikasi hasil kalkulasi volume kubus dan balok untuk memastikan bahwa volume kubus dan balok yang dihitung sudah benar dan memiliki satuan yang sesuai dengan satuan panjang sisi yang digunakan pada kubus dan balok. Pihak sekolah, baik guru dan kepada sekolah, maupun siswa yang dilibatkan dalam proses pembelajaran merespon dengan baik kegiatan ini. Bahkan, ada pengakuan dari siswa bahwa penyajian secara sistematis langkah demi langkah seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam kegiatan ini memberikan banyak manfaat, di antaranya: pemahaman mereka meningkat, mereka termotivasi untuk tahu lebih banyak tentang kubus dan balok, mereka yang bergaya belajar viual dan kinestetik mengaku terbantu belajar lebih baik, skill praktis mereka juga menjadi terbangun, serta mereka yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan volume kubus dan balok menjadi teratasi. Guru-guru pun sejalan dengan respons siswa tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of logical-mathematical intelligence and self-efficacy on mathematics learning outcomes. This study is quantitative research using an ex-post facto method. The population for this research consists of 341 students, and the sample size is 85 students. The research instruments include questionnaires for assessing logical-mathematical intelligence and self-efficacy, as well as a mathematics learning achievement test on the topic of integers. The data analysis methods used are simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that for the distributed logical-mathematical intelligence questionnaire, the highest score obtained was 96, and the lowest score was 59, resulting in an average score of 77.69, categorized as moderate. For the distributed self-efficacy questionnaire, the highest score obtained was 104, the lowest score was 60, and the average score was 80.67, categorized as high. In the mathematics learning achievement test for the 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa, the overall average score was 62.69 out of 85 students, with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 34, categorized as low. Regarding the simple regression analysis, (1) logical-mathematical intelligence has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes with a value of 0.186, and (2) self-efficacy has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes with a value of 0.193, indicating no partial influence. In the multiple regression analysis, (3) both logical-mathematical intelligence and self-efficacy simultaneously influence mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in class IV C in the subject of science and natural sciences. Based on the results of the pre-cycle, the percentage value was 35%. Of the 20 students, only 7 students completed the learning with an average class value of 67.1. This is due to the lack of variation in teacher assessment methods and media in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes using quizizz media in the subject of science and natural sciences for class IV at SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah. The research method used was PTK (Classroom Action Research) research using the Kurt Lewin model. This study was conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques used by researchers were observation, interviews, documentation, and tests using quizizz media. Data analysis used quantitative analysis with descriptive. The results showed that student learning outcomes after implementing quizizz media increased. In cycle I, learning completion was obtained by 65% ​​(13 students), while the incomplete value obtained by students was 35% (7 students) with an average value of 74 (sufficient). In cycle II, the learning completion rate was 90% (18 students), while the incomplete value was 10% (2 students) with an average value of 91.75 (very good). From these data, it can be said that the quizizz paper mode media can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of science class IV C SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah
