Abstract

This research aim to find out the usege of Google Classroom in distance learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. This method of research used a qualitative methods. The sources of data in this study was teacher of history subjects and students of class XI IIS SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. The data collection techniques used interviews,observation techniqueand dokumentation. The data analysis used several phases that is Data Reduction, Data Display, and Verification. Triangulation techniques and triangulation of data sources are used to test the validity of the data. The results showing that(1) The planning using of Google Classroom in distance learning includes the preparation of Learning Implementation Plans, peparation of materials sourced from history books and youtube. The preparation of learning media in the form of videos about history lesson material. (2) The implementation of the using Google Classroom media in distance learning includes steps in the form of perparing lessons, managing learning, providing feedback and holding teleconferences. (3) The form of evaluation ogf history learning using Google Classroom Media in distance learning includes daily assignments and Mid Semester Assessment in the form of essay questions. (4)There are some obstacles to implementation, that is the form of less stable internet network, limited internet quota, and lack of variety in the delivery of subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivation of learning history of students in class X IPS 8 on the material of Islamic Kingdoms in Indonesia at SMA N 2 Pontianak, while the research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The source of data in this study were students of class XIPS8. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation, the data collection tools are observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data summarization. The results showed that the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to learn history of students in class X IPS 8 SMA N2 Pontianak on the material of the kingdom of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia there are two indicators, namely; 1) intrinsic motivation to learn history of students in class X IPS 8 on the material of the kingdom of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia lacks desire, desire and encouragement as well as hopes and ideals in learning the history of the material of the kingdom of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia. 2) extrinsic learning motivation of students in class X IPS 8 on the material of the kingdom of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia, shows that awards, interesting activities in learning, and a conducive learning atmosphere still make students less motivated in terms of learning the history of the material of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia. It can be said that the results of the study show that the motivation to learn history of students in class x ips 8 on the material of the kingdom of the Islamic kingdom in Indonesia SMAN 2 pontianak is low

Abstract

In today's digital era, of course, it provides opportunities and benefits. Especially in the world of education, the presence of digital literacy in the field of education and teaching is a form of collaboration with existing progress. This update certainly brings new experiences in the world of education. This research is qualitative with descriptive method. The subjects in this study are history teachers, students and curriculum waka. The data acquisition process is carried out through observation, documentation and interviews. In this study, the data interpetation method was carried out by reduction, presentation, and finally drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that : 1) Teacher strategies in utilizing digital literacy in history learning in detail have been listed in the RPP. 2) In implementation process, digital literacy is used in material delivery & evaluation. Material delivery utilizes tools in the form of media, as well as digital sources. In the evaluation process, assignments are given in groups. The digital literacy used is access to digital sources form journals, youtube and other digital sources. 3) Obstacles in its implementation, namely first, technical obstacles in the form of internet network capabilities and lack of supporting infrastructure. Second, non-technical obstacles include a less conducive environment and a lack of student digital literacy skills. Thrid, internal constraints from teacher. It can be concluded that the use of digital literacy is an effort to adapt the learning process and current development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze cultural transmission in the Dayak Bidayuh community in Bengkayang, West Kalimantan from the perspective of social studies education. The background is their separate existence in two countries and their history of always moving from place to place but being able to maintain their identity and cultural knowledge to this day. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this research show (1) the history and culture of the Dayak Bidayuh community is very dynamic starting from the history of their migration from Sungkung to spreading to various places around Jagoi, Sebujit, Bau and so on, but their cultural identity is still attached, (2) Cultural transmission is carried out through firstly, the internalization process by introducing culture to children from an early age, the role of family and society is very determining in this process, secondly through cultural transformation and inheritance where verbally or in practice this culture is then passed on according to developments over time without losing its essence and value

Abstract

Lokal history content is always neglected from the national stage as seen in the history learning textbooks presented to student. The narrative that is told is a Javanese historical narrative, causing jealousy among student. One of the lokal traditions that can be used as a source for learning local history is the Saprahan tradition in West Kalimantan. This study aims to find out the history of the Saprahan tradition, the values of local wisdom in the Saprahan tradition that can be integrated into history learning, and to make the Saprahan tradition an alternative source of learning local history. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The results showed that the Saprahan tradition is one local the local traditions that can be used as a local of local history. The existence of the Saprahan tradition is important because it is a form of local of lokal culture with Islamic culture in West Kalimantan. The local of local wisdom contained in the Saprahan tradition include the value of togetherness, religious value, and the value of cooperation. The provision of local history materials in schools is expected to be able to create positive characters in student.Konten sejarah lokal selalu terabaikan dari panggung nasional seperti yang terlihat dalam buku teks pembelajaran sejarah yang dihadirkan kepada siswa. Narasi yang diceritakan merupakan narasi sejarah Jawa sehingga menimbulkan kecemburuan di kalangan siswa. Salah satu tradisi lokal yang dapat diangkat sebagai sumber belajar sejarah lokal adalah tradisi Saprahan di Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah mengenai tradisi Saprahan, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada tradisi Saprahan yang dapat dintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran sejarah, dan menjadikan tradisi Saprahan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar sejarah lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Saprahan merupakan salah satu tradisi lokal yang dapat digunakan sebagi sumber sejarah lokal. Keberadaaan tradisi Saprahan menjadi penting karena menjadi salah satu bentuk akulturasi kebudayaan lokal dengan kebudayaan Islam di Kalimantan Barat. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat dalam tradisi Saprahan di antaranya nilai kebersamaan, nilai religius, dan nilai gotong royong. Adanya pemberian materi sejarah lokal di sekolah diharapkan mampu mewujudkan karakter positif pada diri siswa.

Abstract

Japan entered West Kalimantan for the first time by controlling the administrative city, Pontianak. The control of the Mempawah area is vital because it is located between Pontianak City and Singkawang City, the administrative city of the Netherlands. This study aimed to determine the occupation of the Japanese army in Mempawah City, the entry of Japanese troops in Mempawah City, and the leadership of the Japanese military in Mempawah City. The research uses the historical method with four stages heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the Japanese entered the city of Mempawah around the end of February 1942. At the beginning of the occupation, the Japanese immediately managed the local government by placing soldiers of the highest rank to lead the city of Mempawah. Japan also recorded and arrested several actual figures who endangered its power in Mempawah. The leadership of the Japanese government left after Japan surrendered to the allies and marked the end of Japanese rule in Mempawah.Jepang pertama kali masuk ke Kalimantan Barat dengan menguasai kota administratif Pontianak. Penguasaan kawasan Mempawah sangat vital karena terletak di antara Kota Pontianak dan Kota Singkawang, kota administratif Belanda. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendudukan tentara Jepang di Kota Mempawah, masuknya pasukan Jepang di Kota Mempawah, dan kepemimpinan militer Jepang di Kota Mempawah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dengan empat tahapan heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jepang memasuki kota Mempawah sekitar akhir Februari 1942. Pada awal pendudukan, Jepang langsung mengatur pemerintahan daerah dengan menempatkan prajurit berpangkat tertinggi untuk memimpin kota Mempawah. Jepang juga mencatat dan menangkap beberapa tokoh nyata yang membahayakan kekuasaannya di Mempawah. Kepemimpinan pemerintah Jepang pergi setelah Jepang menyerah kepada sekutu dan menandai berakhirnya kekuasaan Jepang di Mempawah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pemahaman mahasiswa UMMat tentang nilai digital culture di lingkungan akademik, mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi integrasi nilai digital culture melalui Matakuliah Pendidikan Pancasila, dan menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan habituasi nilai digital culture untuk penguatan etika komunikasi digital mahasiswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa, dosen, dan tenaga kependidikan sebagai informan utama. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan mahasiswa memahami konsep dasar digital culture sebagai cara menggunakan teknologi secara bertanggung jawab, namun hanya sedikit yang memahami kaitannya dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Integrasi nilai digital culture melalui Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila dilakukan melalui kurikulum, melalui metode pengajaran dalam perkuliahan, melalui tugas-tugas, dan kolaborasi antar unit. Mahasiswa secara bertahap menunjukkan peningkatan dalam sopan santun digital, terutama di semester kedua. Habituasi nilai dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan akademik maupun non-akademik. Perlunya pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang berorientasi pada penguatan digital culture untuk membangun karakter mahasiswa. This research aims to identify and analyze UMMat students' understanding of digital culture values in the academic environment, identify and analyze strategies for integrating digital culture values through Pancasila Education Courses, and analyze and describe digital culture value habituation for strengthening students' digital communication ethics. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involves students, lecturers, and education staff as the main informants. Data collection techniques use observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The study's results show that most students understand the basic concept of digital culture as a way to use technology responsibly, but only a few understand the relationship with Pancasila values. The integration of digital culture values through the Pancasila Education Course is carried out through the curriculum, teaching methods in lectures, assignments, and collaboration between units. Students are gradually improving in digital manners, especially in the second semester. Value habituation is carried out through academic and non-academic activities. There is a need to develop educational policies oriented toward strengthening digital culture to build student character.

Abstract

Secara umum penelitian ini membahas isu pokok mengenai keberlangsungan dan perubahan dalam Tradisi Dange pada Suku Dayak Kayaan Mendalam di Desa Datah Dian, Kecamatan Putussibau Utara, selama periode 1980–2022. Tradisi Dange merupakan upacara adat yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan memiliki makna penting dalam kehidupan sosial dan spiritual masyarakat. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai bagaimana tradisi tersebut berkembang di tengah perubahan sosial, budaya, dan agama. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah, dengan tahapan pemilihan topik, heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terjadi perubahan pada bentuk prosesi, terutama sejak terjadinya inkulturasi antara ajaran Katolik dan tradisi adat, makna dari Tradisi Dange tetap terjaga hingga sekarang. Inkulturasi tersebut menghasilkan perpaduan yang harmonis tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai inti tradisi. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa komunitas lokal memiliki kemampuan adaptif dalam menjaga warisan budaya mereka, sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa tradisi dapat bertahan dan berkembang seiring perubahan zaman, asalkan nilai-nilai dasarnya tetap dipertahankan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of Singkawang City's development in the 20th century. This development was marked by the growth of various urban infrastructures that supported the economy and population mobility, causing the city to transform from a traditional city into a colonial city. This study employs a qualitative method using literature review, drawing on written sources such as books, journal articles, and various studies previously conducted that are related to Singkawang City. The findings of this study indicate that the transformation of Singkawang City from a traditional city to a colonial city was marked by the Dutch beginning to build infrastructure, establish administrative governance, and implement policies within the city. The growth of Catholic missionaries during this period also brought changes to Singkawang City, particularly in the fields of education and health, as they helped build various facilities such as Catholic churches, schools, and hospitals. The transition from a traditional city to a colonial one did not erase the multicultural identity of Singkawang's society, as the changes occurred primarily in infrastructure and government administration.

Abstract

Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mitigasi bencana kebakaran hutan dan lahan melalui kontekstualisasi pendidikan karakter dalam IPAS. Pendekatan kontekstual dilakukan untuk mendekatkan peserta didik dengan lingkungan sosial serta alam disekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru IPAS SD Negeri 8 Sadaniang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah memberikan materi pembelajaran IPAS yang berorientasi lingkungan. Kontekstualisasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui integrasi materi IPAS dengan tradisi masyarakat Dayak Kanayatn di Sadaniang yang kemudian menjadi pengarusutamaan edukasi mitigasi bencana dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa pembentukan karakter peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan potensi lingkungan sekitar secara kontekstual.
