Abstract

Webinar dan workshop "Front-End Fundamentals: A Beginner's Guide to Web Development for Junior Programmer" bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dasar-dasar pengembangan web front-end kepada pemula. Acara ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom pada 19 Juli 2024 dan dihadiri oleh peserta dari berbagai universitas. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pengenalan HTML, CSS, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab, serta diakhiri dengan workshop praktis di mana peserta membangun halaman web sederhana menggunakan Visual Studio Code. Evaluasi melalui kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa 55,6% peserta sangat setuju, 22,2% setuju, dan 22,2% cukup setuju bahwa materi yang disampaikan relevan. Sebelum acara, rata-rata skor pretest peserta adalah 78,7, yang meningkat secara signifikan menjadi 91,82 setelah acara, menandakan peningkatan pemahaman yang substansial. Secara keseluruhan, acara ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang pengembangan web front-end, baik dari segi teori maupun praktik.

Abstract

Program Studi (Prodi) Teknik Informatika Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ) adalah salah satu prodi yang melaksanakan program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dalam bentuk Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB) sejak angkatan (batch) kesatu hingga ketujuh. MSIB bersifat kredensial mikro, yaitu bentuk kualifikasi dengan  sertifikasi mikro yang dipilih oleh seorang mahasiswa sehingga  memperoleh kompetensi khusus setelah melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dan praktik terhadap serangkaian keterampilan, pengetahuan dan sikap. Prodi Teknik Informatika UMJ memiliki satu model pengelolaan msib yang terdiri dari 6 proses secara umum, yaitu pendaftaran, pelaksanaan, pembimbingan, diseminasi dan publikasi, konversi serta evaluasi. Pada proses awal pendaftaran batch 6 telah dimulai proses pendaftaran digital oleh prodi dan universitas untuk melakukan verifikasi dan validasi pemberkasan Nilai IPK dan beasiswa. Tahap selanjutnya adalah verifikasi dan validasi pada MSIB sebelum masuk kepada seleksi mitra. Pada batch 6 yang menjadi fokus saat ini, telah dilaksanakan semua proses yang disebutkan di atas. Dengan melibatkan 9 orang dosen pembimbing prodi untuk membimbing 50 mahasiswa studi independen, telah dihasilkan 10 tim KKN sebagai tim diseminasi dan10 publikasi pada jurnal dari hasil diseminasi. Dari evaluasi terhadap 3 bagian mengenai pembimbingan, kegiatan diseminasi dan pengelolaan program, didapatkan hasil secara berurutan 81%, 75% dan 95% menyatakan sangat baik dan baik.

Abstract

Di era digital yang semakin maju, mempunyai identitas digital menjadi kebutuhan penting, terutama bagi mahasiswa. Salah satu cara untuk membangun identitas digital adalah dengan membuat portofolio berbasis website, dengan menggunakan framework sebagai bantuan dalam membangun portofolio website, seperti framework Bootstrap. Penulis dan tim mengadakan kegiatan mengenai membagun identitas digital dengan judul “Create Your Digital Identity: Bangun Portofolio Keren dengan Bootstrap”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pemaparan materi dengan webinar dan dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan praktik dengan workshop. Kepuasan peserta ditentukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap pembicara dan materi yang disampaikan. Hasil dan diskusi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil dibuktikan dengan partisipasi sebanyak 60 peserta dari berbagai lembaga. Peserta juga menyelesaikan Pre-Test dan Post-Test yang menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik terhadap materi tersebut. Feedback yang didapatkan dari peserta adalah 47,5 merasa puas dan 52,5% merasa sangat puas dengan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Technological developments in the field of mobile applications have opened up many opportunities in various sectors. However, beginners often face obstacles due to a lack of basic knowledge about Android app development, so it is important for them to get a comprehensive and easy-to-understand education. In this context, the author and team organised an event titled “Step Into A New Dimension Of The Android App Development World For Beginners” with the aim of introducing the basics of Android app development to beginners with a structured approach. The programme was implemented through Webinars and Workshops, which included exposure to basic concepts to hands-on practice in creating simple applications. The evaluation results showed a positive response from 62 participants who came from various backgrounds, with 68% expressing satisfaction and 32% very satisfied with the implementation of this activity. In addition, the Pre-Test and Post-Test results showed an increase in participants' understanding of Android application development. This activity succeeded in providing a strong foundation for beginners to enter the world of Android application development.

Abstract

The The webinar and workshop titled "Getting Started with Machine Learning in Game Development", held on January 18, 2025, aimed to deliver foundational knowledge on Machine Learning (ML), with a specialized focus on Reinforcement Learning (RL) and its applications in game development, featuring two main sessions: a public webinar for theoretical education and a hands-on technical workshop. The webinar introduced core ML concepts, including Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, and Reinforcement Learning, while the workshop emphasized the practical implementation of RL using Unity ML-Agents, PyTorch, Anaconda, and the C# programming language, attracting 45–56 participants from diverse institutions and highlighting significant interest in ML applications within the creative industry, particularly game development. Pre-test results (administered prior to the sessions) yielded an average score of 64.68 and a median of 60, while post-test scores (conducted after the sessions) showed marked improvement, with an average of 81.22 and a median of 90, and participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees expressing satisfaction regarding the quality of content, expertise of speakers, and overall event organization, underscoring the effective reception of Machine Learning education and its potential to enhance skill development across sectors, including the creative and technology industries.Webinar dan Workshop "Getting Started with Machine Learning in Game Development", yang diselenggarakan pada 18 Januari 2025, bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang Machine Learning (ML) dengan fokus khusus pada Reinforcement Learning (RL) dan penerapannya dalam pengembangan game. Acara terdiri dari dua sesi utama: edukasi publik melalui webinar dan pelatihan teknis melalui Workshop. Webinar membahas dasar-dasar Machine Learning, Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, dan Reinforcement Learning, sementara Workshop berfokus pada penerapan RL menggunakan Unity ML-Agents, PyTorch, dan Anaconda dengan bahasa pemrograman C#. Acara ini berhasil menarik 45–56 peserta dari berbagai institusi, menunjukkan minat besar terhadap penerapan Machine Learning di industri kreatif, khususnya pengembangan game. Hasil dari Pre-test yang di mana peserta mengerjakan tes tersebut sebelum pemaparan materi memiliki nilai rata rata sebanyak 64,68 poin dan median sebanyak 60 poin, sedangkan di Post-Test, yang di mana peserta mengerjakan tes tersebut setelah mendengarkan paparan materi yang diberikan, memiliki rata-rata sebanyak 81,22 poin dan median sebanyak 90 poin. Selain itu, mayoritas peserta memberikan umpan balik positif, menyatakan kepuasan terhadap kualitas materi, narasumber, dan penyelenggaraan acara. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa edukasi teknologi Machine Learning diterima dengan baik dan berpotensi mendukung pengembangan keterampilan di berbagai sektor, termasuk industri kreatif dan teknologi.

Abstract

In addition to bringing positive impacts, technological developments also provide new challenges in improving people's technological literacy, especially related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). One of the main challenges is the low public understanding of these technologies, which are increasingly relevant in the era of digital transformation. On the other hand, Google developed a library with the name TensorFlow which is widely used for data processing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Based on this, educational activities were carried out in the form of introducing and training the use of TensorFlow to the general public in the form of webinars and workshops with the theme ‘Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning’. The activity was carried out in two stages, namely webinars for delivering basic material and workshops for hands-on practice. Based on evaluation through a Likert scale questionnaire, the majority of participants stated that they were very satisfied with the quality of the material, presenters, and implementation of activities. The post-test results also showed an increase in participants' understanding of the material, as evidenced by correct answers on topics such as TensorFlow functions, supervised learning, and neural networks. The participation of 52 participants from various institutions shows the success of this activity in achieving its goals.

Abstract

In the digital era, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are required to adapt to technology to improve competitiveness in the global market. One effective strategy is the utilization of digital platforms for online product promotion. This webinar and workshop activity aims to provide MSME players with an understanding of the use of CapCut, Canva, and TikTok Shop as digital marketing tools. The webinar discussed the basic theory of digital marketing strategies, while the workshop provided hands-on practice in creating promotional content using the three platforms. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of participants' understanding. The results showed that 70% of participants experienced an increase in understanding, and 85% of participants were satisfied and very satisfied with the material presented. This activity proves that the utilization of digital technology can help MSMEs in increasing their visibility and market reach more broadly.

Abstract

Lack of understanding about computer networks and routing configurations poses a challenge for students and the general public interested in technology. To address this, a Webinar and Workshop titled “Introduction to Networking Infrastructure on Cisco Packet Tracer: Routing a Home-to-Home Network to a Central Server” was held. The event aimed to provide theoretical and practical knowledge of computer networks and routing simulations using Cisco Packet Tracer. The Webinar covered basics such as network types, IP addresses, and an introduction to Cisco Packet Tracer, while the Workshop focused on hands-on practice. Evaluation revealed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with average Pre-Test scores rising from 70% to 90% in the Post-Test. Attended by 40 participants from various institutions, 95% expressed satisfaction with the material and presenter delivery. The activity successfully enhanced participants' knowledge and skills in computer networking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat tema artificial intelligence berupa perancangan website pengukuran badan yang diberi nama Artificial Intelligence Detect Assistant (AIDA). AIDA adalah sebuah website untuk melakukan pengukuran pada tubuh sehingga dapat menghasilkan ukuran pakaian secara real time. Website ini dirancang karena adanya permasalahan terkait sulitnya mencari ukuran pakaian yang sesuai ketika berbelanja di e-commerce. Penulis membatasi perancangan pada desain User interface (UI) dan User experience (UX) berupa Wireframe, High fidelity (Hi-Fi) dan Prototype serta tools figma dalam membuat rancangannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan adalah metode Design Thinking yang berpusat pada pengguna. Metode ini memiliki beberapa fase yaitu Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Dari hasil testing yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil berupa tampilan dari website AIDA dengan feedback yang positif dari 5 pengguna yang menjadi partisipan menggunakan skala likert dengan nilai 4 atau puas.

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has a crucial role in decision making. To increase public understanding, especially students, about Data Science, a webinar and online workshop titled “Python and Data Science: Building a Foundation with Practical Projects” through the Zoom Meeting Conference platform. This activity aims to provide a basic understanding of the concepts, benefits, and applications of Data Science in various industrial fields. Participants are invited to learn the use of Python in data analysis, and are given case study projects related to sales data analysis to apply the knowledge they have gained. This webinar and workshop activity was held on January 23, 2025, at 09.00 WIB which was attended by 40 participants from various institutions. The evaluation results show that participants expressed their satisfaction as indicated by the percentage of positive values in the feedback of 40% satisfied and 37% very satisfied with this activity.  In addition, there was an increase in participants' understanding of Data Science, with the Pre-Test average score increasing from 7.87% to 8.21% on the Post-Test.
