Abstract

Kegiatan webinar dan workshop "Website Development: How to Make a Simple Portfolio Website" bertujuan membantu pelamar kerja yang sering tidak menyertakan portofolio dalam website mereka. Dilaksanakan pada 16 Juli 2024 secara daring melalui Zoom, acara ini diikuti oleh peserta dari berbagai universitas. Sesi dimulai dengan pengenalan HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript, diikuti dengan sesi tanya jawab. Workshop memberikan panduan langkah demi langkah dalam membuat website portofolio menggunakan Visual Studio Code. Evaluasi melalui kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa 45,45% peserta sangat setuju dan 54,55% setuju bahwa materi relevan. Setelah acara, pengetahuan peserta meningkat sebesar 12,8%, dan tingkat kepuasan keseluruhan sangat tinggi. Acara ini secara efektif memberikan wawasan menyeluruh tentang pengembangan website portofolio dari teori hingga praktik.

Abstract

Teknologi yang berkembang pesat memiliki dampak positif dan negatif, tergantung pada penggunaannya. Di satu sisi, teknologi memudahkan aktivitas individu atau kelompok, sementara di sisi lain, penyalahgunaannya dapat menyebabkan kejahatan dunia maya (cybercrime). Hal ini mendorong peningkatan sistem keamanan sebagai respons terhadap meningkatnya cybercrime. Dalam konteks ini, teknologi informasi memegang peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi global. Selain itu, meningkatnya penggunaan sistem operasi virtual menuntut pendekatan forensik digital yang lebih canggih, terutama dalam pengumpulan bukti seperti citra dan file memori. Program ini memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan melalui webinar dan workshop kepada 56 mahasiswa yang tertarik pada keamanan siber, dengan fokus pada teknik akuisisi bukti digital. Edukasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap integritas bukti dan metode yang tepat dalam forensik digital, dengan hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman sebesar 30% pada materi yang diajarkan. Nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 88.64%, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 77.95%. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendidikan berkelanjutan dalam forensik digital untuk menghadapi tantangan yang berkembang dalam dunia maya.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, sinergi antara Data Analyst dan Web Developer sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan informasi digital. Workshop ini memperkenalkan konsep dasar dan teknik dalam kedua bidang serta menunjukkan bagaimana kolaborasi mereka menghasilkan solusi yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Survei yang diisi 28 peserta webinar dan workshop, mayoritas dari Teknik Informatika Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Sebanyak 100% peserta menjawab benar tentang tugas Data Analyst, pentingnya data, dan front-end development. Namun, pada pertanyaan tentang fungsi HTML, 92,6% (25 dari 27) menjawab benar, dan pada pertanyaan tentang tujuan visualisasi data, 96,4% (27 dari 28) menjawab dengan tepat. Hal ini menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik secara umum, meskipun masih terdapat sedikit ruang untuk peningkatan pada beberapa aspek.

Abstract

Natural Language Processing (NLP) telah menjadi bidang penting dalam komputasi modern, dengan fokus pada interaksi antara bahasa manusia dan komputer. Webinar dan workshop "Pengenalan Dasar NLP: Analisis Teks dan Bahasa dengan Python" dilaksanakan pada 18 Juli 2024 secara daring, dihadiri oleh 35 peserta. Kegiatan ini meliputi pengenalan tentang NLP, demonstrasi penggunaan Python untuk analisis teks, dan sesi praktik dengan Google Colab. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa 70,4% peserta memiliki pengetahuan awal yang benar, meningkat menjadi 81,8% pada post-test. Feedback dari 44 peserta menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, 100% peserta setuju bahwa materi yang disampaikan sesuai dan terstruktur dengan baik, narasumber kompeten, dan kualitas teknis kegiatan baik. Workshop ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang NLP, teknik pra-pemrosesan data teks, dan penggunaan Python dalam analisis teks bahasa. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini efektif dalam memperkenalkan NLP dan meningkatkan keterampilan analisis teks peserta menggunakan Python.

Abstract

Webinar dan workshop "Front-End Fundamentals: A Beginner's Guide to Web Development for Junior Programmer" bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dasar-dasar pengembangan web front-end kepada pemula. Acara ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom pada 19 Juli 2024 dan dihadiri oleh peserta dari berbagai universitas. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pengenalan HTML, CSS, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab, serta diakhiri dengan workshop praktis di mana peserta membangun halaman web sederhana menggunakan Visual Studio Code. Evaluasi melalui kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa 55,6% peserta sangat setuju, 22,2% setuju, dan 22,2% cukup setuju bahwa materi yang disampaikan relevan. Sebelum acara, rata-rata skor pretest peserta adalah 78,7, yang meningkat secara signifikan menjadi 91,82 setelah acara, menandakan peningkatan pemahaman yang substansial. Secara keseluruhan, acara ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang pengembangan web front-end, baik dari segi teori maupun praktik.

Abstract

Technological developments in the field of mobile applications have opened up many opportunities in various sectors. However, beginners often face obstacles due to a lack of basic knowledge about Android app development, so it is important for them to get a comprehensive and easy-to-understand education. In this context, the author and team organised an event titled “Step Into A New Dimension Of The Android App Development World For Beginners” with the aim of introducing the basics of Android app development to beginners with a structured approach. The programme was implemented through Webinars and Workshops, which included exposure to basic concepts to hands-on practice in creating simple applications. The evaluation results showed a positive response from 62 participants who came from various backgrounds, with 68% expressing satisfaction and 32% very satisfied with the implementation of this activity. In addition, the Pre-Test and Post-Test results showed an increase in participants' understanding of Android application development. This activity succeeded in providing a strong foundation for beginners to enter the world of Android application development.

Abstract

The The webinar and workshop titled "Getting Started with Machine Learning in Game Development", held on January 18, 2025, aimed to deliver foundational knowledge on Machine Learning (ML), with a specialized focus on Reinforcement Learning (RL) and its applications in game development, featuring two main sessions: a public webinar for theoretical education and a hands-on technical workshop. The webinar introduced core ML concepts, including Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, and Reinforcement Learning, while the workshop emphasized the practical implementation of RL using Unity ML-Agents, PyTorch, Anaconda, and the C# programming language, attracting 45–56 participants from diverse institutions and highlighting significant interest in ML applications within the creative industry, particularly game development. Pre-test results (administered prior to the sessions) yielded an average score of 64.68 and a median of 60, while post-test scores (conducted after the sessions) showed marked improvement, with an average of 81.22 and a median of 90, and participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees expressing satisfaction regarding the quality of content, expertise of speakers, and overall event organization, underscoring the effective reception of Machine Learning education and its potential to enhance skill development across sectors, including the creative and technology industries.Webinar dan Workshop "Getting Started with Machine Learning in Game Development", yang diselenggarakan pada 18 Januari 2025, bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang Machine Learning (ML) dengan fokus khusus pada Reinforcement Learning (RL) dan penerapannya dalam pengembangan game. Acara terdiri dari dua sesi utama: edukasi publik melalui webinar dan pelatihan teknis melalui Workshop. Webinar membahas dasar-dasar Machine Learning, Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, dan Reinforcement Learning, sementara Workshop berfokus pada penerapan RL menggunakan Unity ML-Agents, PyTorch, dan Anaconda dengan bahasa pemrograman C#. Acara ini berhasil menarik 45–56 peserta dari berbagai institusi, menunjukkan minat besar terhadap penerapan Machine Learning di industri kreatif, khususnya pengembangan game. Selain itu, mayoritas peserta memberikan umpan balik positif, menyatakan kepuasan terhadap kualitas materi, narasumber, dan penyelenggaraan acara. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa edukasi teknologi Machine Learning diterima dengan baik dan berpotensi mendukung pengembangan keterampilan di berbagai sektor, termasuk industri kreatif dan teknologi.

Abstract

In the digital era, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are required to adapt to technology to improve competitiveness in the global market. One effective strategy is the utilization of digital platforms for online product promotion. This webinar and workshop activity aims to provide MSME players with an understanding of the use of CapCut, Canva, and TikTok Shop as digital marketing tools. The webinar discussed the basic theory of digital marketing strategies, while the workshop provided hands-on practice in creating promotional content using the three platforms. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of participants' understanding. The results showed that 70% of participants experienced an increase in understanding, and 85% of participants were satisfied and very satisfied with the material presented. This activity proves that the utilization of digital technology can help MSMEs in increasing their visibility and market reach more broadly.

Abstract

In addition to bringing positive impacts, technological developments also provide new challenges in improving people's technological literacy, especially related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). One of the main challenges is the low public understanding of these technologies, which are increasingly relevant in the era of digital transformation. On the other hand, Google developed a library with the name TensorFlow which is widely used for data processing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Based on this, educational activities were carried out in the form of introducing and training the use of TensorFlow to the general public in the form of webinars and workshops with the theme ‘Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning’. The activity was carried out in two stages, namely webinars for delivering basic material and workshops for hands-on practice. Based on evaluation through a Likert scale questionnaire, the majority of participants stated that they were very satisfied with the quality of the material, presenters, and implementation of activities. The post-test results also showed an increase in participants' understanding of the material, as evidenced by correct answers on topics such as TensorFlow functions, supervised learning, and neural networks. The participation of 52 participants from various institutions shows the success of this activity in achieving its goals.

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has a crucial role in decision making. To increase public understanding, especially students, about Data Science, a webinar and online workshop titled “Python and Data Science: Building a Foundation with Practical Projects” through the Zoom Meeting Conference platform. This activity aims to provide a basic understanding of the concepts, benefits, and applications of Data Science in various industrial fields. Participants are invited to learn the use of Python in data analysis, and are given case study projects related to sales data analysis to apply the knowledge they have gained. This webinar and workshop activity was held on January 23, 2025, at 09.00 WIB which was attended by 40 participants from various institutions. The evaluation results show that participants expressed their satisfaction as indicated by the percentage of positive values in the feedback of 40% satisfied and 37% very satisfied with this activity.  In addition, there was an increase in participants' understanding of Data Science, with the Pre-Test average score increasing from 7.87% to 8.21% on the Post-Test.
