Abstract

A concept map is a diagram that visualizes the structure of individual cognitive knowledge. An approach to creating a concept map structure that allows users to contribute concepts and linkages that express their understanding freely is known as an "open-ended concept map." It has been demonstrated that an open-ended concept map accurately depicts student knowledge structures and reveals student differences. However, manually analyzing an open-ended map is difficult, time-consuming, and includes many propositions, especially in a big classroom. Educational data mining could be used to further process and analyze a collection of concept maps. However, many works attempted to employ data mining in order to produce concept maps structure from text documents rather than examining the knowledge representation. This study aimed to identify hidden students' knowledge representation combination patterns using association rules analysis. The dataset used in this study consisted of 27 open-concept maps created by university students. This study found interesting patterns that reveal students' knowledge in understanding the material given by the teacher.

Abstract

This study rigorously evaluates machine learning models for classifying culturally significant Javanese Wuku texts from the “Keagamaan atau Spiritual” category, a domain challenged by unique linguistic nuances and limited digitized resources. We compared Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes, and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) on texts from five pivotal Wuku types (Sinta, Galungan, Kuningan, Sungsang, Warigalit) sourced from sastra.org, aiming to identify the most effective computational approach. The dataset comprises N = 1419 documents (T = 751.290 tokens), with per-class document counts reported for all five Wuku types. Our evaluation uses accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and Area Under the Curve (AUC) under repeated stratified 5-fold cross-validation (10 repeats; 50 runs) to ensure robust estimates. CNN achieved the best performance with Accuracy = 0.92 ± [SD], Macro-F1 = 0.90 ± [SD], and AUC = 0.93 ± [SD], outperforming SVM (Accuracy: 0.87; F1-score: 0.84) and Naïve Bayes (Accuracy: 0.82; F1-score: 0.78). The results underscore CNN’s strong effectiveness for nuanced, context-rich text classification, offering a vital contribution to cultural heritage preservation and advancing Natural Language Processing (NLP) for under-resourced languages. From a knowledge-engineering perspective, predicted Wuku labels can serve as structured metadata to support computational indexing and retrieval of Wuku narratives in cultural information systems. Methodologically, our CNN is a lightweight, small-corpus design that uses tuned regularization (dropout/early stopping) and multi-scale convolution to capture culturally salient n-gram cues, rather than relying on a fixed default TextCNN configuration. Future work involves expanding the dataset and exploring advanced deep learning architectures.

Abstract

Digital transformation in health care necessitates HISs that can efficiently integrate people, organisations, and technology to deliver best performance in service delivery. This paper proposes a HIS performance evaluation model solution based on humanorganisation– technology fit (HOT-Fit) and information quality metrics (IQM) concept to evaluate system success technically. This model modifies the HOT-Fit model by incorporating an information quality metrics dimension with four constructs: accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and relevance. Research Methodology: The study follows quantitative approach and the survey questionnaires were filled by 150 active SIRS users from which the data was analysed using SEM. The findings suggest that the technology quality and information quality constructs significantly influence both user satisfaction and system use. Information quality is established as a mediating variable in the relationship between technological factors and user satisfaction. From a practical perspective, this integrated model has implications for understanding that achieving SIRS success depends not only on how well humans, organisations, and technology fit together but on the quality of the data and information produced. This research is a step towards the advancement of data metric based information system evaluation specifically in the domain of Health Infor matics, and also serves as a conceptual framework for enhancing HIS governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Extracting software requirements from descriptive documents is a crucial yet challenging phase in software engineering, par-ticularly when performed manually. This research proposes DRE!, a framework for automatically extracting functional requirements from Indonesian-language system descriptions. The employed methodology applies a concise workflow that begins with data acquisition, involving a system description and a predefined list of actors. The process continues with preprocessing, word dependency parsing for grammatical analysis, actor detection featuring a previous-sentence refer-ence mechanism, and requirement construction using an ac-tor-centric template. The workflow concludes with a similarity check (cosine similarity) for redundancy elimination. The framework was evaluated on eight software description da-tasets. The evaluation results demonstrate promising perfor-mance, with F1-Scores on seven of the eight datasets ranging from 0.76 to 0.88. Peak performance was recorded on the "EduLearn" dataset (F1-Score 0.88). However, an anomaly was identified in the "LogiWare" dataset (F1-Score 0.52), which was attributed to a high rate of False Positives. This finding indicates that DRE! is effective in extracting require-ments, but its performance is highly influenced by the clarity and linguistic style of the source documents.
