Abstract

Pembangunan perekonomian suatu wilayah memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat wilayah tersebut. Kebijakan yang tepat sangat dibutuhkan agar tujuan pembangunan ekonomi tersebut dapat tercapai. Pengetahuan tentang kinerja dan peranan sektor perekonomian akan membantu pemerintah daerah dalam merancang suatu kebijakan pembangunan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan di Provinsi Jambi, dan mengidentifikasi peranan sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan dalam perekonomian Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder periode tahun 2011-2020. Data yang digunakan adalah data PDB Indonesia, PDB sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan Indonesia, PDRB Provinsi Jambi, dan PDRB sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan Provinsi Jambi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kinerja sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan Provinsi Jambi adalah baik dengan indikator kecenderung PDRB sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan yang meningkat dan besarnya kontribusi sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan yang lebih dari 25%. Sektor pertanian merupakan sektor basis di Provinsi Jambi, hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai LQ sektor yang lebih dari 1. Sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan Provinsi Jambi termasuk kedalam sektor unggulan berdasarkan nilai rerata LQ dan DLQ yang lebih dari 1. Klasifikasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sektor pertanian merupakan sektor basis saat ini maupun dimasa yang akan datang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis shift share diketahui bahwa perekonomian nasional berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan Provinsi Jambi, dan sekto pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan Provinsi Jambi memiliki keunggulan kompetitif jika dibandingkan dengan sektor yang sama di provinsi lain.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of (1) to know the description of rice field farming in East Tanjung Jabung Regency, (2) to know the factors that influence the farmer's decision in following the rice insurance program (AUTP) program in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The selection of this location is done purposively (Purposive) with the consideration that Simpang Datuk Village is the source of its livelihood from rice field farming activities and has the largest number of farmer groups and one of its paddy rice fields following the rice insurance (AUTP) program in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Method of sampling using simple random sampling (Simple Random Sampling) with the number of respondents as much as 78 farmers. Data analysis using descriptive analysis method, then use logistic binery analysis. It can be seen from the general description of the farming activities in the research area that is the use of farming production factors is that the widest use of land ranges from 1.6 to 20 Ha, for the use of labor both in the family and outside the family ranges from 84 to 120 HOK while for capital used in farming activities ranges from Rp 3.305.715 - Rp 3.795.100. Thus all factors used in farming activities affect the productivity in achieving the expected results of farmers. Factors that are expected to affect farmers' decision to participate in the AUTP program include the ability of farmers to pay premium / income, experience of farming, the area of ​​land owned, the number of dependents of the family and the occupation of farmers. The results showed that there were 4 factors with error rate (5%) which significantly influence the decision to follow AUTP program in Simpang Datuk Village, Nipah Panjang Sub-District, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Factors in question is the ability of farmers to pay premium / income, experience berusahatani, land owned, and the number of family dependents. While side job variables have no significant effect on farmer's decision in following program of insurance of paddy farming (AUTP) in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. Abstract

Act (Act) No. 41, 1999 concerning state forestry forests is one determinant of life supporting systems and sources of welfare. During the first 20 years of forest management by concessions have many negative issues, especially forest destruction and many concession holders who cease to operate before the time runs out. They argument there are potential for wood that has been exhausted, and some of them not extend the operating license for the second time becouse forests have been heavily damaged and its potential continues to decline.Under these conditions, the Government in this case the Ministry of Forestry tried to look for the new format and issue a wide range of policies to create an optimal model of forest management. One of the policies issued by the government is the establishment of Forest Management Unit (FMU) in every function of forest area. Hereinafter abbreviated Forest Management Unit (FMU) is the smallest unit of forest management according to the principal functions , which can be managed efficiently and sustainably.Scientific papers about the analysis of governance relationships of ex HPH areas management in Jambi Province namely as a guide for local governments for implementation of a good institutional relationship that is consistent and harmonious between KPHP and IUPHHK units. While the goal of scientific writing in order to formulate a governance relationship between IUPHHK and KPHP units.In the implementation of sustainable production forest management, organization of production forest area is the Unitary Production Forest Management (KPHP) while for protected area is KPHL and for conservation areas is KPHK. In the former concession areas that do not have the license holder, KPHP duty are: (1) conduct forest management ex-concession area. (2) describe the national forest policy, provincial and district forestry sector to be implemented in the management of the former concession area in units of KPH. (3) implement forest management activities in their areas ranging from planning, organizing, implementation and supervision and control. (4) carry out monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of forest management activities in the areas of ex-HPH. (5) investment opportunities in the former concession area in order to support the achievement of objectives of forest management and (6) social construction in the community around KPH.

Abstract

Penellitian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Pall Merah Kecamatan Jambi Selatan Kota Jambi terhadap 36 orang petani sayuran yang dipilih secara acak sederhana. Tujuan  penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keragaman komoditas dan untuk mengetahui besarnya pendapatan Usahatani diversifikasi komoditas sayur-sayuran serta menganalisis korelasi tingkat keragaman komoditas usahatani diversifikasi dengan tingkat pendapatan usahatani diversifikasi komoditas sayur-sayuran di Kecamatan Jambi Selatan Kota Jambi. Data hasil penelitian akan dianalisis secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif digunakan untuk melihat kegiatan produksi, strategi pengembangan usaha pada usahatani komoditas sayur-sayuran di lokasi penelitian dan beberapa hal lain yang terkait akan diuraikan secara deskriptif. Analisis kuantitatif disajikan dalam bentuk tabulasi yang bertujuan untuk menyederhanakan data dalam bentuk yang mudah dibaca.Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 11 komoditas sayur-sayuran penyusun pola diversifikasi di Kecamatan Jambi Selatan yang terdiri dari 5 pola tanam diversifikasi dengan indeks keragaman sedang. Keuntungan tertinggi diperoleh dari pola tanam V (7 komoditas) dan dengan koefisien korelasi antara keragaman dan pendapatan sebesar 80,52.   Kata kunci : sayur-sayuran, diversifikasi komoditas, tingkat keragaman,  peningkatan pendapatan
