Abstract

The history of the reformation of the church is a very long and very memorable history for the church. The Reformation was an attempt by the reformers to return the church to biblical authority. The life of the church before the reformation was very far from the truth of the Bible, where church leaders carried out deviations and heretical teachings. Many church leaders take advantage of their position to gain profit, for example the sale of a pardon. Luther invited people at that time to turn to the true teachings of the Bible. Outside of Martin Luther, there were also reformers who continued Luther's work, namely John Calvin and Ulrich Zwingli. After 500 years of church reformation, the church today is still feeling the effects of the reformation although there are still churches that deviate from the teachings of the Bible. The church reformation changed wrong mindsets and views and brought believers to the true truth of the Bible. The results of the reformation brought believers to the true knowledge of Jesus Christ. The situation before the reformation and after the reformation is very different, where the entire leadership in the church has been changed. Leaders in the church today are not only governed by the pastor but also by people who have been chosen and determined.

Abstract

This article discusses contextual theology about the existence of Jesus after His ascension in the Protestant Banua Niha Keriso Church. Contextualization is an attempt to make the existence of Jesus relevant in every context in ministry. Jesus Christ was not only a perfect man but also a true God. Even though He has ascended to heaven in the glory of His Father, in a divine manner, He has not left His people. This paper uses a qualitative research method by collecting data and other scientific articles. In this discussion, we find that Jesus as God is present in the midst of His people by going above and beyond the context of human life by emphasizing the church as God's representative in declaring truth and change.   Artikel ini membahas tentang refleksi teologi kontekstual tentang eksistensi Yesus pasca kenaikan-Nya di Gereja Banua Niha Keriso Protestan. Kontekstualisasi merupakan upaya bagaimana eksistensi Yesus menjadi relevan dalam setiap konteks dalam pelayanan. Yesus Kristus bukan hanya manusia yang sempurna akan tetapi Ia juga Allah yang sejati. Kendati Ia sudah naik ke sorga dalam kemuliaan Bapa-Nya, secara ke-Allahan, Ia tidak meninggalkan umat-Nya. Tulisan ini dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data-data dan artikel-artikel ilmiah lainnya. Dalam pembahasan ini menemukan bahwa Yesus sebagai Allah hadir ditengah-tengah umat-Nya dengan melebihi dan melampaui konteks kehidupan manusia dengan menekankan gereja sebagai wakil Allah Dalam menyatakan kebenaran dan perubahan.

Abstract

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, distance or online learning has become the primary method used by the government, in this case the Ministry of Education and Culture, to prevent the increasing number of Covid-19 viruses and the emergence of clusters in schools. In online learning, PAK teachers in their multifunctional role need to apply contextual learning strategies so that teaching and learning activities can take place in a systematic, directed, unobstructed, effective and efficient manner and can achieve educational targets. Contextual learning is a learning strategy that emphasizes the process of student involvement to achieve goals associated with real-life situations. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and data collection is done by interview and documentation as well as relevant literature. The results of the study on some high achieving students' motivation and interest in learning increased with the online learning method after the Christian Religious Education teacher carried out the role optimally by using contextual learning strategies.

Abstract

In pastoral care, a more in-depth study will focus on pastoral care services that focus on human issues as a whole. Humans are relational beings, this statement marks the development of new breakthroughs in pastoral care. Humans as relational beings need attention to each other as a whole. In this case, humans are seen as multidimensional beings consisting of physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects. So far, when someone comes to seek advice or a solution to their problem, the church tends to provide a solution based on spiritual analysis alone. This study tries to find the most relevant model of pastoral care and answers the complexities of human life. Simultaneously with the emergence of awareness to expand the focus of pastoral care, the view of humans as multidimensional beings also raises awareness to make pastoral care a type of contextual service. This article will describe new discourses and ideas in the pastoral field that are more relevant, holistic, and contextual.   AbstrakDalam pelayanan pastoral, diteliti lebih mendalam akan fokus pelayanan pendampingan pastoral yang menitikberatkan persoalan manusia secara utuh menyeluruh. Manusia yang adalah mahluk relasional, statemen ini menandai dikembangkannya terobosan baru dalam pelayanan pastoral. Manusia sebagai mahluk relasional membutuhkan perhatian satu sama lain secara utuh. Dalam hal ini manusia dilihat sebagai mahluk multidimensional yang terdiri dari aspek fisik, mental, sosial, dan spiritual. Selama ini, ketika seseorang datang untuk mencari nasihat atau solusi atas masalah mereka, gereja cenderung memberikan solusi hanya berdasarkan analisis spiritual saja. Penelitian ini mencoba menemukan model pendampingan pastoral yang paling relevan dan menjawab kompleksitas kehidupan manusia. Bersamaan dengan muncul kesadaran memperluas fokus pelayanan pastoral, pandangan tentang manusia sebagai mahluk multidimensional juga memunculkan kesadaran untuk membuat pelayanan pastoral menjadi jenis pelayanan kontekstual. Dalam artikel ini akan diurai wacana dan gagasan baru di bidang pastoral yang lebih relevan, holistic dan juga kontekstual.

Abstract

Postmodernism is an understanding that wants to evade the old order of cultural life, remodel and rebuild the model of new world order. Postmodernism is present in a philosophical idea in the form of a paradigm of thought, intellectual style, the spirit of the times (zeitgeist). Its influence has reached various fields of life, including the religious sector. The rise of new religious movements (GAB) in the last half-century has continued to increase. Is this caused by the presence of postmodernism which has spread subjective, relative, and pluralist reasoning? This research reveals the influence and impact of postmodernism on the rise of these new religious movements. The method used is library research, namely research carried out through collecting data or scientific papers aimed at the object of research or data collection that is the library in nature, or studies carried out to solve a problem that basically relies on the critical and in-depth study. to relevant library materials. AbstrakPosmodernisme merupakan suatu paham yang ingin mengelak dari tatanan kehidupan budaya lama, merombak dan membangun ulang model tatanan dunia baru. Posmodernisme hadir dalam sebuah gagasan filosofis berupa paradigma berpikir, gaya intelektual, semangat zaman (zeitgeist). Pengaruhnya pun telah sampai di berbagai bidang kehidupan, tak terkecuali di sektor agama. Kebangkitan gerakan-gerakan agama baru (GAB) dalam separuh abad belakangan  ini terus meningkat. Apakah ini disebabkan oleh kehadiran postmodernisme yang telah menebarkan penalaran subjektif, relative dan pluralis? Penelitian ini mengungkap pengaruh dan dampak pos-modernisme terhadap kebangkitan gerakan-gerakan agama baru itu. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan atau library research, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan melalui mengumpulkan data atau karya tulis ilmiah yang bertujuan dengan objek penelitian atau pengum-pulan data yang bersifat kepustakaan, atau telaah yang dilaksanakan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah yang pada dasarnya bertumpu pada penelaahan kritis dan mendalam terhadap bahan-bahan pustaka yang relevan.

Abstract

Technological developments and changes in civilization in the era of globalization sweeping the world today has caused a multidimensional crisis so that the necessary mission service activities for outreach souls that need to be saved. Mission activities are the fulfillment of God's mission for the salvation of all humanity. The Holy Spirit must be present in every mission of mission, not just with funds and resources. This article discusses mission in a biblical perspective in the midst of a multidimensional crisis sweeping the world and its impacts with a qualitative descriptive method from literature study. The results and discussion show how important the role of mission is by involving church leaders who have a vision to mobilize local congregations involved in missionary activities for the salvation of God's people. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan peradaban pada era globalisasi melanda dunia saat ini telah menimbulkan krisis multidimensi sehingga diperlukan kegiatan pelayanan misi untuk penjangkauan jiwa-jiwa yang perlu diselamatkan. Kegiatan misi merupakan penggenapan misi Allah bagi keselamatan seluruh umat manusia. Roh Kudus harus dihadirkan dalam setiap pengutusan kegiatan misi, bukan hanya sekedar dengan dana dan daya. Artikel ini membahas misi dalam perspektif alkitab di tengah krisis multidimensi yang melanda dunia serta dampak-dampaknya dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dari kajian pustaka. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan betapa pentingnya peranan misi dengan melibatkan pemimpin jemaat yang memiliki visi untuk memobilisasi jemaat lokal terlibat dalam kegiatan misi untuk keselamatan umat Tuhan.

Abstract

The feminist movement became a movement that moved and challenged the church from the comfort of male domination. The role of women is increasingly strengthened and developed in various aspects of life, including aspects of church leadership. This resulted in debates among male-dominated church leaders; whether women's leadership roles can be accepted or rejected. This article is presented to add to the theological study of women and their leadership in the church through the perspective of feminist hermeneutics while upholding respect and authority for the Bible. The method used is grammar-accommodative, which is a combination of grammatical understanding of the text and translatively translated. Finally, the involvement of women in the formation of Christian social ethics in the future will broaden the horizon of understanding the interaction of women and men in social structures and ecclesiastics. Abstrak Gerakan feminis menjadi sebuah gerakan yang menggugah dan meng-gugat gereja dari kenyamanannya dominasi laki-laki. Peranan perempuan semakin diperkuat dan dikembangkan di pelbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk aspek kepemimpinan gereja. Hal ini ini berdampak perdebatan di kalangan pimpinan gereja yang didominasi laki-laki; apakah peranan kepemimpinan perempuan bisa diterima atau ditolak. Artikel ini disajikan untuk menambah kajian teologis mengenai perempuan dan kepemimpinannya di gereja melalui perspektif hermeneutika feminis, dengan tetap menjunjung tinggi penghargaan dan otoritas terhadap Alkitab. Metode yang digunakan adalah grammar-akomodatif, yang merupakan perpaduan pengertian teks secara gramatikal dan diterjemahkan secara akomo-datif. Akhirnya, keterlibatan perempuan ke dalam pembentukan etika sosial Kristen di masa depan akan memperluas cakrawala pemahaman tentang interaksi perempuan dan laki-laki dalam struktur sosial dan kegerejawian.

Abstract

Alfred North Whitehead adalah pemikir besar Inggris yang telah membidani dan mengembangkan filsafat proses yang disebut filsafat organisme. Dengan komitmen dan ketekunan yang penuh ketelitian, Whitehead menempuh proses demi proses ke arah satu kesatuan konjungtif, menyangkutkan ilmu pada pengetahuan (episteme to logos). Artikel ini meneliti bagaimana gagasan epistemologi Alfred North Whitehead dengan menggunakan penelitian literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa pemikirannya menjadi gagasan-gagasan dalam mengintegrasikan dan mengembangkan perkembangan keilmuan di bidang yang lain termasuk teologi.

Abstract

Lately, religion has become something scary and worrying. Religion in the hands of its followers often appears with a face full of violence and as if it has lost its friendliness. In recent years, there have been many conflicts, intolerance and violence in the name of religion and belief. Religious pluralism is not a reality that requires people to put each other down, belittle each other, or confuse one religion with another, but instead places it in a position of mutual respect, mutual recognition and cooperation. In order to eliminate the destructive aspects of religion and present its constructive side as a unifier, schools as institutions mandated to educate the nation's life must participate in providing an understanding of religion and must be able to create an environment that provides education. Opportunities for students to build harmonious social relationships between students of different religions. For this reason, an effort is needed in certain religious communities to reflect or think coherently about the new awareness as an effort to respond to this problem of pluralism. To address this matter, Religionum Theology as a branch of theology that discusses how Christianity responds to the reality of the existence of religious plurality outside itself, especially in Christian Religious Education.

Abstract

The reality of progress which is the wealth of the nation has been misinterpreted by religious groups that divide the nation. The reality today is that religion has become a commodity that exploits "bottenless" substandard morality like barbarians who are as violent as early humans. Spiritual leaders should not use the congregation as a commodity for self-popularity and hedonism, on the contrary, church leaders should make God's people truly have an attachment to God and not this world. Religious moderation is to minimize violence against different beliefs. This article aims to offer religious moderation that builds tolerance and plurality in Indonesia. Realitas kemajukan yang merupakan kekayaan bangsa sudah disalahartikan oleh kelompok agamis yang memecah belah bangsa. Realitas saat ini agama menjadi komoditas yang mengeksplotasi moralitas yang “bottenless” dibawah standar bagaikan bar-bar yang beringas seperti manusia purba. Para pemimpin rohani seharusnya tidak memanfaatkan jemaat sebagai komoditas popularitas diri dan hidup hedon sebaliknya pemimpin gereja harus membuat umat Tuhan sungguh-sungguh memiliki kemelekatan dengan Tuhan bukan dunia ini. Moderasi agama adalah meminimalis akan kekerasan terhadap kepercayaan yang berbeda. Artikel ini bertujuan menawarkan moderasi beragama yang membangun toleransi dan pluralitas di Indonesia.
